Great day out. You haven't heard from me but some carrots will add to the fun
Great day out. I thought it was just the safari to go around so was pleasantly surprised they had a pedestrian area with smaller creatures and birds. Would definitely recommend
Great place to visit, something for everyone.
We spent 2 days here with the 2nd day free return (safari only) stayed over night at a local premier inn as from Essex.
Fantastic so much to do and see. So many large animals you dont often get to see up close. Also done the bus tour, worth it as they will get you up closer to some animals.
With the theme park too my son (12 yrs) loved it, the queues weren't massive he would run straight back round to go again on most of the big rides.
Lots of choice for food and drink, park is clean.
Absolutely fab couple of days.
Brilliant day out. The kids loved the safari with plenty of opportunities to feed the animals. The rest of the park was good with a variety of animals / activities. The free return ticket is a bonus too! Definitely coming back.
Amazing place! A fab day out not just for kids but for adults too! Expensive day out but you do get a free return ticket. We was on the Safari for just over two hours. I wouldnt recommend the fairground. Completely overpriced and not worth the money they charge per child.
Great day out have been before and enjoyed it. The dinosaurs and Ice Age were better than we were expecting with our nearly 12 year old granddaughter we decided to have a look and we all were impressed. We didn't eat there so cannot comment on food.
A lovely place to visit. Some lovely animals great amusement park for the children and very popular with families
Fab day AGAIN... Just about our favourite place to hang!!!!!!!!
Take the jeep Safari. You find out more about the animals. Plus your car won't get damaged. Hand feeding giraffes was a delight. Stay in the bat cave until your eyes adjust totally. You will see more.
Take a walk and find Lemurs in the trees around you.
Went on a family day out, did not disappoint (even though we didn't see Giraffes or hippos) our 14 month old loved every moment
Amazing day out for the whole family with plenty to see and do. Food and drink is good value as well.
Amazing experience! We was feeding lots of animals and enjoyed rides at the end. We will come back! It was great time :)
A really good place with an interesting and wide variety of animals. Two major problems: 1. Way too many people with unsuccessful traffic management, 2. Noone including staff was really distancing or following the Covid rules.
Good day out, expensive. The food inside is ridiculously expensive. They would sell more if they were cheaper. Inturn more profit.
Friendly staff.
Really good day out, not too expensive had a good two hours safari looking at the animals and stroking a few then in to the zoo part which took about the same time. Had excellent fish and chips in the kid friendly restaurant which was also reasonably priced. They do need more baby changing facilities especially in the men's.
Really nice place, animals have lots of room. Unfortunately it's quite expensive, but you do get a free return trip. Maybe they could lower the price and not give out free returns...
Visited Safari Park on Sat 12th July 2020. Stuck nose to tail in 2 solid lines of traffic with no escape for at least 2 hours with 3 small children in the vehicle and 3 adults in wall to wall sunshine and intensely hot temperatures. Saw a family with with small babies and children get out of their car in an enclosed area because their car had over heated! The experience was awful for everyone. The parks were too full for any kind of safety regarding social distancing and covid. I complained as soon as i got home and am still waiting for a response from the department who my complaint has been passed to.
Very disappointing visit indeed ! Jo Wilby
Fantastic place for families, the proximity to wild animals is extra.
A lovely day out. A little slow round the safari but I think that was due to the amount of people there.
Love this place. Would recommend for kids of all ages, something for everyone
Disappointing hit n miss as if you see the main animals. Amusement Park seems crowded and a little chaotic be a while before we go again
The safari drive through is good overall but VERY boring. Took us hours on a coach and kids were getting very frustrated and agitated. Most of the animals are always hiding or asleep so no my much of a buzz. However the theme park is very good for kids of all ages.
Really nice place to visit for Safari experiance... You will get Safari + Zoo + Rides in one place... Lots of open space...
Loved the dinosaurs. I found it expensive.Disappointed as there weren't any white lions, painted dogs, cheetahs,Sumatran tiger , hippopotamus or lemurs. Guide book and other prices expensive. However staff was friendly.
Great day out which is in driving distance for most of central UK. It gets quite busy so I suggest as early a start as you can manage and be sure to wear cool clothing (Especially if it's warm outside and your car doesn't have good air con) as you will be unable to open windows for much of the journey around the park (3hours or so).
The facilities are good and there is plenty to do after the safari including feeding sessions for animals etc (Again best to be early so you can see them up close) so you can get a full day out of it.
Really enjoyed my day here, and my daughter enjoyed it even more. Lots to see and do even with the rides closed for winter. The safari is much longer than expected with a good variety of healthy looking content animals (I'm no expert, but they looked happier than in a zoo)
Highly recommend
Good place to go but need lots of patience going round the animals cars stop to see the animals blocking the road and dont listen to the rangers so that others can get round
Fantastic place to visit. Well organized and lots to do for everyone. Close encounters with lots of animals. Even includes amusement park with rides.
