Wendy and her team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of in every way. Their attention to detail and thoughtful attention to customizing our menu and helping us with coordinating rentals was absolutely excellent in every regard. The food was delicious and I can't wait to work with Wendy in the future!

While I haven't worked directly with WKC, I have definitely benefited from their superb food on multiple occasions across different types of events. Besides the food being great, Wendy is typically on site for larger events making sure things go smoothly. For my sister's wedding while the poor bride and groom were stuck taking photos, she made sure to grab them cocktails and appetizers that they could munch on in between shots.

As a friend and former employee, I'd like to commend Wendy for giving me an incredible experience and introduction into the catering world. I began as a server, worked my way to lead, and eventually started working in her office. She was even kind enough to let me keep my job while in nursing school and was always flexible with my schedule. In fact, a lot of her staff are pursuing various degrees and she works with each and every one of them. I believe I can speak on behalf of any individual going to school how grateful we are to find an employer who will do that. While working in her office though, I was able to see just a fraction of what it takes to put a single event together, and she does several events in one night! It takes a lot of discipline and precision to manage each function, and as you can tell from other reviewers, they typically go off seamlessly. Wendy has built an incredible business, one that I (and my family) will continue to endorse.

I owe the smashing success of my 60th birthday party to Wendy Krispin. Her attention to detail, imagination and obvious expertise made my event a night to remember. Her staff was warm and professional and her food was divine. She has that extra touch that shows why she is the best in the business. Wendy Krispin and her team have catered many occasions for my family and my husband's non-profit foundation, and each one has been better than the last - which I didn't think was possible because EVERY event has been spectacular!! Wendy and her team did a fantastic job and were so very helpful making a friend's 50th birthday party a huge success! Honestly, McDonald's has more authentic, made-from-scratch food. Ask for her for a tour if her kitchen & I promise you you'll feel like you're walking through Walmart. There's cans of pre made food. It's ridiculously over priced & on top of that her attitude is awful.

I have hired Wendy to cater client lunches for 20 guests twice a month for almost 2 years. I love that I can count on Wendy to offer seasonal menus, great prices and delicious food. Clients always compliment the food and ask who catered it. I recommend her all the time!!!

She did my wedding last year and I'm never ever using her again. I took a chance and tried somebody new big misteak. The food was below average and the vegetables were not fresh but soggy the salad was terrible. The thing that bothered me the most was seeing how she treated her workers. I was shocked and appalled. She yelled at them like they were pheasants this is no exaggeration. Whatever you do avoid Wendy at all cost trust me

We recently hired Wendy Krispin to cater a 20th anniversary event for our company. It was a big event attended by over 300 people, at a brand new venue and featured speakers, videos, out-of-town guests so lots of moving parts. We contacted Wendy because we knew we could turn everything related to food and drink over to her. I kept saying to my co-chair, Just let them handle it. We have enough to worry about and they do this every day. I had to laugh when I saw on the website that is literally their slogan. Not only was the food delicious, the staff servers, chefs and bartenders --were professional, friendly (and funny) and anticipated what we needed before we knew we needed it. We could not have been happier.

Wendy and team were tremendous! For my daughter s 1/19/19 wedding, they delivered a fabulous affair. From the beginning in developing a wonderful menu that met our specific needs and tastes to executing a flawless event Wendy and team were perfect. That is not an overstatement! I cannot praise their work enough. Our guests RAVED about the food and the wonderful service. Wendy and team supported our needs while delivering highly creative and unique ideas. Hire this team!!!

Wendy Krispen catering service was great, the service was exceptional, the wait staff was professional, kind , and extremly pleasent to work with. From the first phone call to the end of the experiance it was a delight to work with professionals who care. I will use their service exclusively from now on. The food was also great, There was a lively discusion at the end of the night as to how the few remaining morsals would be disposed of, I got the two left over pieces of chocolate covered cheesecake, it was great for breakfast the next day.

I recently worked with Wendy on a wedding in McKinney. She was catering, and our company was providing the entertainment. Not only was she very difficult to work with, she directly insulted me over a minor misunderstanding. Unknowingly, I ate two left over samplers from a serving table (they were going to be thrown away) and because of this small mistake, which I immediately apologized for, she said I needed to "get my act together" and that I was "grazing" at her table. She refused to accept my apology and also continued harassing me about it after my apologies. It was one of the most unprofessional interactions I've ever had with a caterer, and I work nearly 50 weddings per year.

