I went on a one week trip to las vegas and los angeles and by far it was one of the worst trips yet. To begin with the hotels that are offered are situated in the middle of no-where, which limits your ability to travel to explore unless you re willing to spend money to commute from the hotel to another location.

Some of the hotels in Los Angeles that are provided are low tier hotels located beside the freeway, while the hotel in Las Vegas is also located somewhat far from the actual attractions, both of these are locational issues lead to larger prolems as it forces the customer to follow the provided schedule which has commuting times of 2 hours to 10 hours round trip depending on the activity. In addition to this, the distance from Los Angeles to Las Vegas is another 10 hour roundtrip, so if you re willing to play bus simulator be my guest.

Some of the canyons that are included in the trip are almost trippled the price of base admission, even with gas and drivers cost the amount paid is hardly worth. Furthermore, if you don t show up you still have to pay a fee.

In conclussion, I spent literally 2 days commuting on the round trip to and from Las Vegas. I skipped 2 days of commuting to avoid going to the to canyons so that I could stay in my hotel room and do nothing and I m probably gonna avoid going to the next event too and use my time to actually do something like call a lyft and go elsewhere not multiple hours away.

I just want to say that we got lucky and got one of the best tour guide in the company for our tour. He was very patient, experienced, knowledgable, and charming.
The only thing that we feel that could be better is the time spent at each location could be longer, allowing for a less rushed experience.
Overall, the tour guide definitely deserves a promotion.

A guide who only knows how to collect money! There are no explanations for the scenic spots. Getting off the bus means constantly smoking and actually arguing with guests! If you live in a casino hotel or a motel, you have to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. The seat of the car is very small, there are no curtains for the sunshade, and the emergency brakes are often carried out. After seven days it was very hard. As if we did n t pay, my friend said it s better to be a seagull! With such a poor reputation, can this travel agency survive? I gave a star because I was still alive to go home ...

The way West Coast Holidays operate (at least for the Yellowstone Tour) is kind of like a distribution center where the cargo is filled to their truck where there is space and same destination. Tourist could be with one group of people one day and you would be on another tour on your 3rd day. This creates a lot of confusion with the tourist and the tour guide. The tour guide we had was rude and lazy, Kevin Wang picked us up at the 2nd stop at Vegas, we got on the bus and the bus just started driving. He did not indicate where we are going or introduce the tour. He came to us and stated we cannot use the bathroom on the bus as this will create unpleasant smell for other customer and no coffee/open drink on the bus. There were so many restrictions on the bus
A lot of time when we get on the bus, tour guide do not tell you anything until we are about 10 mins out. E.g. okay we are now Lake Powell, let s come back to the bus in 30 mins. There is very little to no background to the attraction to the place, you are on your own to find out.
Tour guide was rude to the tourist, several times some tourist was trying to question the tour guide on some issue and the tour guide just shut them out and asked them to stay quiet what kind of service is that?! There was another time we were at Yellowstone where we need to walk a far distance to an attraction. The tour guide was holding out the flag and walking. Our tour had 58 peoples and the tour guide was walking so fast none of the tourist could catch up to me. Yes, he was literally walking himself. After he realized no one was following him, he waited and starting clapping his hands and telling people you guys walk like and old solders . After about 30 mins, some people arrived at the attraction first and the tour guide said let s take your picture and get back to the bus. On a separate occasion, some of the tourist was late to the meeting time; we had to wait for about 10 mins. When we finally have all the people on board, the tour guide was not happy and said I am petty and will remember who was late. Next time I will not wait for you.
In my opinion, our tour guide was somewhat dishonest too. There were several times he told tourist we would go to this Chinese buffet (optional/self-pay) and the food there is very good. We felt for that several times and felt that the food there was below average. Of course, the tour guide collects cash from the tourist and made some profit there. There was another time the tourists have to fill out the form for optional item for Las Vegas (such as night tour/ High Roller/ Shows etc). We had received similar form prior going to the trip and it had the night tour and high roller in separate category. However on the form the tour guide provided, he had these 2 items combined together. When we asked if we can just join one of the item he said we could but would not recommend it. He then took the form from us (we had prefill it as we did not know we could just pick one) and he continued with the next tourist.
The bus driver was not very professional either. At one attraction where there was sand on the ground and we had to walk for about 30 mins, after the walk, we took off the shoes and clean off the sand. Once we were on the bus, I noticed there was still some sand in the socks so I just cleaned it up on the bus. A few attractions later, the bus driver came to me started yelling Chinese having sand on the floor. How could you yell at anyone especially a paying customer? Even if the customer is in the wrong, you do not need to yell at customer
Our tour guide started collecting the service charge (tips) on the fourth day of the trip (our trip was for 7 days). I am guessing he collect the service charge since some of the tourist had a shorter trip. To me, you should not collect the service fee until the trip is coming to an end. At the very least, I do not think the tour guide deserve the $8/day/person tip.

