I bought a used car from this garage, and my Sales Executive was Ayad Abdulla. He was helpful from the start, and was able to answer any questions I had about the vehicle. He was very accommodating, even when I needed to change my collection date multiple times. He went the extra mile by showing me how to set up the Bluetooth on my car before we drove away. Very good service, and I am pleased with the car. Thank you.

Little muss understanding with the nissan paperwork asked me to sort out seems like dealers cant contact each other, car runs smooth after the service but tyre pressures have been lowered so now reading under the recomended pressure, dash cam was disconnected at the camera connection as its behind the mirror couldnt see the wire hanging out , thats fine but should of connected back after the service , or just pull the plug thats plugged into the centre console ,

Just traded in our 11 year old Corsa for a 2 year old Nissan Pulsar - very happy with the level of service. Nick Whincup was so easy to deal with compared to some of the dodgy characters we came across when trying some of the other local dealerships - it really helped convince us to go with Nissan - that and just how spacious the Pulsar is! Highly Recommended!

Every staff member greeted us as they walked past throughout the duration of our visit. Bought a new MX5 from Wessex Garages, Bristol. James was extremely helpful throughout, from test drive to ordering and collecting. Car was initially a factory order, but available sooner than expected. James kept me updated, and sorted out outstanding issues from the car viewing before I was due to collect it, so there was no extra delay. Overall the whole process was simple, efficient and very friendly, a very good experience.

Never felt pushed into buying extras i didn't want, within 2 weeks I was driving my new car. Have recommended you to family and friends and already had a friend purchase a car though taylor.

We'd previously had a decent experience with Wessex Nissan when we bought our Qashqai from their Cardiff branch, however when it came to purchasing a replacement second car in the form of a Note, Daniel at the Pennywell Road branch stepped it up a notch and more than exceeded our expectations. We live near Carmarthen but knew the vehicle on offer was the right fit, so most of the work was done prior to visiting the showroom which made the process a lot easier. I understand he's fairly new to the branch, but what a hire! Being not at all pushy, polite, friendly and very accommodating of a whirlwind 3 year old in the showroom made for a pleasant transaction. He also provided us with a fantastic recommendation for dinner to boot! (The Gloucester Old Spot)
We shall definitely be looking to use the branch and Daniel again. (There's a Nissan dealer 2 minutes from our front door, and I'd still drive to Bristol!)

Really approachable people and a thoroughly good experience buying a used car from Wessex. They sourced exactly what I was after quickly and accurately, and walked me through the buying process with minimal fuss. Even delivered to my door late on New Year's Eve as I just couldn't get to the garage myself - thank you James, it was really appreciated! I saw a vehicle online and rang up to go in to see it, James who I spoke to on the phone greeted me and had already got the car ready and parked at the showroom entrance ready to have a look at it. The car was just as described and in really good condition with only 17K miles on it. James took me out in the car and then let me drive it back which was very helpful to see if the car the correct for me. James already knew that I was planning to go with a third party finance company which were offering me a pretty good price. James came back with a much better deal on the vehicle which included breakdown cover, Gap insurance, Extra 2 years warranty and their Nissan Premium care package so on the day put down a small deposit and then 4 days later went to pay the rest and drive away with the car. Along with this they done a full service on the car as well. Amazing dealer and was a pleasure doing business with James who helped me out a lot.

Dreadful dreadful customer service. Tried to get my Mazda 3 booked in as I had a tyre pressure sensor fault. Wasted a day where I was told someone would ring me back never happened. Next day tried again was told I would have a phone call back with in 5-10 minutes, after hour still no call. Rang again & shouted at someone who eventually put me through to the service department. They do exist! My warranty was due to expire at the end of March & a rude woman just said we cannot book it in for two weeks & your warranty will not be valid & I should of called when the light came on!! I told her I did but no one called me back! No offer of a resolution or anything. Also had an issue a few months ago with my audio system which I ended up sorting at another Mazda dealership as again no one called me back and I had to keep calling and was then told it is not a valid warranty issue. It was covered fully under warranty!
I have since booked in my car in with a helpful lady & service engineer at Johnson s Mazda in Swindon where I originally bought the car who have assured myself that even though the car is booked for the 3rd of April as I have booked it in before the expiry date of my warranty it will be valid & have booked me a courtesy car and where very helpful. Ridiculous that I have to keep going to Swindon but they are extremely helpful. Wessex Pennywell seem clueless & have no customer service. When they answer phone they just say hello Chris speaking ! They are just not interested.