Not only was she that disrespectful to me, but after talking to the coordinators about her poor attitude and substantial lack of mutual respect in the workplace (which apparently they had heard that from others who had interacted with her that evening), they said she treated them the exact opposite: offering them samples and sushi as they passed by the work area. So it wasn't that she was incapable of behaving professionally and politely, it's that she intentionally chose not to. She chose to not treat professional peers (our entertainment company) and subordinates they way she treated her guests and employers, which to me was indicative of a character riddled with self-centered duplicity. I hope I never have to work with her again, and I would caution others about working with someone of her apparent nature.

I own and operate a full service event production firm in DFW and have worked with Wendy Krispin and her catering company on countless occasions. In fact, I started out as an employee for Wendy 15 years ago and can truly say that I learned from the BEST! Wendy Krispin's food, service, knowledge, kindness, and genuine passion for what she does truly sets her apart from the rest. The food is incredible, rivaled only by the impeccable service and presentation. Wendy knows how to run an event and a team of staff seamlessly, and she only accepts perfection - which is a GOOD thing! You will NOT be disappointed. I am a prior worker for Wendy. Wendy values precision and expertise that any host or hostess would truly value at their event. It shows in her attention to even the smallest detail, and constant drive for perfection. Her service is 100% on point. True, she isn't always sunshine and butterflies, but I think a little less "snowflake" in the industry goes a long way.

I recently worked with Wendy Krispin and her team to cater and host my company's 10-year anniversary party. The event was held at a venue owned by WKC - 129 Leslie. Wendy and her team came in at the eleventh-hour, literally, and executed an amazing event. Due to complications with managers at another venue, we had to switch the location of our party the week-of the event! Wendy, Neva, and Alma worked tirelessly to ensure that our needs were met, down to the last request!

I received many compliments throughout the evening on the hors d'oeuvres and meal. WKC was able to accommodate a group of 130 people that included folks with gluten-sensitivity, vegan/vegetarian diets, and pregnancy dietary restrictions. The food was delicious and the service surpassed my expectations.

We tried two of Wendy s meals (chicken meatloaf one night, and Korean braised beef short ribs another night) for the first time this past week. Quite simply these were OUTSTANDNG!! The freshness and quality of the food, the perfect seasoning, the total ease of reheating, and the convenience of ordering/delivery were absolutely perfect. Wendy Krispin Caterer is in a league by itself and is head & shoulders above any other meal delivery service we ve ever tried (and we have tried many). We are now HUGE FANS, and Wendy s meals will now be an ongoing part of our family dining options.

Wendy Krispin and her team did an AMAZING job at a couples shower we held this May. The food was great, and the set up was clean and well done! They were so helpful and fun to work with! I would absolutely recommend to use them!

Becky and I were staying home as advised by policy to reduce exposure to the Covid19. So we called our friend Wendy Krispin who, not only is known as a renowned caterer, but is also currently offering home delivery of complete meals from an extended menu. With a complete assortment of entree favorites, the meals include veggies, salad, rolls, and dessert. For three nights, we enjoyed salmon, pork and chicken, each accompanied by a generous serving of vegetables; a fresh salad with homemade dressing; muffins with whipped butter, and a wonderful dessert. All is nicely packaged and ready to be heated and served. Food prep was of the highest quality and flavor. We recommend her banquet quality meals, delivered so you can enjoy a terrific meal with ease and convenience.

Wendy and team did a terrific job catering our wedding. From the first contact with them, they were professional, responsive and helped make it very easy to pull off a big event. I used to work for this lady. HORRIBLE. Never have I witnessed more abuse of employees than with this lady. She loses her mind unnecessarily and takes it out on the staff. After trying to quit once and then going back, one more verbally abusive blowup from her, and I was done for good. Trust me, these are the sentiments of many, many former employees. And also the ones of current employees who are afraid to leave because they may not be able to find another job. And yes, not sure what the health department would think of they visited her kitchen. Yikes. Yikes all the way around.

As a previous server of Wendy's I can confirm that she does verbally abuse her staff. When Wendy was present at an event I would actively avoid her if I could. It was usually pretty easy because all of the staff members would give info as to where she was at all times.

Personally, I was yelled at to the point of tears multiple times. Every time was due to a minor issue, I wasnt doing things exactly how she wanted, or because I asked her a question that she thought I should know the answer to. I was yelled at while holding heavy plates of food for so long that my strength gave out and I dropped them, resulting in more yelling. Meanwhile I was one of the best servers there. I always worked my butt off because I loved what I did. Wendy tends to yell more at the better servers because I think she expects more from them. A little bit of praise now and then never hurt anyone.