If you do not understand chinese, the tour guide is useless. His english was so terrible, we did not understand a word he said. Therefore, I feel that the 10$/day/person service charge is just money down the toilet.
The hotel was ok... a 3 star hotel, nothing more.
Transportation was with a worn down bus, very dirty and old. Not much more to say here.
The itinerary has a lot of loop holes. In our case, we went to see the Grand Canyon on a very foggy day. They knew that nothing would be visible from that morning, but they still went on with the trip of a 90$/person foggy and not at all visible Grand Canyon. Again, money thrown away on nothing.
The tour guide lacks of punctuality.
After booking online, for all other payments on the bus to the tour guide, we did not receive any receipts. None.
As I am writing this, we are stuck in a god awful mall, with no heating and nothing to eat, the one in Primm for more than 2 hours. Again, they should have checked if highway 15 is closed before leaving the hotel. This is very traumatic for us.
I will start a complaint and try as hard as I can to get a refund for this awful experience.
As a conclusion, I would NOT recommend this trip to anyone, not even my enemies.

We have a terrible experience with this company! Unfortunately we have to inform you that we will file a complaint on your company.
The company not associated with a company that provides services to transportation and accommodation at the hotel, and the ROOMS in the hotel BOOKED ON OTHERS NAMES!!!
3 days we could not get through to customer service, and support staff, he said that can not do anything.
We are very disappointed with this poor-quality service that are committed to other people to tell about it in social networks.
As a result, we were forced to pay $ 100, not to be left without an overnight stay or forgotten somewhere on the road in the desert.

One the worst tour that I have been to. Signed up the tour with "Take Tour". If I know that take tour is engaging west coast holidays, I would not have take the tour. I was on the 12 Days Yellowstone, Mt Rushmore, Antelope Canyon, Las Vegas from San Francisco tour. Itinerary is 70% accurate. Places like Yosemite Half Dome, Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam is not covered. For the San Francisco City tour, Chinatown is not covered. Basically, there is a mandatory fee and it is for some of the attractions, if they did not charge that fee, it could be likely that they going to skip it. The mandatory fees include $10 each for : horseshoe bend, Mt Rushmore, Grand Teton, Salt lake, Devil Towers, Crazy Horse. Take note that all these attractions are actually free of charge and they are charging each person $10. They simply just want to make the tour looks cheap then with initial payment then include additional fees which ends up not cheap at all. Next for tour guide, there are total of 6 different tour guide for these tour that I am with. Larry, Sam, Alan, Arron, Danny and Ariel. Of all of them, Sam is the worst. Went up the tour bus, did not give information on the next stop and start sleeping on the bus with body lying on two seats and pillow. Seems like he is prepared to sleep on the tour bus. Paying tips for this kind of guide is ridiculous. Arron provide information that are not clear and his English is unproficient. The rest of the tour guide give basic intro and when you reach the attractions, you are on your own. Alan gave false information on grand Teton saying that it is the paramount picture logo. If you do a google, it is in fact Ben Lomond Mt. And, when pass by a Pride day festival, he said that is a Gay and Lesbian Festival. Accommodation is usually airport hotel or inn of the cheapest they can find. A lot of time is wasted for the 12 days tour as it is a combination of multiple tours. Changing bus and fetching people resulted in lots of time wastage which causes time insufficient for attractions.