As I write this my arguments with Wessex Garages are still ongoing.
It's nearly six weeks since I bought my Nissan Juke and reported several faults with the car which I required rectifying, obviously this isn't a great start from the company especially as the car had to be bumped start at the garage before I could take it home. However since then the I've had back hardly any correspondence in trying to resolve these other outstanding issues. I did though receive a very poorly constructed email which was obviously drafted very quickly without any thought of going into it or any apology of why their customer service was so poor. Additionally I did receive a phone call from someone called Ben who never introduced himself or his position within the company and that phone call which was pointless lasted probably a few seconds. Since then, the company of gone to ground and I've not heard anything from them in over a week now so firstly I've decided to resort to this to warn anyone of using this dealership to be wary of the sales pitches of this company, their quick enough to take your cash but then are not happy to follow any actions through once problems arise. Secondly I intend to have these matters resolved by the garage and then thirdly once I'm happy with any eventual outcome, I'll pay the credit agreement but will no longer use the services of this garage again. I've already put in place an alternative garage to cover my servicing and MOT requirements and will now put this experience down to not doing enough background checks on Wessex Garages, if I did then I wouldn't be needing to type this because I'd of probably found a more suitable car dealership. However to end this I'll set a small test to actually see if any of the management actually read these reviews and if so would any of them be polite enough to respond to my criticism of their shocking customer service and the poor level of aftercare service that I've so far received....

Terrible customer service. I first drove around to park in a disabled bay... all the bays were full and blocked by stock cars. So no, on site parking available. Road side parking was full,also with stock cars. When I drove inside to look for disabled parking, a man who worked there gave me the dirtiest look ever and I knew right then I shouldn't have stopped.
From the outside it looks a mess. When I went in I asked where the Nissan's were... the man Rudely said "they are everywhere" even though the showroom was only filled with Mazdas. I said, they aren't in here. He pointed outside and said, go out there and look. The Nissan's were dismal. The only new ones they had were quashqui and we were looking for the Juke. There were 3 old ones of the Juke. No one came over to assist us even though I saw 3 people who work there walk in and out of the showroom.
Overall, this place was terrible. It was far too rammed of cars, no one had good customer service and I will not return here ever again!

Workers are always racing in cars that are on sale going up and down to their other unit speeding on the main road. The salesmen dont have a clue about any car on the forecourt they read it all from an Ipad i think they hire anyone they can get as they are struggling. Went there on my 2nd visit and got told to leave as i wasnt buying anything what a joke.

I would recommend this garage very much. When I bought my Mazda everyone was very courteous and helpful - not pushy. James Winward was especially helpful and made the experience very easy and fun! I had to travel some distance to the garage but well worth it. Thank you.

Sent my used Mazda 6 there for three safety recall...

Sent my used Mazda 6 there for three safety recalls. All have been done without any problem. However, my windscreen suction cap mounted phone holder has been broken by mechanic. I have been offered replacement or some money back. I chosen replacement.
First I waited about 10 days, decided to call them. Could not reach anyone responsible. I've been promised a call back from manager, no one called for 2 days. I've been calling again and again, to no avail. Next day finally I connected to senior manager and was promised my phone holder soon. Waited another 7 days, they still haven't got it but promised act soon. Called again few days later they already had delivery from amazon scheduled for next Monday. I believe they just purchased it that day cause they knew I will not let it go.
That Monday I was already away on short holidays. I've collected my phone holder over 5 weeks after it has been broken. I wish I choose money back I would not had to go through this.
I appreciate support from their senior manager but truth is, they would never come back to me if I wouldn't have called again and again.

Rubbish experience having my car serviced here. The attitude of the people in there was one of it s Friday afternoon and I can t be bothered . Car had not been valeted (in spite of receiving text to say service had been completed) - agreed to wait for that to be done, only to be told that the person had gone home for the day. No information provided on the work done beyond the paper invoice. Given the key and told the car was round the side . Had to go back in and ask the person to actually show me where it was rather than pointing in a vague direction. Definitely won t be coming here again.

Hi after previously rating this place good and in the past having reasonably good service at ok price.
Now I feel that there's no interest in providing a well priced service


I then get informed that my service plan that I've been paying for the last 5 years is going to doubling, they informed that's because your car needs 2 major services oh but you will get a half-price Mot.
I know the price to get a car serviced at main dealer is always little bit more but the price of you're charging this will be the last time I will be seeing you I'm sure it's not going to make a great deal of difference to you as you've got plenty of other customers that you will be able to fleece and overcharge but I will not be one of them.
In fact after reading my review has made me so annoyed that when I I go to replace my car with a new one it will not be through Wessex Garages

One word.... SHOCKING. Me and my partner have been in two minds about our next car. We can't decide between the Nissan Juke Nismo RS or Mercedes A Class AMG. So we decided to go test drive both cars on different days. We were in town over the weekend so we decided to visit this garage to look at a 1 year old Nissan Juke Nismo RS that we had found on the internet. The car was actually in the showroom and we were greeted by a young lad who was very polite when another older salesman joined us and took over. We said we were interested in the car but wanted to test drive it to see what it was like to drive before committing to anything, the answer was 'that is fine, take a seat and we will sort out some trade plates and fill out some documents for the test drive'.



My partner was not happy and did express her disappointment to the salesman, It was a really big shame, because we really liked the car and the deal seemed OK and we probably would have come to some sort of deal to purchase the car, but unfortunately it the way it was dealt with was completely shocking and backwards to how buying a car should be.

Massive disappointment and shocking experience. I will never return to this garage.

