Wellness Hotel Horizont Review

Nice and neat hotel along the sea shore. Numerous children's facilities, adult wellness. The landscape around the hotel contains lots of greenery. Obligatory reservation

Great location and food, clean and cosy, wonderful staff, highly recommended!

The hotel is very nice, clean and tidy. The staff is friendly, the food is good.
The problem is the beach, but for such a number of guests is too full.

The location of the hotel is great, the beach can be reached in 5 minutes, but the beach chairs cost. The cleanliness in the rooms could well be better. The shower or tub has a high entrance which is difficult for elderly or physically restricted people. The mattress is already worn out. Food was often cold and the meat was often dead rather than dead. The service is good, but honestly if I work in a country that depends on tourism I would also be accommodating. On the whole we were disappointed we will not go there.

They do not maintain the hotel and do not invest in the renovation that is urgently needed. It works very dark and nothing hospitable. It can be seen that the main goal is only to extract money from tourists, not to take care of their well-being and satisfaction. How such a hotel can have 4 stars, I don t know. The loungers by the indoor pool have rusted, the equipment in the rooms has not been changed for about 40 years, not even the bathtubs and blankets. In the restaurant, the tables are covered with tablecloths, but it is interesting to look at what is hidden under them: ancient cheap tables that are just for waste. The chairs are painted only below - as far as the cover extends. The food was still just fine, albeit monotonous. It can be seen that they are saving here as well. Throughout the week, only melons and grapefruits were available from the fruit, sometimes bananas in the morning. They consumed food left over from previous meals (vegetables, polenta ...). A hotel I don't even want to see from afar.

Loved this place.....good facilities, nice pool, great area and sooooo central!!! Recommend!!! Got stranded in Croatia as daughter got chicken pox and the hotel were BRILLIANT!!!! One waitress especially made our time brilliant and out daughter Luna loved her.

Food is superb, but there is a bar at the lunch bar, which is additionally charged.

The hotel is outdated, crying for renovation. She is lined with a van, inside as a cottage cottage.
Parking is catastrophic. Under the tree which belongs to the resin and branches that damage vehicles.
They are not fans of guests from Bosnia. Although their car was damaged, deliberately, my car, probably the key across the entire left side of the car, provided parking for 24 hours with two employees, so they easily crossed it, noting that they did not fit for the damage done to vehicles. The police made a record, examined the workers and ended up on it. In the same series, 6 cars were parked, of which only mine with BH tables and it was damaged. It is recommended to the Bosnian people, as well as other guests, to avoid the hotel because of staff who do not accept any responsibility, even moral. I was just getting an apology that looked more like a mockery.

A beautiful hotel. Delicious food. One of the few with a pool. I have absolutely nothing to attach to !!!!!
An intimate hotel with a view of the beach, restaurants, spa and indoor and outdoor pool. Sunsets ... such as I added a photo. it was beautiful. I would love to return there again.

Nice hotel near the beach. The cleaning of the rooms are great and the food also. Some of the staff in the bar and restaurant can feel a bit annoyed though and are trying to avoid eye contact.

Nice staff. Open lobby with bar. Nice facility with spa and sports opportunities. Ving service center is directly on. Near the beach.

A non-smoking hotel, the only place where smoking is allowed is outside the main entrance. Unfortunately, there are carpets in the bedrooms. The pool is good but worn. They do not vacuum the pool every day. Maintenance is generally neglected throughout the hotel. Broken sun loungers and broken parasols. Hairdresser and massage are good and very cheap. The breakfast is ok. The staff is friendly and the service is good. Each room has its own ac so you can control which temperature you want. There are bathtubs in the rooms with high edges to step over.

We had arrived at the hotel a few days before the Croatian vacation start.
Room:
The rooms are simply decorated, but clean. The mattress was a bit too soft for us and the air conditioning only worked properly when the number of hotel guests increased.
Food: the food was really good in the first few days. The more guests there were, the less we were satisfied.

Staff: the service staff is super friendly and due to the current situation it was not easy for the staff as they had to give almost every food to every guest. Snakes thus formed. But the staff can't help it.

Pool: the size of the pool was good for a not yet fully occupied hotel. One should also not forget that the Adriatic Sea is only across the street. Here it is an advantage if you take a mattress or other pad / chair with you because of the pebble beach. But still the Adriatic Sea is super clean.

Surroundings:
The place was cleaned and prepared for the season during our stay. We found it very relaxing that there wasn't so much hustle and bustle. There weren't too many shops open, which was a shame, but some restaurants were already open. We liked it best in the Dalmatian restaurant.

It was great. Services, food, rooms moderately modern, the pools clean but this time the jacuzzi was missing in the indoor pool. Regardless, I already return traditionally because I feel at home.

Nice hotel with amazing pine forest near it.. the only minus is that it doesn t have its own beach, so you can spend time near their pool or on full public beach

Big and beautiful hotel in Basque water. The rooms have beautiful sea views. The plaza is very close. The hotel has a lot of facilities, especially the outdoor and indoor pool and wellness area which is interestingly decorated and offers various types of saunas and massages. They have a good supply of food.

Good location, clean decent food, additional fees for drinks (even water) for dinner. You have to get used to that the rooms with sea views have free music every evening (up to 3rano) from the BORIK.Na disco plus the distance to the beach. A good option for partygoers .

With two babies and a bunch of things we had to park in a private parking lot far from the hotel, to the displeasure at the front desk we got the answer: And what am I going to do to you.

The best hotel ever. Everything was perfect: very clean rooms, delicious food and the staff was very helpful and nice. In one word WONDERFUL.

The hotel is very nice and has good services. Wellness and indoor and outdoor pool is really nice. The only thing missing is a mini croissants at the breakfast...

We have been to the Hotel Horizont in Baska Voda for the last four years. Our conclusion Price performance in before and after season quite okay. But the services at dinner were reduced every year. The hotel is getting old and needs to be renovated. Wellness and spa area was free in our times. We will not go there anymore.

This year we stayed at Hotel Horizont in June and August. In June we booked superior room park side, and in August superior room at the sea side, which was more expensive but worth of a single penny.

Location,location and location...everithing one would need is in approximately 300m circle which is very convenient. A bit of dated but very clean room, restaurant,a spaceous swimming pool area, beautful peeby beach, large parking area etc.

All of the Staff, begining with Mr Luka .,the restaurant staff, SPA area, receptionists and maintenance staff have been more then frendly and were eager to help us in their best capacity.

Restaurant food is tasty,with very good choice of food for the hotel category it has.

I would higly recomended this hotel to everyone who seeks a real family vacation for a decent price.

Everything was very clean, all staff very friendly u. diligent. Beach clean u. crystal clear water. We will definitely come

Clean hotel, rooms are good, clean and not worn, as I have read before. We have booked a slightly larger room. Unfortunately the view leaves much to be desired. The smells and the noise from the kitchen are not great either. If we had the rather (before unpacking), we would have passed to another room. Now we live with it and close the balcony door if it gets too bad.
Food tastes. It is not far to the beach.

Very nice location, clean well-kept area near the beach. Beach is a pebble beach suitable for children. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the parking is pretty messy. The staff is also there to help.

I spent 11 days here in April l. Excellent food and great personal.

Nice and comfortable place this year, less tourists due to Covid-19 restrictions. But at the same time safety. Special thank to all staff.