We have to pack up the event after everyone is gone and those chosen to go back to the kitchen are paid LESS than what you are paid at the event. Despite the fact that overtime pay is usually more. Servers usually work until 3am unpacking everything. Keep in mind this is hard labor. Boxes of silverware, plates, and glasses are not light. By boyfriend frequently had to go back to the kitchen because he was strong and therefore efficient. I'd have to call him every night while he drove to make sure he didnt fall asleep at the wheel (which he frequently did). He told our lead on more than one occasion that he couldn't go back to the kitchen or that he had to wake up early the next morning, but she made him go anyway and endangered his life. I don't blame our lead, I blame Wendy. Our lead didn't want to go to the kitchen either but she had to because Wendy would yell at her if she didnt get the van unpacked on the same night. The only time we were allowed to unpack the van in the morning instead of at 3am, was when Wendy was there and she felt tired and didn't want to do it. If she wasnt at the event and we called her she'd say we'd have to unpack the van no matter how tired we were.

It is also true that her kitchens are disgusting. There is standing water on the floor all the time which is very hazardous to employees and the food. As for her food. Its ok. Idk Ive tried pretty much all of the options she provides and its all decent.

When Wendy wasnt around the events were amazing and fun! I truly loved that job, the people I worked with, and the lively atmosphere. I made a lot of friends there and met some interesting people. I just wish Wendy could get her act together and pay her employees fair overtime.

To all of the clients that love her service. Please think about what goes on behind the scenes. By hiring her you are enabling her to treat her staff this way. Out on the floor everything seems fine, but shes two-faced. Ive talked to so many guests that think she's the sweetest person. She talks about all of her clients behind their backs.

TO SCOTT BELL: Hello again I have actually worked with you as my lead multiple times, but I did work with Rosie more. It was the bigger events that typically became chaotic and I know you usually do more medium sized parties. We got along well and you personally have acknowledged my talent in the catering industry. I am a hard worker and I did love the job, just not the mistreatment. My goal in this review was mostly to keep other future employees away and to warn clients about mistreatment. Alma was thinking the same thing when she left this company and took some of Wendy's staff with her. Why do you think Wendy has such a hard time hiring and keeping staff? Come on. Wendy shoved me though a swinging door. Thats assault and it's illegal. Now shes resorted to hiring temps just to have enough people for an event. The temps don't know what they're doing and then it just makes everyone else even more frustrated. I wanted to stay but I just couldnt put up with it any longer.

Wendy Krispin and her team genuinely saved our wedding. Almost exactly 30 days from our wedding day our venue informed us that the caterer that we had been working with for months could no longer work at our venue. They recommended a few caterers, one of which was Wendy Krispin. I called ASAP & naturally, I was freaking out. Her team was patient and kind even though I was a basket case, so probably not AS kind at that time. They were knowledgeable and accommodating, Wendy even made a couple of custom dishes to assimilate with what we had planned for months. & the OUTCOME - WOW! From the design and aesthetics, to the food and the service - everything was great! We had so many compliments on how good the food was & that was really our goal. I can't imagine what she & her team could have done with more time. If I could do it all over again (& if I was given the option!) I would go with Wendy from the start. She & her team will take great care of you

We had a great experience working with Wendy Krispin and her team. We highly recommend and would totally work w them again!

Wendy Krispin was amazing. She catered both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. She took care of every detail of our wedding and was easy to work with from the very beginning. Her staff was very responsive, and more often than not, Wendy herself would take our calls (including on weekends and evenings) to answer our questions and put our minds at ease. On the day of the wedding, we ran very behind schedule. Despite eating dinner more than 45 minutes late and there not being a full kitchen at our venue, the food came out perfect. Wendy also offered to keep her staff late, so that we would not have to shorten the dance party afterward to allow her staff time to clean up. On a personal note, I requested a rather difficult signature cocktail, and she nailed it. She also emailed me pictures she took on her phone of special small details of the wedding that she caught from her behind the scene perspective. Of course, the most important thing is that her food is excellent. We will definitely use her again if we need to host another event.

I have used Wendy Krispin Caterer several times at several different venues for events involving 75+ guests. I cannot see how I could have had a better experience. Wendy's staff is simply awesome. They are punctual, they are polite, they are hard working, and they pay attention to detail. The food is excellent, the prices are more than fair, and Wendy herself makes sure that your event is spectacular.

We absolutely loved working with WKC. Wendy and her team did a fantastic job catering our wedding on 11/3. They were professional and responsive. They worked with us on every little detail. Everything you want in a vendor. Throughout the wedding process, we had some flaky vendors. WKC was not one of them. We actually booked WKC almost a year in advance but they never forgot about us. We always knew they were going to get the job done. I didn't have to worry. The food for our reception was fantastic. We received so many compliments from our friends and family. Food was important to us and we wanted our guests to have an experience. Wendy accomplished that. WKC was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding.