My husband and I called into the Wessex Garage this morning ( Saturday 29 December) so I could test-drive a 7-year old VW Eos convertible, and possibly in part-exchange for my Nissan Micra. The sales team, led by Nick, could not have been more helpful or friendly. The car we bought was already in excellent condition, and was then given its MOT and valeted. We took her for a very successful test drive. All the paperwork was completed, with Georgina and Warren guiding us through the piles of paper to be signed.
Then Nick emptied all our possessions out of the Micra and transferred everything to the Els, without even being asked to do so. We were offered hot drinks. The facilities were spotless.
I would recommend very highly the team at the Wessex Nissan if you want your car-buying experience to be an efficient and friendly one.

I found something out just by pressing button's to...

I found something out just by pressing button's to see what they do and found out something very interesting about my Nissan Micra 2018 car there is a simble that looks like 2 speedometer "1 going up" and the other "going down" - click on the speedometer going up that's on the side of the steering wheel and soon as you click on speedometer going up towards the windscreen straight away click on the button with and "SET - " it will be set at 20mph but if you click on "RES +" you can raise the speed up for example from 20 to 25, 30 and so on if you constantly keep the button pressed down - but if you press the SET - Or RES+ doing separate clicks it will go up or down 1 number at a time for example 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and so on - - > so you can set your speed to 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70mph so you won't get any more fines - don't forget soon as your click on the speedometer that's - that's on the side of the steering wheel that's near the windscreen straight away click on the SET -
(and then set your relevant speed) also don't forget to click on "SET -" Or "RES+" to bring the speed up or down to the speed you want - so if its on 20mph and you need the speed at 30mph click on "RES+" to bring the speed up to 30mph and if you want the speed from 30mph down to 20mph just click on the SET- - - > you'll know what I mean cause putting photo's to show what I mean - - I've got the Nissan Micra 2018 "clean diesel" I was told the diesel cars that are clean diesel's are fine for the future via the dealer - just to let you know soon as you press on the speedometer button going up it will Show you the words "Limit On" straight away press on the "Set -" then set your speed.. Hope this has been helpful

You may see that Rachel replied asking for further information. I replied to her via email as requested. I was told I would receive and email from the garage with 24 hours. WELL, NOT A WORD FROM THEM 0NE WEEK LATER. Just goes to show the complete and utter contempt that Wessex Nissan have for their customers!!!! If you would like Oil in your car for its next service, DONT go to Wessex Nissan. No Oil, No Apology!

They only thing they manage was to steam clean the underneath. With excuses on all the rest of the work. Nissan should lower thier head. Wessex Garage Pennywell road ARE NOT WORTHY TO DISPLAY THE NISSAN LOGO. One unhappy customer.

From the very beginning, my experience with this garage was somewhat poor. Firstly, my car has been recovered to this Nissan garage, Pennywell, Bristol as the car was a non-starer. The garage doesn't offer a recovery service nor does it recommend one that you can use. This has been done independently. I have booked the car in for an initial hour of diagnostic and re-programming of keys (immobiliser light on). I believed this was the issue but I left it to the experts to diagnose. The car has been dropped in the morning as this was the arrangement over the phone when they said they will look at it first thing. A woman at the reception said that they will call me to say what's wrong with the car and if there is anything more, they will authorise with me first before going ahead. Standard stuff. The car has been with them the whole day. No phone calls, nothing. I've checked their opening hours and they're open till 18.00. Around 17.40 ( 20 mins would be enough for me to get there and collect the car), I decided to give them a ring to find out what's going on. I pressed 1 for servicing and listened to music for good 10 mins thinking they're busy or something. There was no message that the office is closed or anything. No answering machine, the music is on charging you every minute. Then I realised that Sales usually answer right away so I hang up and re-dialled choosing Sales dept. this time. After one signal a friendly man on the other side answered. At this time it would have been 17.55. I've asked to be put through to Servicing and he said they've finished work at 17.30. Really? They buggered off? I said, they haven't called, they left my car there, I don't known what's wrong with it, how much is it going to cost me etc. I don't have a car to go to work in tomorrow. The guy offered a courtesy car but then he's agreed it's too late and they are going home now. I'm not sure about the sales department, they sound reasonable but when it comes to servicing at Nissan, Pennywell, Bristol- it's totally shambolic! Also, a woman at the reception could do with some customer service training. Don't have to put up with her unfriendly attitude. Several attempts of negotiating a reduction in price have not been successful. Different managers, like mantra they have been repeating the same thing and have not listened to what I have said. The branch manager said: "I have made my decision, you are not getting any reduction". He was not accepting the fact his workers have not done what they said they will. Customers, be aware as you are dealing with a bunch of cowboys thinking they are more important than you because they have managed to pull a few sales. Wait until you come back when something is wrong with the car. That is how you see the real side of the business.

Great service but the cleaning of the interior was poorly done and they never even opened the boot as that's part of the service. The windows were dirty aswell. Looks like they only changed oil and filter.

The car is great apart from the drivers and passengers window do not remove any morning dew when opening them as the seals do not touch the glass. This is a new car and it's not good....
