I can't speak to the overnight accomodations it the bar but the staff for the event I attended were professional and courteous, and the food was cooked perfectly though slightly under seasoned for my taste. The building is beautiful and the views were fantastic.
Just tried the Thanksgiving Buffet. It was grossly oversold at least at 5pm. So many people crowded into too little room. It took 1/2 hour to get through the buffet mostly because of understaffed carving stations at the end. Food was very good but often not refilled and mostly cold by the time we made it back to our table to eat. Our family dinner was spoiled because we were mostly not together but trying to wade through lines to get food. We managed to procure one drink near the end of the meal. Never again. Don't waste your $60 on this.
I visited the Wentworth on November 16th. Brought myself and my significant other. This visit was amazing from the beginning to the end. Booked a standard room and was upgraded, the front desk staff were AMAZING and friendly, and the room was HUGE. The hotel has a very classic and vintage feel with two restaurants, a spa, pool, and TWO hot tubs.
The room that we were upgraded to was a king suite with a fireplace, view of the water, two bathrooms, separate bedroom, living area and standing showers. Bed was amazingly comfortable!
I didn't get to enjoy the restaurant but it looks busy and full through the window. It looks professional and delicious.

Only thing about the hotel I found odd was the coffee maker. I wasn't sure how to use it as it's not a standard pot or keurig but the coffee was delicious!
I have heard they are hosting some amazing holiday events! This property is so kind and accommodating, would defiantly come again!
My husband and I stayed at the Wentworth by the Sea for our anniversary. The food in the hotel was excellent, the service impeccable, the decor classy but comfortable. The suite we stayed in was clean, crisp and by pool. I highly recommend this Marriott Hotel

My girlfriends and I come here every year around Christmastime. It's the most magical place around the holidays we've ever been! The service is superb, the Sunday brunch is the best I've ever seen. It's a truly magical place!
I stayed here this past weekend....the bartenders are friendly and very attentive......the food incredible...oh and the beds super comfy.
With all that said I was sooo disappointed with the cleanliness. The hotel is very expensive and for two people paying over 400 dollars I expect clean!!!!!
I took pictures of how filthy the bathroom was. Making you aware this was a big turn off.
Wentworth by the Sea is not the classic resort that it once was. We have stayed there many times and on our most recent visit the lady that checked us in was borderline rude with the process. Our room was like a sauna and the air conditioning unit did not function well and was extremely loud. Food was marginally at best. Despite having a great location we will not be back as there are many excellent properties just north of them along the Maine coast.
We had a great time catching up. The food and wine was fantastic!

My wife and I went for a romantic weekend. Bought one of there online specials. (Highly recommend) Came with dinner at there restaurant, champagne and strawberries delivered to the room, and a great corner room. Concierge was very helpful giving us directions and ideas of things to do in town. He also took me up to the Presidential suite to take some pictures of the great view around the Hotel. Needless to say it was a great stay, very classy place.
Sat at the bar and had mussels, meatballs and a flatbread pizza and some beer-delicious!!!
We had a room at the Marina suites. The rooms had an incredible view. The facilities were very impressive, plenty of room, spacious master suite, and adequate kitchen space. Service was very friendly.

It's a must a place to be visited, for my dish I had a lobster roll with pasta girlfriend had pasta with lobster on top a Pinot Noir wine to go with that our view was amazing where you look out at the outside sit down patio. They have a spa at the hotel, they serve continental breakfast buffet style they have private rooms to be rented they have sectional outdoor restaurant by the boating Bay, pool and private boats at the bay... Beautiful view and relaxing.. just what I needed
Pool closed at 3pm due to an event. Drove 6 hours to stay here. Property and service was otherwise great.
Great food and service. Caesar salad was delicious! We also had the risotto appetizer and loved it. The restaurant is beautiful. Our server was really nice and accommodating. Prices were reasonable for fine dining. Will definitely be back! Pros amazing food, service, and ambiance Cons bathroom was outside the restaurant in the hotel... That's the only con I can think of
The Wentworth is a beautiful hotel, in a very tranquil setting, a little different in summer than winter :) Enjoyed it both times!