Worst trip ever! Where is the 0 or negative star option? After arriving in the US, we were sold to a SoCal local travel agency called West Coast Holidays, which was the start of our nightmare. I summarize our terrible experiences below. Please AVOID this rip-off agency.

1. After departing from LA, the tour guide told us to have a rest before enjoying the view of pacific west. Then he fell asleep without any description of the view. 2. After we got on the bus, the tour guide stated that every passenger would have the chance to sit in the front, middle and back of the bus for the sake of fairness. But in fact, our family of 5 (including my 85-year-old grandmother) sat at the bumpy back for 3 days. Since we did not buy the optional activities from the tour guide, he took a revenge on us by arranging the seats. More than 10 other tourists suffered similarly like us who also did not purchase optional activities, including a 5-year-old girl and her family. We went to negotiate with the tour guide. He claimed that he was doing a fair job in the seat arrangement and the front seats were assigned to people who paid them. Nobody in our bus has paid for any amount of money for front seats. Are you kidding me??? 3. Have you seen anyone charge you service fee before any service? Well, this tour guide charged us the service fees for 3 days non-optionally at the end of the 2nd day. 4. Two tourists on our bus wanted to confirm with their agency before paying any fees to the tour guide. Guess what happened? The tour guide threatened to not give them the hotel room key in the evening!!!

I want to say; it is absolutely not tolerated to let seniors and children get car sick and vomit. It is also outrageous to use any fees to threaten tourists, which may be against the law. Hopefully this rip-off company will face the sanctions of law very soon. For the tourists who had similar experiences in the past, please make your voices heard. Our silence will just create more victims, who can be our relatives or friends.

The tour guide was horrible and she uses fake name every tour to avoid bad reviews. (During our trip her name was Rebecca and on the previous trip she used her name as Alice). My issues
Fake Rebecca tried to sell more tours to me and I refused to buy those and caught on her lies. She made my tour horrible experience.
1. She always assigned me back seat of the bus.
2. Give me a room with the toilet don t flush properly and room at construction zone and banging noise all night long.
3. No customer service and bloody attitude.

West Coast Holidays it s the worst tour company that I ever see. The driver is rude and stupid, don t help anybody to get in / get out of the bus, neither with your suitcases. The guide is OK. The first hotel is fine, just like description in the itinerary but the second one, no!
I never see any tour charge you before the tour for the tips! They charge you before the tour, so you are obligated pay everything in advance. Even if you don t wanna do something you had to pay. I didn t see any point about to stop in Apple Inc. and Berkeley university, just wasted time.

This company s service is so horrible, they left their tourist on their own with idea and we spent most of our time on the tourist bus. In addition, they didn t even allow the tourist to use the bathroom unless you were dying. After the whole day has ended they tell you that you need to pay a service money even though they just left the tourist there. Please everyone don t go to this company it will be your worst nightmare.

I am writing this reviewed based on my experience during the 3 day San Francisco and Yosemite bus tour from Los Angeles Dec 26-28, 2019. Over all the tour was a good value for the price we paid, however, I experienced the following customer service issues that need immediate improvement.
1. Our pickup location was the Lincoln Hotel in Monterey Park. There were two other tour buses at our pickup location from a different tour company that caused a lot confusion.
2. There was no tour company liaison at our pickup site to make sure everything went smoothly.
3. When our bus arrived, it was 20 minutes late, the pickup time was 715am, the bus arrived at 735am. I tried calling the tour provider (West Coast Holiday) to find out the status of our bus and no one answered the phone.
4. When booking my tour on May 20, 2019, the take tours website stated book early for VIP seating. I booked early to get the VIP seats, which were confirmed on my itinerary as seat #3, 4 (two front seats). Once on the correct tour bus, I asked our tour guide Hinson about my VIP seats only to be told that someone else paid $10 more per day more to get those seats. We were given seats 11 and 12 for the first day and seat 27 and 28 on the last day. The tour guide also said that everyone was a VIP. The VIP seats early booking was a total lie.
5. During the tour, the entire tour group was given different seat assignments daily (accept the person that paid $10 more per day). When I asked the tour guide why we changed seats everyday he said it s was to give everyone a better view. Well if they wanted a better view, they should have booked their tour early like I did to get a good seat, a VIP seat that I was promised and never received.
6. The last night of the tour we stayed at the Merced Inn& Suites which was an old, out dated hotel. Our room floor was dirty and need to be vacuumed.
7. The bus was out dated and had no USB ports.
8. The driver drove to fast on mountain roads.

