Awesome food and service! We celebrated our aunt's 70th B-day here and it was a great time!

Very cool building with lots of nice decor. We came in at lunch time and ordered a meal for 4 people. Hush puppies were amazing. Our food took awhile to come out but was good when arrived and all nice n hot

The food was good and good size portions plus our server was very friendly

Great atmosphere and it's kid friendly! I had the shrimp and grits and it was delish!

Favorite little local place. Laid back atmosphere. Great food. Friendly staff. Never a bad meal, but the Shrimp & Blue Crab Tomato Pie is my favorite

The crab dips, both warm and cold ones, had barely any crab so if I close my eyes, I wouldn't know it was crab dish. About $9 each. It's the first time that I see a restaurant uses shredded cheese in crab dip. Definitely tasted that cheese.
The seafood platter $23 ( scallop, shrimp, flounder was good.
Service was very good.

Great food. Prices are fine its seafood. If your seafood is cheap then it's probably not worth eating. Great service and was very clean. Seated immediately.

Was in Charleston for the weekend at Joyce Meyers conference. Was late and wanted to try this place and it was well worth it. Food was absolutely delicious and fresh and also great hospitality. Please don't change anything!

Oh my goodness!!! The food is a amazing!!! The fish and shrimp tasted fresh and delicious the crab cakes were heaven. Even the sides like the fried green tomatoes, fried okra, fries, and greens were incredible! The meals were so big we had to get to go plates and we are pretty excited about these leftovers :) we will definitely be back

The service here was a bit slow, but our server was pretty nice. I had the crab avocado salad, and it was okay but lacking in flavor. The shrimp and crab were good (nice and big, really succulent), and the sausage was amazing (highly recommend!!), and the corn was also really good. I would go again, but I wouldn't order the salad.

Great Lunch spot, generous portions, good prices and interesting surroundings. Deserves a weekend dinner opportunity, assuming it will not disappoint.

What a great experience. We are visiting from Chattanooga and came in for dinner. And Melissa was absolutely the best. She told us of all the drink specials and dinner specials. We had fried shrimp and crab cakes..it was amazing..Melissa also told us of local areas to visit which helped us plan our 5 day trip here in Charleston..WHAT A GREAT TIME..THANKS MELISSA..

Food is ready good, however there's one female blonde employee who is really a confused person and works very slowly.

My mahi-mahi taco was cold. Just like it came straight out of the refrigerator. I asked for sour cream for my warm (not hot) French fries and they gave me mayonnaise. So I sent it all back! Our waitress Stefani was exceptional though!

Good food, good atmosphere friendly waitresses, a good place to eat and relax.

The food was great and so was the service! Can't wait to go back, truly enjoyed it. Only thing negative I can say about it is that it can be a little bit to noisy at times, other than that a great place to eat.

It was amazing! Had a Cajun garlic parmesan butter boil with crab legs, shrimp, sausage, red potatoes, mussels, and corn on the cob, and it was truly delicious.
The waitress was very nice and knowledgeable.

Our first time in this area. Picked out this place and was not dissappointed at all. Nice staff and the very best shrimp n okra n she crab soup I've ever ate. Homemade key lime pie was awesome. Could have ate a whole pie lol it was that good !

First time being here and the food was excellent and FAST ! I'll be back again everyone was friendly .

The resturant had a bit of a hide-a-way look and feel. It was neat in appearance and well attended by locals. The food was good.

The food was barely edible. Definitely nothing special. Warm crab dip was okay, it needed some seasoning. Smashed potatoes was okay but killed by burnt gravy. She crab soup was uninspired with dry crab pieces and an unidentified item (looked like guts). Iced tea was undrinkable, it tasted like the teapot had not been cleaned in a while and the tea was a couple days old. Shrimp and grits was bland. Grilled shrimp was just seared on a grill with no seasoning. The prices were a bit high for the food you get.

Great casual dining with fresh seafood. It's a good choice when you want to avoid downtown Charleston prices.

We visited your West Ashley Crab shack for lunch and had a wonderful dining experience. We were served by Cameron who gave us such great service and the food was absolutely incredible.

Way too greasy. Kids' grilled cheese was a soggy greasy bread mess. My shrimp was overcooked and breading was soggy. I was unimpressed with the quality of the ingredients. Especially since we have the best shrimp here locally.

Just moved to Charleston and decided to try this place out. We were greeted and served by Henry, who was really nice. Upon arriving we also notice a big barrel of peanuts at the front. We weren't sure if we could just take them and eat them (like Longhorn's Steakhouse) so we asked; it turns out that yes, you can take as many peanuts (still in shell) and eat them as an appetizer before your dinner (for free). Who doesn't love free food? :)
Three of us got seafood, and there were no complaints except that wife my wish they used real butter instead of margarine in their seafood buckets/pans.
I got the "create you own burger" which turned out to be pretty good. I would go back and get it. What I appreciated was that they did not skimp out on the toppings. When I asked for jalapenos, there weren't just 5 slices, there were too many to fit on the burger (a good problem to have).
Another person in our party got their pecan pie, which he loved. So I may get that next time.
I plan on taking my parents when they come in to Charleston to visit.

Delicious! We got the hush puppies appetizer, she crab soup, and grilled shrimp. We left fat and happy. The service was great too. Carol was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu.

My husband LOVES the she crab soup and it was amaIng this time like all the others. Everything else was kind of awful. We ordered Mojitos that took over 15 mins to come out. Food that took over an hour to come and the poor waitress apologized the whole time. My youngest got burnt chicken strips. The waitress knew I was vegan and everything I ordered was a side dish appetizer, nothing new or a problem for me, but the Fried Green Tomatoes came out with cheese on them, the collards were swimming in bacon and the vegetables were all covered in butter. By the time it came out everyone was to hungry to care and ready to go home. My third child got the SMALLEST portion of popcorn shrimp I have ever seen. My husband was let down by the Frogmore Stew which has been millions of times more impressive before. It may have been an off day, I really hope, but it was a REALLY off day.

Incredible service and outstanding seafood, one of my favorites.

This place is a definite MUST try. It's a little out of the way but, oh, so delicious! We go here everytime we visit Charleston which is petty regularly. The shrimp and fish are incomparable! You will never leave here hungry as the portions are very generous. The waitstaff is top-notch as well.

My wife said the shrimp and grits were the BEST she has ever had. I got the bucket of crab, oysters, corn, potatoes, and shrimp. It was "good" not great. Overpriced in my opinion.