Wendy and her team are FANTASTIC! From the moment I reached out to them, they were extremely responsive and professional. We were blown away with her EFFICIENCY and RELIABILITY. She gets things done! We hired Wendy Krispin Catering for our large, elegant, semi-formal wedding. The food and service was absolutely spectacular. Wendy and her staff are incredibly professional. They were flexible on our wedding day when weather changes didn't permit our "Plan A" for catering set-up and performed flawlessly. We were immediately impressed at our tasting with the beautiful presentation and quality of food. We love her creativity, unique ideas, willingness to listen to our thoughts...and adapt accordingly! She also was fabulous handling our transition from one wedding planner that we had to let go to another. Unbeknownst to us, there were massive holes in our catering planning due to mistakes of our previous planner...but Wendy immediately worked with our new planner on a tight schedule and ensured our day was perfect (and delicious)! I cannot emphasize enough how delicious her food is and how beautifully it is presented. We were married almost a month ago and still have guests raving about our delicious and unique food! It truly set our wedding apart and made it next-level!

Since our first event with her, we have never used anyone else and never will. Every single detail is thought out, taken care of, and addressed. The food is not only DELICIOUS but equally GORGEOUS. Wendy clearly puts an incredible amount of care into each and every event and dish, and the way she interacts with clients, staff, guests, etc is something to be envied. Amazing food and service, all with an extremely professional staff. Wendy catered my wedding and her company did a phenomenal job. They arrived early to our venue (which was pretty far outside of Dallas itself) so that everything was ready to go for our cocktail hour. While the bridal party was busy taking pictures, Wendy easily coordinated with our planner to have hors d'oeuvres and cocktails brought out to us. All of our guests were impressed with the speed and professionalism of the bartenders that Wendy provided, and there wasn't one time during the whole night that I noticed a line at the bar. The dinner itself was fabulous, and Wendy again exceeded expectations by working with our planner to make sure that my wife and I each got a full plate with every item on our menu. Later in the night, everyone loved the breakfast burritos they made for us to refuel for the dance floor. Finally, Wendy's staff cleaned out well before the venue required our vendors to be off the property. Overall, I would have no qualms recommending Wendy's food or service for any event in the DFW area.

When looking for a caterer look no further then Wendy Krispin Caterers. We booked them for our sprinkle(shower). The team showed up early for prep, the chef prepared most of the menu on site and it was majorly tasty. With some other caterers in the past the food for large events lacked flavor and portions were miniature, not with WKC. Everything was exceptional and the bartender was a major hit with his signature drinks and the servers were amazing. After all the great food and service they cleaned up and left things just as they d found them. I can t recommend them enough. We had a situation where a sponsor wasn't able to provide us with a particular donation and she stepped in immediately to address this shortfall and need. I also plan on hosting my 50th Birthday at her venue because of the experience I had with her and staff this past Holiday Season.

For the past five years, Wendy and her staff have graciously donated lunches for a charity event held annually at T Bar M Racquet Club called Pink Day that benefits Susan G. Komen Dallas. The event is held in conjunction with the Challenger Professional Men s Tennis Tournament and year after year Wendy makes it possible for us to host the fundraiser that draws 200-300 women annually.

The ladies come to watch the tennis, but the lunch Wendy serves is just as big a hit as the matches! She continues to outdo herself each year and sets the bar she has created higher and higher.

This year, we went healthy and didn t realize healthy could taste so good! We started with a delicious roasted cauliflower soup that was both non-dairy and gluten free. Wendy followed the soup with a build your own kale and field green salad topped with avocados, pecans, walnuts, dried fruits and other goodies and topped off with either black pepper chicken or grilled pesto lemon salmon. I went for the salmon that was delicious. Also on the menu, Wendy and her team brought a roasted mushroom, onion and carrot quinoa with wonderful flavors that I could have made a meal of and there were roasted roots and brussel sprouts as well.

And then dessert!! We had the most fabulous key lime gingersnap cheesecake shooters (that I also could have made a meal of!) along with fresh berries and melt in your mouth chocolate dipped brownie cake balls!

Wendy and her staff were, as always, the ideal team to work with from start to finish. Not only has Wendy donated her time and meals, but has done it to the highest standard. She and her staff are pleasant and knowledgeable and the upmost professionals when it comes to getting the job done. We feel very fortunate to have Wendy on our team and appreciate all she has done for our event.

On a side note, my husband and I have also had Wendy Krispin cater a dinner party for 30 guests at our home and all of the above accolades apply to the job she did for us as well.

Incredible service and food! I had the privilege of working with Wendy Krispin for my wedding almost 6 years ago, and again just a few weeks ago for our Studio Gala. Both events were fantastic.