The tour is advertising for Yosemite National Park but the tour guide used all sort of excuses to divert the program, we ended up visiting a winery. The national Park Service offical site shows road open and small chance of snow late in the afternoon. There are optional tour for Aquariium and cruise, when we decided to not taking these tours instead to have some free time ourselves, the guide was not happy and a bit pushy.

We have joined a tour to Yellowstone organized by West Coast Holiday in Jun 2017 for 9 days. The tour guide Lavia Nam has tried to convince us to join an expensive boat trip but number of people cannot meet the minimum the tour cannot be organized.
Lavia Nam has taken a nasty step to shorten all our sight seeing time from one hour to 20 mins and Lavia Nam even do not take us for lunch. Lavia Nam has totally ruin our holiday.
Though we have made written complaint to West Coast Holiday but do not receive any response from them. It sounds to me that West Coast Holiday do not discipline their tour guide and no guideline for the trip arrangement . The tour guide just treat customer as a fool.

You don t deserve to be stressed when you re on holiday. This tour has the filthiest buses, rudest guides and biggest rip offs you will ever experience. If you don t want hidden fees, buses that smell like toilets and are never cleaned throughout the duration of the tour, stressful tour guides who barely speak English, STEER CLEAR OF THIS SERVICE. This is a public service announcement. I don t usually post but feel it a duty to let people know, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUIN YOUR PRECIOUS HOLIDAY. It almost felt like torture and I was just waiting for it to end.

The bus ride was long from Las Vegas, but all accommodations were made for us -- comfort breaks, videos timed perfectly between stops -- and the guide/driver was wonderful. I very much appreciated the different activity level options for the tour, the phone charging stations on the bus and all the thought that went into making this a meaningful day.

Bad review! This is the worst tour group we have ever participated in. The reception of Zhongxin Tianyi Travel Agency has left us a very bad impression. Alice, the US tour guide, is not only unprofessional and disrespectful, but also treats tourists very badly. It should be pointed out that this is not a six-day regiment, but a patchwork of two three-day regiments. The two regiments are different coaches with different guides. The tour guides in the Mexican section are still very detailed and vivid, but they are both hard-working as a tour guide and a driver. There are also security risks. In addition, the travel agency only arranged a small passenger car. Although everyone had seats, but did not fully consider the baggage placement, and finally the space between the aisle between the seats and the space between the driver and the co-pilot was forced to solve the problem. . Every time you get on or off the car, you must unload your luggage before you can get in and out. All visitors have only one boarding baggage as required.

Terrible service. Air conditioning in the bus broke down, and we were forced to sit in 110+ degrees Fahrenheit temperatures for the whole day. Tour guide and company has absolutely no regard for their customers, not even once considering replacing the bus or sending another one out. At the end, the tour guide even dared to ask for tips. This was the LA Tour Bus #3718, 8/29/17. Obviously didn't get any from me, and I urge all potential customers to never give these guys your business.

Tour guides were unclear, and can't speak English well at all. Don't even considering joining this if you're not a Mandarin speaker. Almost all tour guides don't speak Cantonese.

