Great place to visit, something for everyone.

Great place to visit, something for everyone.
We spent 2 days here with the 2nd day free return (safari only) stayed over night at a local premier inn as from Essex.
Fantastic so much to do and see. So many large animals you dont often get to see up close. Also done the bus tour, worth it as they will get you up closer to some animals.
With the theme park too my son (12 yrs) loved it, the queues weren't massive he would run straight back round to go again on most of the big rides.
Lots of choice for food and drink, park is clean.
Absolutely fab couple of days.

Brilliant day out. The kids loved the safari with plenty of opportunities to feed the animals. The rest of the park was good with a variety of animals / activities. The free return ticket is a bonus too! Definitely coming back.

Amazing place! A fab day out not just for kids but for adults too! Expensive day out but you do get a free return ticket. We was on the Safari for just over two hours. I wouldnt recommend the fairground. Completely overpriced and not worth the money they charge per child.

Great day out have been before and enjoyed it. The dinosaurs and Ice Age were better than we were expecting with our nearly 12 year old granddaughter we decided to have a look and we all were impressed. We didn't eat there so cannot comment on food.

Take the jeep Safari. You find out more about the animals. Plus your car won't get damaged. Hand feeding giraffes was a delight. Stay in the bat cave until your eyes adjust totally. You will see more.
Take a walk and find Lemurs in the trees around you.

A really good place with an interesting and wide variety of animals. Two major problems: 1. Way too many people with unsuccessful traffic management, 2. Noone including staff was really distancing or following the Covid rules.

Really good day out, not too expensive had a good two hours safari looking at the animals and stroking a few then in to the zoo part which took about the same time. Had excellent fish and chips in the kid friendly restaurant which was also reasonably priced. They do need more baby changing facilities especially in the men's.

Visited Safari Park on Sat 12th July 2020. Stuck nose to tail in 2 solid lines of traffic with no escape for at least 2 hours with 3 small children in the vehicle and 3 adults in wall to wall sunshine and intensely hot temperatures. Saw a family with with small babies and children get out of their car in an enclosed area because their car had over heated! The experience was awful for everyone. The parks were too full for any kind of safety regarding social distancing and covid. I complained as soon as i got home and am still waiting for a response from the department who my complaint has been passed to.
Very disappointing visit indeed ! Jo Wilby

The safari drive through is good overall but VERY boring. Took us hours on a coach and kids were getting very frustrated and agitated. Most of the animals are always hiding or asleep so no my much of a buzz. However the theme park is very good for kids of all ages.

Great day out which is in driving distance for most of central UK. It gets quite busy so I suggest as early a start as you can manage and be sure to wear cool clothing (Especially if it's warm outside and your car doesn't have good air con) as you will be unable to open windows for much of the journey around the park (3hours or so).
The facilities are good and there is plenty to do after the safari including feeding sessions for animals etc (Again best to be early so you can see them up close) so you can get a full day out of it.

Really enjoyed my day here, and my daughter enjoyed it even more. Lots to see and do even with the rides closed for winter. The safari is much longer than expected with a good variety of healthy looking content animals (I'm no expert, but they looked happier than in a zoo)
Highly recommend

My partner and I had an AMAZING time !!! The prices were reasonable for the interactive experience we got. All animals were friendly and happy to interact just as we were. The staff were lovely and inviting. We are not only sure to return but we will share the good word of this safari park. Keep doing what you're doing !

Took my lad here with his cousins and they all had a great time.

Only a couple of gripes:

1) I bought a wrist-band for all of us, which turned out to be pretty pointless from my perspective. If you have young kids get them wrist bands so they can go on all of the rides but just grab a few tickets for yourself. I think I went on 1 ride whilst the young'uns went on pretty much everything!

2) The lady serving (flogging the wrist bands) was a miserable cow.

All in all, an excellent day.

Great day out but can get very crowded. Plenty of closer encounters with the animals and, if you have children or just like rides, get the inclusive package for the theme park. We were there for eight hours and didn't see everything.

Check out the deal for returning for free as well. Makes the whole thing a real bargain.

Great place to spend the day with the kids. Animals have lovely enclosures and the safari is ace and all are well looked after. The food is a bit expensive as expected, we took a picnic. Not many places to eat a picnic undercover though. Boj Park is amazing, as are the dinosaurs and the new ice age part

We have visited the park a few times over the year...

We have visited the park a few times over the years, but today was shocking! We pre-booked, which i assumed helped to keep numbers visiting within a reasonable frame? We arrived at just gone 11am, and the queues were horrendous, the park was one car park! Given that we are still in the Covid pandemic, i was shocked at the amount of visitors let in. Clearly you're ok in your vehicle, but the rides, walk in animal areas would be heaving with the amount of people there today. It took us 2.5 hours to get around the safari part, to which it was too busy to see the animals, and people holding up a queue for far too long. You could hardly feed the animals you are allowed as rangers moved them on. Giraffes not roaming. We saw lots of deer though... We paid for a wristband for my granddaughter, but declined this on arrival due to the amount of visitors and the ability to social distance safely. We were told to email to get this refunded. The first sign you see when you drive in was about limited guests to aid social distancing...the car parks were crammed, so no idea how the 'limited guests' work for them? We love this park, but today was an expensive and disappointing experience. Personally, i wouldn't waste my money or time there, felt like we sat in a traffic jam for 2.5 hours then left. My 5 year old granddaughter was upset we didn't go around again, but it just wasn't worth the time, and the new route around isn't as good as before, just seemed like we didn't see many animals today. Personally it felt like they need to get as much business back from the closure due to covid.