They completely transformed our wedding venue space bringing in everything from chairs, tables, and tablecloths to colored glasses and cloth napkins. We had Wendy Krispin cater a seated/family style dinner for our wedding reception, and the food was fantastic! Our guests enjoyed beef tenderloin and fish for the main course and also had the option of an Asian noodle bar. There was plenty of food and our guests loved the variety and flavors. Throughout the planning process including the menu tasting, Wendy was very quick to respond to our emails and we appreciated her flexibility and attention to details. She helped us to design a custom menu that fit our preferences and her staff was very professional. The setup for the reception went smoothly and her staff arrived early to make sure everything was set up right. We could not have been happier with the food and service and appreciated the elegance she brought to our event.

Wendy's food is so delicious!!! Everything is homemade, even the salad dressings... Can't remember if I've ever had real buttermilk ranch dressing and it was divine! I would say the deliciousness of the food is equally matched by the level of professionality of her staff. I used Wendy Krispin catering for my husband's 50th birthday party and can't stress enough what an amazing experience we had. Wendy's staff was more than willing to take direction or to step up and make decisions on how to set up in our home. Everyone was friendly, willing to please and super easy to work with. I look forward to catering my next event with Wendy Krispin catering and now they're doing individual meals for home and the Easter menu looks so yummy! Call them up and use them for their individual meals during this very difficult time, You will be so happy because your tummy will be happy that sounds goofy but her food really is amazingly wonderful!

I have worked with Wendy Krispin on many projects going on 20 years. Wow! She is one of the finest caterers and her attention to detail is extraordinary. Together we have spanned the range of events from corporate and fundraising, to weddings and backyard birthday parties. She is the perfect event planner partner. Her food from simple to complicated is wonderful. I really enjoy the event where we are on the team together.

I was the planner on the event referenced in the review by Daniel Porter. He did "graze" as he said, however he was grazing from the trays of food for the guests of the event and not the left-overs. Vendors are always included in the catering contracts. In this case Wendy provided meals for all of the vendors including the band. The band ate early so most of the appetizers the staff sampled later in the evening were not available then as the guests were still being served. I have no doubt that Mr. Porter tried to apologize for his mistake however his timing was off. Wendy and her staff were in the middle of dinner service. Everyone was focused on their respective jobs. Once dinner service was concluded and things calmed somewhat, the "samples" were offered to those working the back of the house. There were more vendors than anticipated and Wendy made meals available to all.

Wendy is a conscientious person. She makes sure the event exceeds expectations. That particular evening she did just that.

Wendy and her staff do more than what is needed, even if it isn't part of their job. Not many do that these days. I find those that seek to harm another's reputation by playing out a personal misunderstanding through a public forum irresponsible and hurtful.

I have used Wendy Krispin for several events and she and her staff are awesome. Besides the food being delicious, the staff showed up on time, set up was a breeze, the vibe she helped create was on target, and they cleaned up as quickly as they set up. I am from Houston and the St. John's School wrestling team was participating in a tournament in Dallas. I was tasked with providing lunch for the team and the coaching staff. I had no idea where I could get 45 box lunches that were fresh and healthy. I stumbled across Wendy through a google search. After reading the reviews, I thought I'd give her a try. Risky, I know . . . WOW. From the moment I contacted her, I knew I was in good hands. The service was incredible. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful. But, the food was INCREDIBLE. Not a crumb left! Plus, the coaches were pleased with the food because it was all freshly made. And, best of all, it was all delivered right on time! They made me look good! THANK YOU!

After having Wendy's catering for a number of weeks in a row, I was so impressed not only with the taste of the food, but the great variety that she had available. You'd think that you'd be eating the same side dishes over and over again, but that was not the case. We always ate something different and delicious!

My experience was absolutely terrible. All of the aliment they accommodated was conspicuously not made from scratch, the victuals was incredibly over priced for the quality that we received. Her "cooks" were very unprofessional and conspicuously have no training whatsoever. Wendy herself was absolutely impudent and her snide little comments were incredibly racist and beyond unprofessional. Her kitchens are terrible, and a worn-out mess. If you dare to utilize her ask her for a tour of her kitchen and walk-ins. You have been warned if you don't optate to mentally and emotionally scar your guests all while getting your stomach pumped then feel in liberty to utilize her "accommodation"

The venue was very intimate and classy, the food was amazing, her staff was attentive and professional. In fact we never had to check on one thing as the event came off without a hitch thanks to Wendy and her team. She was also extremely accomodating to many changes that we needed when trying to set up an event for so many people and with all of the challenges that presents.