Every day we would stop at Union Station to transfer, literally forcing us and our luggage on the street for an hour to wait for a transferring bus. This is literally the most inefficient way to do business. I came here to enjoy a vacation, not fool around on the street transferring.

All in all, don't even consider booking with this company. Many of their customers are from China, which whom I sympathize with since they won't have anywhere to complain or most likely won't see this review, but please:

biggest scam. the tour guide peter relied on his lack of communication skills in both English and mandarin to stress passengers into spending money. he would belittle and abuse the passengers, calling them idiots and retards and muttering under his breath when people called him out for his immature and arrogant behaviour. when talking about the itinerary and costs, he was extremely evasive and at almost all costs refused to give the passengers information. it is unbelievable that a man expected such egregious amount of money for such a horrible experience.

Canyon was great. Bus ride and stops could be better.
We traveled to south rim on Dec 24. The bus was comfortable and driver was nice but after a while, it was obvious the drive was becoming tedious and tiring for the driver. For a ride that long it would make sense and be safer for everyone.

Our first stop was Subway and that was fine as it was really a snake and bathroom break.

The stops at the Canyon were great. The stop was Mather point which was great. And we had plenty of time to wander around and away from the crowds to take in various sites.

All in all, a very long day but the stops at the Canyon were great for us having never been there before. The driver also was very informative and showed a couple movies just to pass the time.

Worst tour company. If you are not from China, please please please do not choose anyone of those Chinese tour companies. They only love money. Forced people to pay tips, forced people to eat their super overcharged Chinese buffet! So little introduction for land view and local culture. Made me feel sick everyday to see those tour guides' ugly faces.

4 seniors travelled with this agent. The tour guide told them to wake up at 4am and don't be late to gather at 4:50 am. The bus did not leave hotel until 7am!!! There was no apology nor Explanation. Guide was rude.

We emailed the agent and they refused to admit there was such incident.

I strongly suggest not to travel with this agent.

The four old people got up at 4 in the morning because the tour guide said that they would leave at 4:50. The result was only 7 o'clock, the tour guide was very rude, and there was no apology or explanation, only various excuses.

I would only recommend this tour if you speak mandarin, otherwise you won't be able to receive the full experience. I only booked this tour because the site says it would be in English and Chinese. However, during the trip the tour guide would talk for 30 min in Chinese and say 1 sentence in English. I felt like I missed out on the history and rich culture of places we visited because it was not translated.

At the end of the trip the Tour Guide will ask you to fill out a survey; however it's not anonymous and they're glaring down your back when you fill it out so obviously they're only going to receive positive feedbacks. I would recommend that they do anonymous questionnaires to get REAL feedbacks from customers on how to improve their service.

As for transportation, we were picked up at the designated location but when we were dropped off they claimed they weren't going back to where they picked us up initially so I was dropped off 15-20 miles from home. I ended up taking an Uber back.

Overall, this tripped was well planned out. I would say go for it if you speak Mandarin.

It can't cease to amaze me how this company turned a 3-hour bus trip from Las Vegas to LA into a 12-hour disaster. Was the longest and most expensive trip in my life probably. No refunds, couldn't force myself to waste another 5/6 vacation days on this disaster called a tour.

Terrible experience, terrible service, terrible cleanliness. Do not book a tour from this tour agency especially if you do not understand mandrian they do translate the time allocated at each attraction to English but it is often not well translated and very unclear. The company is more like a transportation provider as they merely transport us from one place to another with no information of place idk man but I don t think it s supposed to be like that??? There are many unsatisfactory moments but basically they do not handle things well and they are really really rude (we forgot our luggage and the guide started scolding us and when we commented that his attitude is bad he cursed at us?) some tour guides are ok but most are pretty terrible.

I m from Indonesia. We had a fantastic day on this tour and our tourguide was great! You do spend a lot of time on the bus but it is a fairly long way from the Strip to the Antelope Canton so you have to be prepared for that. Tourguide kept us informed all along the way and we always knew what was next and how long it would take. The other stops along the way were fun and interesting and of course the canyon itself was breathtaking. I highly recommend this tour as a great way to spend a vacation day in the area!

