Great vibes, good coffee, decadent pastries. No wifi or mirror in bathroom :/

Awesome cakes and croissants, the delivery service they offer is outstanding very easy to order and they bring it right to your doorstep. I highly recommend this place to everyone I know.

Anastasia and the team at Staij & Co Cafe were incredible. I was leaving town, and organized for a cake for one of my best friends' baby shower in my absence. I gave detailed instructions on the pink flamingo theme and what I was looking for in a cake - and they delivered and then some! I highly recommend them for their creativity, flexibility and reliability. The cake was a huge hit. I will definitely be using them again - they are my go to!

Nice spot with really tempting desserts. I had a nanaimo bar and I was pleasantly surprised by the big chunks of buttery walnut in the base. Would definitely get it again. I wasn't that inspired by the stark white decor and top 40 radio, but that's just me.

i ordered cupcakes from staij and co to surprise my boyfriend for his last day at work! honestly i ve never tried these cupcakes but found them on uber eats and i called the store three times asking for help. the staff was sooo friendly over the phone and extremely helpful as well! i found out that the cupcakes tasted so amazing and to quote exactly, they were the best cupcakes i ve ever had in my entire life! as a place that i ve never tried and using them as a first to surprise someone, i would have to say they fulfilled great service, excellent catering services and overall taste was amazing !!!

best coffee in toronto. Great people running this place. I love it and my 80 year old mother said it was the best macaroons she has ever tasted!

This cute little cafe must've been decorated by a minimalist: featuring all white everything, a clear glass chandelier and tiny gold utensils.

Stopped in on a quiet Sunday morning to warm up and tried their weekend special: a hot cup of cocoa with a huge Nutella marshmallow for $3.50. It was decadent and there was some Nutella at the end that didn't mix into the drink.

Did the trick and warmed me up! Will have to come back to try their homemade croissants.

Nice, but no wifi, and they play the radio, including the ads.

They have the best Cakes and baked goods. I have ordered from them several times, and have recommended them to all my family and friends. Best part, they do delivery for free in so many areas within GTA.

The pastries and coffee are very good, and the staff are very friendly. I think I got a slightly over-roasted batch of beans when I wrote my initial review, but this seems to be improving. I love the simplicity of the food!

Love this new cafe great coffee and the sweets are incredible, had a hard time deciding what to get so ended up buying 6 cupcakes and a cake, each one was better than the last! Can't wait to go back!

The hot chocolate here is incredible - it s almost like drinking a liquid dark chocolate bar with the just right amount of silky creaminess. Overall, a very classy vibe and a nice spot to enjoy a hot drink by yourself or with a friend.

Our wedding cake was a-mazing! Anastasia knocked it out of the park! Not only was it stunning, it was delicious!!!!!!

Meeting with Anastasia was easy and fun! The designing and tasting process was great! We ended up doing a cake with two flavours (it s so hard to pick one!) - carrot cake and lemon/raspberry.

Everyone was in awe!

Recieved the birthday cupcake package delivered to my door and they were soooo delicious!

Ordered two boxes of cupcakes from here after seeing their ads on Instagram and reading great reviews. The cupcakes were great tasting, however the salted caramel topping was a bit too sweet. The two boxes I ordered were separate dates which I wasn't aware of, and when I called and spoke with Anastasia I believe but not sure who was so kind enough to get my second box delivered the same day. Definitely will be ordering from here again in the future!

Bright, barren atmosphere. Quiet, top 40s played in the background.

Walking into this place is like a breath of fresh air! The staff is always friendly and the pastries are always fresh. The biscotti are my favourite! They have the best coffee in the neighbourhood hands down.

I stopped by here on my morning walk through beautiful Cabbagetown and it is safe to say that this is where I will be going for my morning coffee from now on!

I ordered a cake and it did not look how it was advertised. I even left a note on the order saying I wanted to make sure it looked exactly how advertised. The company did not respond when I contact them about the issue.

I ordered a cake for my bridal shower and wedding and was not disappointed. The quality and look was spot on. I had a great customer service experience , very friendly and polite owner & team . The cake was perfect for my special day , and my guests loved the flavour , I got the ferreror Roche flavour for my wedding , it was moist cake and a creamy rich flavour . For the bridal shower I got the raspberry lemon , it was refreshing and light ! Will definitely be back for future cakes :)

My husband and I got married this month (March 2020) and we were fortunate enough to have had our wedding cake made by Anastasia. We were connected with Anastasia through our reception venue (The Hazelton Manor). Anastasia was a delight to work with throughout the entire process. She offers a range of fun flavours that are sweetened to perfection - not sickeningly sweet nor bland. During our cake tasting, she provided us with such a generous serving of cake that we had a tough time finishing it all! Anastasia was super easy to communicate with via e-mail and she was always thorough and timely with her responses. She did an amazing job with our wedding cake and it turned out beautifully and tasted delicious! We had the vanilla bean and salted caramel cheesecake, which we highly recommend! She was extremely flexible to work with regarding florals for our cake and was willing to use flowers from our florist. The buttercream frosting was PERFECTION aesthetically and in terms of taste. Thank you so much Anastasia for creating such a beautiful work of art for our wedding day!