My partner and I had an AMAZING time !!! The prices were reasonable for the interactive experience we got. All animals were friendly and happy to interact just as we were. The staff were lovely and inviting. We are not only sure to return but we will share the good word of this safari park. Keep doing what you're doing !
A wonderful day out, to much to do and see in one visit
Took my lad here with his cousins and they all had a great time.
Only a couple of gripes:
1) I bought a wrist-band for all of us, which turned out to be pretty pointless from my perspective. If you have young kids get them wrist bands so they can go on all of the rides but just grab a few tickets for yourself. I think I went on 1 ride whilst the young'uns went on pretty much everything!
2) The lady serving (flogging the wrist bands) was a miserable cow.
All in all, an excellent day.
Our best day out in ages. Seeing (and feeding) the giraffes made our day. The theme park was a compete suprise, we knew it had some rides but it's a lot better than expected, especially for children. Will definitely go back.
A family fun-day filled with alot to see and do.....favourites were the small parrot enclosure and the water rides....got very wet!!!!
Great day out but can get very crowded. Plenty of closer encounters with the animals and, if you have children or just like rides, get the inclusive package for the theme park. We were there for eight hours and didn't see everything.
Check out the deal for returning for free as well. Makes the whole thing a real bargain.
was great, paid for tour bus and makes sooo much difference.
It took nearly 2 1/2 hours to drive around due to the amount of traffic not being properly moved on, I find longleat has much better organisation.
Far too busy. They should limit number of cars going in.
Great day out food prices are fair for the size and quality
great value day out and something for everyone. the walkthrough bat enclosure was my sons favourite. we will be back soon.
Great place to spend the day with the kids. Animals have lovely enclosures and the safari is ace and all are well looked after. The food is a bit expensive as expected, we took a picnic. Not many places to eat a picnic undercover though. Boj Park is amazing, as are the dinosaurs and the new ice age part
BRILLIANT DAY OUT !
We have been here 3 times now with our little girl. First-time we have taken our little boy pn sunday though he loved it !
We decided to take them here to celebrate my Little girls 5th birthday.
Amazing time to spend with the family. Moments to treasure seeing the animals and sharing the experience.
Definately coming back again soon with our little Baby when she arrives !
10/10
Good place. Can be a bit slow driving around the safari when busy.
A very expensive day, but knowing how much it costs to keep the animals it was well worth it.
A Fantastic day out. The new giggly park was brilliant for my kids aged 2 and 10, they didn't want to leave it.
Animals were healthy and appeared happy. Facilities were good and they were engaging
Brilliant family day out (don't try driving through work a car full in an underpowered French MPV with engine issues or you might cook your clutch... I did!).
Oh lovely safari park! Perfect place to spend your free day with family
Good fun. But there was a ridiculously long queue to get in. We were waiting half an hour in the car.
Good place to go for a family day out. However, you may not be able see all animals.
Children thoroughly enjoyed the safari, the other animals and dinosaurs. Rides mostly targetted at the young visitors. Staff were all helpful.
Brilliant place has a wonderful day. But what has happened to the train that went from the hippos to the entrance and back again.
We have visited the park a few times over the years, but today was shocking! We pre-booked, which i assumed helped to keep numbers visiting within a reasonable frame? We arrived at just gone 11am, and the queues were horrendous, the park was one car park! Given that we are still in the Covid pandemic, i was shocked at the amount of visitors let in. Clearly you're ok in your vehicle, but the rides, walk in animal areas would be heaving with the amount of people there today. It took us 2.5 hours to get around the safari part, to which it was too busy to see the animals, and people holding up a queue for far too long. You could hardly feed the animals you are allowed as rangers moved them on. Giraffes not roaming. We saw lots of deer though... We paid for a wristband for my granddaughter, but declined this on arrival due to the amount of visitors and the ability to social distance safely. We were told to email to get this refunded. The first sign you see when you drive in was about limited guests to aid social distancing...the car parks were crammed, so no idea how the 'limited guests' work for them? We love this park, but today was an expensive and disappointing experience. Personally, i wouldn't waste my money or time there, felt like we sat in a traffic jam for 2.5 hours then left. My 5 year old granddaughter was upset we didn't go around again, but it just wasn't worth the time, and the new route around isn't as good as before, just seemed like we didn't see many animals today. Personally it felt like they need to get as much business back from the closure due to covid.
Amazing place... seeing the animals roaming around huge spaces and eating naturally like they where when we went was brilliant. So much to see here. Would definitely visit again and again
Fantastic place.
Well kept and presented animals of different varieties.
Well worth the visit to see for yourself and to support the work they do
Highly recommend, great place for kids & reasonable prices