They absolutely ripped my parents off. My parents do not speak English, so there are limited selections for me to book them a tour. Unfortunately, we got involved with this company. They collected tips for the scheduled tours even before the tour began regardless of the quality of their services, which was none. There was a 3-day tour where my parents were on for only 2 days but the guide still charged them tips for 3 days. They weren't even there on the 3rd day. Also, they overcharged them all the entrance tickets to every tour site, demanding cash only no receipts. I can go on and on but the point is, I hope there's karma for these people. If you don't have to send your families and friends or even yourself on their tours, DON"T. They will financially cost you a bunch so as mentally.

We joined an 8 day tour with this company to go to Las Vegas, antelope canyon and San Francisco. This agency is very disorganized. We had to change to a different bus every day and we had 4 different tour guides over the course of the week. On the first day, we had a guide named Gary. He was dishonest and told us that if we paid the $90 fee to go to the west rim, there is nothing to see unless we sign up for the helicopter ride/ boat ride which is another $233USD. He told us we would be wasting our time there if we don t sign up for those additional events so we signed up but it turns out there were lots to see even without paying for the extra activities.

On the day that we went to west rim Grand Canyon, we had a tour guide called Hannah. She was very rude and disorganized. The day we went was windy and one helicopter company that we got signed up for cancelled all reservations. We tried to ask Hannah what will happen and if we will get our money back but she just walked away and ignored us. She later found another company called sun dance that was willing to fly that day but said we had to wait an hour before it was our turn. At that time it was 11am but we only get to spend 3 hours at the Grand Canyon as she said we must get on the bus exactly at 2pm or the bus will drive off. We couldn t go into the park with under an hour so we waited at the sun dance office until 12pm. At that time, no one had called us so I approached the front desk to ask when it was our turn as we were promised an hour wait time. The lady at the desk told me it would be another hour wait because Hannah didn t register us yet. How can a tour guide be so irresponsible and disorganized? She wasted our valuable time. We were then booked for 1:30pm and she said we can go in the park to look quickly but must come back exactly on time for the helicopter ride or else we would miss it. We were so rushed inside the park, we didn t have a good experience at all. We finally got to take the helicopter ride but overall, didn t have the most ideal experience if our first hour wasn t wasted because of Hannah s poor planning. Another couple on our tour had it worse. They waited an hour like we did and Hannah didn t sign them up even after we all paid her in full on the bus prior to arriving at the canyon. They then got booked for the ride after ours at 1:30pm. These are basic duties of a tour guide. I felt sorry for the other couple as they did not get the opportunity to take the helicopter after we went on ours at 1:30pm due to the weather conditions. In essence, that couple wasted their only 3 hours at the canyon and saw nothing that day.

The majority of tourists (asians) on the bus were not happy with their service either but they only complained to each other and were too afraid to speak up or confront the guide directly. However, there was a spanish speaking mother and daughter that joined this tour as well. They were very upset and help everyone advocate and challenged Hannah. Half way during the tour, Hannah refused to let them on the bus and kicked them off because she claimed that they were causing "too much drama".

Bottom line: I advise not to join this agency if you want to have a good vacation experience.

Tour Guide had to explain in English cos I don t understand Mandarin.
And thankful that the tour guide convinced me for a city tour in Vegas as I will not find out the fountain show by myself.

Tour Guide will change per daily basis, they are all timely and inform me where to be picked up whenever we are dropped off for our activity.

Tour guides are also minding the cleanliness of the bus which is good (only bottled drink in the bus).
I read other posted reviews and I noticed if its a girl tour guide they are rude, luckily all my tour guide are men and explain to me or the group whats next step.