Most delicious cupcakes I've ever had. Fresh and perfect.

The service is alright. The place is cute and quiet .. Good for catching up with friends, studying or having a tea party. The cappuccino freddo was really good! However, the caramel pumpkin cupcake wasn't anything special.

Got these delivered this morning, pretty sure the owner delivered them himself. Both the quiche and the croissants were freshly made. Simply delicious!

A friend of mine ordered me a box of assorted croissants for my birthday! Came with 2 plain, 2 almond, and 2 chocolate/Nutella, and it was heavenly! So fluffy and with the right amount of crunch in the outer layers. Even just the plain one was so good! Couldn t eat it all in a day, but even the next day, after a few mins in the oven, they came back to life. So good. Definitely will try to go and get more and also try their cupcakes!

Super nice little hidden gem in Cabbagetown! The staff was super friendly and my Sloane tea was delicious. The space is very aesthetically pleasing, with seating both inside and outside. Would highly recommend if you re looking for baked goods or hot beverages in the neighborhood!

The opera cake and chai latte were so tasty, I definitely have to go back and try the lemon cheesecake bombe. Staff was very nice and the space is beautiful

For Mother's Day, I received a bouquet of flowers and a box of assorted croissants from my daughters. The flowers were lovely, with serene and delicate colours. The croissants were glorious. They were the best I have ever had in Canada. Staij is right to take pride in their creations - I've already ordered another box!

The cupcakes and macarons are to-die-for!!! You can tell they use good ingredients, and the texture of the cakes/frosting/shells are perfect (especially the coconut and the caramel one!!) Will come back again

You're guaranteed to find a delicious something to bite into on your next visit to Staij & Co. We found this place on our morning walk, and it can be really easy to miss - maybe a sign on the fence or sidewalk would help. When my mother was visiting, a woman who loves her Chai Tea Lattes, she said this place was the best she had ever tried. Their Toasted Coconut cupcakes were to die for, and they carry Sloane Fine Teas - a family favourite.

Want to take a moment and give some praise to this great team! We have been working alongside Anastasia and her team from Staij & Co. for years when she was first starting off her business. From day one, she was dedicated to pleasing her clients, and creating unique masterpieces. Her wedding and event cakes are fabulous! We highly recommend Staij & Co. for their amazing wedding and special event cakes and deserts. The macaroons are to DIE for!!!

Stumbled upon this gem while online and after seeing the pictures of cupcakes knew I had to order .. sent cupcakes to both of my sisters and was pleasantly surprised that local delivery was complimentary! The cupcakes were delivered the next day to both of my sisters before 10am! Thank you so much Staij & Co for making a couple or new Mom's 1st Mother's day extra special... can't wait to try your delicious treats one day myself :)

Ordered the butter croissants on line and they were the fluffiest and tastiest croissants ever! The presentation and care in the packing and attention to detail with delivery was awesome. So glad that I came across this bakery on Instagram....I am have placed an order for one of their signature cakes and can't wait to try it!

Very happy about the Mixed croissants, especially the Almond Croissants. Also the delivery service is so awesome, just in time in the morning, highly recommended.

Delicious macaroons! The seasonal thanksgiving treats were amazing!

We ordered our wedding cake from Staij & Co. and loved it! It was a 2-tier, half dressed, salted caramel cake, toped with macroons and flowers. It was both visually impressive and delicious! Thank you so much to Staij & Co. for your helping make our wedding day perfect.

This is a fabulous spot. Clean, streamlined interior that speaks to contemporary french urban-elegance. The selection of pastries are thoroughly first class and the cup cake flavors are unique and indelible. The coffee was gorgeous and the accommodating front patio is a major bonus. A chic neighborhood gem well worth the 25 min. walk we took to get there.

We ordered a cake that we picked up last weekend for my girlfriend's birthday. The cake itself looked beautiful. We purchased the Ferrero Rocher cake, and unfortunately, aside from the hazelnut pieces on the outside there was nothing to distinguish the taste from a regular chocolate cake - the icing was good, but overall rather plain and not the quality we expected. I hope this was unique to our experience but when we picked the cake up it came in a brown cardboard box that had been used for something else previously and was way too big, I assume they were out of their normal cake boxes but it made transporting much harder, and then there was nothing to put leftovers in which resulted in it drying out in the fridge overnight. The cafe looked very nice, and I trust from other reviews this isn't usually the case with purchases here.

A wonderful, slightly inconspicuous gem among the greenery on Parliament Street. As soon as you enter there is a "feel" of gourmet upsclae-ness but when you start talking at the counter immediately you feel welcome and comfortable. The staff is helpful patient and knowledgeable and my family and I enjoyed our time here!
