My wife and I drove down from Savannah, Georgia to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary. We decided to drop in and ordered dinner. First clue was the extremely filfthy glass the waitress brought me with chewed crab meat inside the bottom of the glass and a greasy film floating on the top of the ice. After 30 minutes she came by and I asked her for a replacement cleaned glass. That took her 20 more minutes. Then our orders weren't even hot when they made it to the table. My wife orders shrimp, scallops & fried okra and I ordered fried flounder, corn on the cob and a side order of sausage with a side salad as did my wife. The salad came in about 55 minutes in a very small bowl along with a very small amount of dressing. Finally the good arrived and it was just thrown on the plate like an afterthought! Presentation was not in good taste. She had 5 small bitesize shrimp and 5 scallops about the size a quarter and the fried okra was thrown in the plate. As for my order of Flounder it wasn't seasoned at all just fried with a coating and put on the plate. We asked the waitress for what they were charging we should have received enough food to at least now have to stop at McDonald's on the way home because we were still hungry. The sausages tasted freezer burnt and the Italian salad was nothing but Olive oil and some oregano. Not a place I'd recommend for anyone who is looking to be wowed for good food and customer service. The only thing I was wowed over was the expensive bill for such a poor quality of food! I didn't eat the sausage and corn because they both were not in good taste, but someone else probably did they just didn't know it? So disappointed with the manager who came to our table talked really fast didn't listen to our complaints and quickly moved on away from our table as if to say pay your bill and get the he'll out. Can you say the only tip they got was written on the receipt # FOR $50.00 YOU SHOULDCLOSEDOWNREGROUP&STARTOVER!
WILL NOT BE RETURNING EVER FOR A REPEAT EXPERIENCE! VERY DISAPPOINTED The Manager was not concerned about our service! Nothing was crispy nor was it good food! Very poor service and he didn't even attempt to correct the obvious issues with plating! SMH, but McDonald's came through! They have a great fried fish sandwich and the fries were awesome too!

I had a great steamed seafood bucket while waiting for my wife to get a facial next door at Simply Your Spa. The staff was very pleasant and friendly, and the food was good. I'll be back with friends!

Great food. Crablegs were awesome, country fried steak was perfect, gravy was divine. Absolute STAR of the show was the Key Lime Pie which is home made, in-house daily. Service was great, server was very personable and helpful, can't remember his name though.

The food is bland and tasteless. The shrimp and grits are not good! They're dry grits with no flavor. They're actually the worst we've ever had at a restaurant. The fried seafood plater was okay but it needed hit sauce for flavor and the rice was cold and stale. Peanuts are the best thing they have, seriously.

The lady working the bar was very nice. For the most part, the food was good. Although, I didn't care for the hush puppies. I will say, if you are ordering take out, check your order carefully before leaving. After an hour drive, we opened our plates to find our oysters were not included, nor was a side of cole slaw in the bag. Not a happy camper after paying 61.00.

This place used to be really good, but has gone down hill. I wouldn't be surprised if it shuts down in the next few years. It's nice, however, that there always seems to be tables available. In the long run, I think it's too expensive for the quantity and quality of food you get.

I thought the staff was very pleasant. I cannot remember the young lady's name who took the order, but she was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. Oh yeah, the shrimp and grits were delicious. Definitely, will be going back.

Probably not going back. We just moved to Charleston and very much look forward to trying all the incredible restaurants here. To start I asked for what seasonal beers they had, but said I was good with a ShockTop if they didn't have any. Waiter said he'd check with the bar to see if they where out of their seasonals. Waiter never said anything else about beer, simply brought me a ShockTop. We ordered hush puppy appetizers (we have two young boys so we always do appetizers to keep them satiated). Waiter forgot to bring the hush puppies. He didn't return until our dinner was served at which point we reminded him about the hush puppies. I would give the Shrimp-and-Grits a 3/5, it was okay. My wife's crab cakes were a 2/5. After asking for and receiving the check, we waited almost as long as it took us to eat dinner for the waiter to return to take our card. Not what I expect for a $70 dinner.

I had a fried oyster plate that I thought was pricey. Compared to a local favorite restaurant, it was average. I probably could have cooked better oysters at home, but they were fresh and tasty enough to eat, though slightly over cooked (I might have seasoned them more). My daughter's crab salad was so full of grit that she couldn't eat it. She refused to point it out and cause any trouble. But she won't be back, I guarantee. Son's fish looked good. Everything was a little pricey, IMO. Pretty nice atmosphere for celebrating/drinking, etc. Waite staff was cordial.

There wasn't enough "bang" for the buck I got the snow crab and shrimp thing and there was 3 shrimp and just a little bit of crab. The food was really good, but if your truly starving I wouldn't come here.

My wife and I stopped in here to get our seafood fix while visiting Charleston. We ordered the crab stuffed flounder and the fried shrimp and crab cake combo. I'm not usually a fan of fried shrimp but the ones my wife got were hands down the best I've tasted, and they were huge. The flounder and crab cakes were delicious! Even the sides were great, especially the collard greens. The Key Lime pie hit the spot for dessert. The service was fast and friendly and the prices are fair for the quality of the food served here. We hope to come again soon.

If you ve never eaten seafood before then maybe you will think it s good. But as a seafood fanatic, I can honestly say I was disappointed by the quality of food . Not to mention the price. The seafood boils have no seasoning whatsoever. You can practically boil them yourself and it will probably taste the same or even better. And my brothers shrimp was so under cook it was still translucent. The service and the waiters were kind but the seafood is very over priced for eh quality of seafood.

Wonderful experience tonight for my daughter's birthday. They were more then accommodating for our large group. Delicious food, the crab legs were Fantastic. Attentive service with friendly servers. Overall very happy with our visit and we will definitely be back! Thank you. Gluten free options available. They use separate pot to steam the crab legs and shrimp.

Apparently they were shortstaffed on this day, but the staff did a great job and the food was amazing. Our order came out wrong at first but the manager did a great job and taking care of it. anybody can have a problem, but what really matters is how do you handle it when you do. Shrimp and grits were amazing, barbecue chicken was the special of the day and it was wonderful, and my son had the DD barbecue shrimp and crab salad sandwich. Unique and amazing. We were very pleased even with the small setback.

I was very excited to try this place based on so many people saying how good it was. I was utterly disappointed. The portions were small compared to the price. There was no seasoning in the food. My boyfriend actually ended up getting sick later that night. The staff was very slow and unpleasant. The restaurant was at half capacity and it seemed like they could not keep up. I was very disappointed and felt like I wasted my money and time.

A good seafood restaurant with more ambiance than most. The menu is a rather limited combination of shrimp, scallops, oysters and tilapia. A few other items as well, but with the food being good, if you like what they have you'll be pleased.

The crab balls and boiled shrimp were good; however, my dinner was a disappointment. My husband ordered a shrimp and oyster dinner. The portions of seafood were that of a kid's meal. The oysters were definitely the scrawniest I've ever seen.

This place has gotten really expensive. Anything with crab legs is so outrageously priced and $7 She crab soup. The frogmore stew doesn't even come with crab legs, Lord help us. The food was good but for what your paying the portion size is small. Expect to spend $20-30plus and 10-15 for a sandwich with one side.