DO NOT BOOK tours from this company (ESPECIALLY online).
Problem #1: Our tour guide had to leave at the last day so we were transferred to a tour guide named AMY from mainland China (average height, short hair bob that is evenly cut, a bit chubby). For brunch, she took us to the Buffet@Asia located in the Silverado Ranch Plaza in Nevada. We did not want to eat buffet so decided to wander around the plaza and hopefully find a restroom to use, as the next drive would be to the Barstow Outlet (151 mi away, around 2.5 hours). We went into GNC and Amy had the audacity to come with us and inform the manager that we were part of her tour and she will be getting a commission on the things we buy. We left the store and decided to go to Target to shop and use the restroom. Amy came to us and said why go to Target, it's not open and there's nothing to shop around. It was 9:30 in the morning on a Sunday - Target is definitely open and there are definitely things to shop for (evidently she does not get commissions from Target). She treated us like we're not locals so beware! After brunch, I confronted her politely regarding her behavior and she started YELLING at me and pretended not to know what GNC was. I pointed at the store and she walked in the other direction and said "I don't know what GNC is. I don't know what you're talking about." At that point, it was close to a yelling match and I walked away. But man was a pissed and so I'm writing this here to try to prevent this from happening again. 2nd incident: when we got off the bus at the end of the day, Amy got into a fight with another passenger on the bus. Right before we stepped out, she said, "Who gets into a fight with the tour guide?!" EXCUSE YOU. Who gets into a fight with your passengers?

Problem #2: We were told the admission fee was $170/person for the 7-day tour (Antelope, Horseshoe Bend, Monument Valley, Arches, Yellowstone, Salt Lake City, Free Airforce Museum in Utah, Bryce, Zion, Las Vegas, Free Chocolate Factory, Barstow Outlet). However, once the bus left, we were told it was $215/person (additional $45 for the Monument Valley Jeep tour). All 36 tourists (booked via agencies and online, myself included in the former) did not know about this and had to produce this cash to attend Monument Valley as the attraction requires you to have a car or join the Jeep tour. People who did not pay basically did not experience Monument Valley, despite paying the admission fee for this. Zhongxin Tianyi - West Coast Holidays ( ) did not inform their customers before letting them book the tour and that's just not right.

Problem #3: We stayed at Rodeway Inn in Salina, UT for a night. Our beds and another passenger's beds had hair all over and were not changed nor made. I checked Expedia and for 2 people, it was only $60 that night. It was a 1.5 star. I am not extravagant and tend to book Motel 6 because it's the cheapest when I go on my own trips, but this is just a new low, especially when you paid Zhongxin Tianyi - West Coast Holidays ( ) for the hotels and you wonder how much they are making behind the scenes.

Other Problems (that I'm assuming are consistent with all Asian tours):
1. They will take you to buffets most of the time: tour guides get commission from this and if you don't go eat there, they will give you a dark look or will try to make your trip hell (like in my case).
2. At Las Vegas, we stayed pretty far from the strip (at the Stratosphere). Fabulous casino. The tour guides will then try to sell you night tours ($35/ person was the going rate.) The tour guide also tried to sell us the Las Vegas shows for more than what you can get online. I checked. The water show was only $135 and they were selling it for $170. Talk about bonus!
3. If you only understand English, this is not for you. They are not that fluent in English and will explain the highlights in 2 sentences. You would be missing a lot of history and background of the attractions/city. There is no translator - only the tour guide.

Ripping off customers on San Francisco tour trip. Bus driver drove very fast and furious, barked like a dog and did not drive us to Silicon Valley. Did not drive or take us on city walking tour and did not get chance to shop around fashion outlets or shopping mall. Not ideal to go on this tour trip and tour guide not friendly at all. Bus driver loves idling the engine very time he parks the bus at every destination, very dopey driver who does not know any word of English when we ask a question but responds in Chinese language.

The tour guides are very unprofessional! Everyday they sent us a new tour guide and one woman guide named Amy had very bad temper. She even cursed the old couples in front of all people in the bus!

If you choose to travel around 10 days, don't choose this one. Every day fight group, change guide every day. Individual tour guides are also very irresponsible. After receiving the money, nothing happens.

My parents paid for the entire trip and have their itinerary but the tour guide who only caters to Chinese people said he has no record of their payment and charges them for everything. For example the cost for the Yosemite park fee is $10 per person but he charged them $80. What these fools don t know is I m a lawyer and will fill a lawsuit against west coast holidays!! I don t do reviews but this has to be done. I am saddened to learn that there are people who would scam their way to make a few bucks costing reputation. It s so sad to see! This company is a scam and they need to train up their tour guides who don t have people skills!

We are in the middle of 6 day tour with them. Our tour guide Rebecca has been unprofessional and money-faced. You can see that after I refused to take part in their planned activities in Las Vegas because my parents and I didn t want to do the tour ($35pp) and see any shows (>$150pp). Now she s become unresponsive to our questions and she even made it apparent trying to avoid me (literally ran around me and went to another side as she saw me waiting to ask). What s more- our first night with the tour consisted only collecting the hotel access cards and she had the audacity to charge us for the service fee ($10pp). I didn t realise the service charge was for that five minute encounter with her until the following day. Where was the service? You can see this company is all about the money and not about giving people experience they deserve when they come on holiday.

Avoid this Rebecca and the company please. Even if you re Chinese, avoid it at all cost because they just want your money and don t treat like a proper human being.

I am ready to quit this tour as I have four more days with them.

In all fairness, we can't say all West Coast guides are unprofessional, our tour which ended on 23Sept 2019 used a few guides, have no complaint of Guide Gary and King, they handled the tour proffesionally, the only regret is their Los Angeles City Tour handled by a third Guide, a ripped off. We paid USD90+10, not worth a Dollar. Can we ask for a refund??

We r in the tour day 4 from saint Francisco to LA . It is tour given by very law level. The hotel are very old and motels are very dirty. Hotels are dirty and cheap. There is no breakfast and leaving at 6 am. We had one good tour guide Peter but difficult to understand him. Second guide was very abusive verbally and shouting constantly. I don t know if he didn t understood English but he was such a bully on the travel. His name is Bill . I called the company and reported his behavior to customer service Ken. But Bill s behavior till the end was very strange and loud. After all he came at the end of the trip and demanded tips 10$ per person.
I am in shock this company hire tour guides who has no interest than making money. Santiago day tour was mainly 15 minutes at old town with rest stop with restroom lines we saw nothing. At cruise, museum and lunch , he gave 2.50 hours. Famous Belbone park we got 1.10 minutes and he was refusing to give sceanic tour. It was waste of money, time and aggravation with this tour guide Bill.

If I could, I'd give less than 1 star. First of all, the bus was 35 minutes late, and they didn't even let us know it wasn't going to be on time. Once it arrived and I got to my seat, it was covered in crumbs. The bus also smelt absolutely horrendous I'm wearing a mask right now as I'm typing this on the bus. A lot of people (including the guide) on my tour happened to smoke, and so that added to the stench. This tour is more suited toward Chinese people, so I would avoid it if you are unfamiliar with their culture. To top it off, our guide talked rather loudly in Mandarin for the first hour of the trip, which was extremely irritating if you wanted to relax and listen to music. He continued to do this after our first rest stop as well.
Overall, I would not take this tour again. The cleanliness was virtually nonexistent and if I wasn't breathing shallowly right now to save my sense of smell I might've given more stars.

10-day tour with 7 different guides. They kept asking us to switch buses and different people sitting beside us every day. All the hotels they found were likely the cheapest ones they could find, with some 1-star hotels where rooms were smelly with dirty bedding. Every night our biggest wish was to escape from the hotel. Worst of all, they inflated the admission of all the sights where they overcharged us even some sights were free of admission fees. One of our stop was at Las Vegas. Ridiculously they charged us additional $35 per person for the city tour. Didn't we pay the tour fee up front just to have a guided tour throughout the trip? For the meals, they brought us to overpriced Chinese buffet restaurants and failed to mention other options. Luckily in the end we realized other restaurants around the areas and avoided being ripped off. If you don't want your vacation to become a nightmare, stay away from them.
