We love the Watermark - this was our 2nd year staying here. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that I wish we could rent more water sports from the resort as we had to keep leaving to go to a different resort for boat, sea-doo, and two person kayak rentals. Overall this place is fantastic and I'd recommend it to anyone. I like how they have a nice beach with trees for shade. My kids enjoyed both the lake and the pool. Walking distance to main street, grocery store and Roberto's Gelato which is our favorite.

Very pleasant stay at the hotel and I very much enjoyed the food from the restaurant. The one downside I should point out is that noise travels rather easily between rooms and from the hallway into the rooms. I was able to check-in early which I truly appreciated. Lastly, shout out to Kulbir as well as the reception team on duty during the check-in process - it was easy and quick (also plus points for being dog lovers!). The doggy welcome package was a nice touch as well; quite thoughtful. Will stay at this establishment again.

Have fully enjoyed our visit. Was a delay actually getting into the room (4pm check in but was delayed until 4:45pm) also had an issue with washer and a delay fixing it due to the front desk . Kind, courteous staff and the perfect location! My kids have enjoyed both the pool/waterslide as well as being so close to the beach! The room is gorgeous (2 bedroom suit) and our lake view was fabulous! Only 4 stars due to the delay at check-in and the delay in fixing the washer.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It was a great room with comfortable bed and all amenities you could need.

I took away a two stars due to the state of the pool and hot tub. There were tiles falling off, railing loose, and less than half of the jets working in both hot tubs. Clearly not enough maintenance being done. Makes me wonder what state the water is in as well. It made me more critical about other things in the hotel as well.

Beware of this hotel!!!! Very dishonest!!! Made a booking, the hotel took a deposit for one night, which was to be automatically refunded if cancelled on time. The booking was cancelled in April 2017 for a July stay so refund should have happened then. It never did. In August, i followed up with the hotel and told me that the refund had been issued in April and blamed it on my credit card. Miraculously, the day after I contacted the hotel and before contacting my credit card the refund appeared on my credit card. i spoke with management at the hotel again as this is very concerning that they waited for me to complain, to issue the refund of deposit. If i had not noticed, they wouldn t have returned the funds. Very dishonest!! They were supposed to investigate with their bank and follow up with me. They never contacted me again even though I contacted them a few times to see why this happened. I m sure if there was an honest explanation, they would have contacted me. The only explanation is that they are dishonest and are hoping that people don t read their bills well and can take advantage of that. Certainly not what you would expect from a high end hotel!! Be careful of any charges from this hotel!
They were quick to respond to my review when I posted this review but never to my calls of concern. Blaming it on my bank is absolutely inaccurate. They just want the optics to be good online for the public to see but the realty is quite different!!

Immaculate. Modern. Well maintained. Feels New even though its 10 years old. Enjoyed visiting with the sommelier. He sent us to great local wineries with recommendations for well made regional Sauvignon Blanc which we love.

We stayed in a one bedroom room with a full kitchen. It was not entirely beach-facing but still nice. Everytime we saw staff, they always said hello and asked if we were enjoying our stay. The Hotel is centrally located and is close to both food and government liquor stores. The hotel is very family friendly. A great place if you have kids.

Cleanest rooms out of all the hotels we ve seen in Osoyoos. The restaurant down stairs was good. Overall good price.
Just the room service didn t come when we had hoped but not a biggie for us since we don t make too much of a mess.
The rooms have nice view regardless of which rooms you stay in.
Recommended for those come to Osoyoos.

The Watermark hotel is in a fantastic location on the waterfront. The grounds are beautifully designed and maintained. The front desk area is small but the rooms appear to be a nice size. Each room has a balcony with a barbecue. There is a Boston Pizza on the premises as well as an outdoor pool and water slide.

Everyone is racist in this town towards the pickers. It's disgusting. Your town doesn't deserve to grow food. I hope locust infest your town and eat all the fruit. And I hope they come every year until you and the people of this town treat the people who make you money.

The unit that we stayed in was nice and clean with the wuew of the pool and the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped so it is perfect for long stays when you want to prepare your own meal. Actually you may want to prepare your meals since the hotel seems to be overpriced :)

Went to a Wine Bar Thursday night. An AMAZING experience!!! The food was divine!!!
BBQ lamb on a bed of local grilled tomatoes, topped with thick shaved parmesan cheese. It was barbecued right on the patio where we were sitting so it gave it an extra taste. We also tried a dish that has sausages and apple potato perogies. Sausages made in the house so they are very fresh and have no preservatives.
Their menu is Tapa based which is great for sharing. The prices are great for the amount and quality of food that you get. And as i said already - food is fantastic!!!!!!
Wine list has a great variety of wines by glass. La Stella Rose is fascinating and can go great either with Lamb, Sausage, Fish or veg.

Service was wonderful: helpful suggestions, polite, friendly,... What else would you need for a date night?

We had an incredible romantic dinner and will come back a lot!!!

The hotel staff - depending on who you get. Most staff are friendly and professional. Come across two staffs; perhaps new, one example when I called the front desk asking what's in the 3 locked closets in my suite. He said I don't know and provide no further assistance if he would find out for me.

The hotel can use some upgrade for the price you pay for the hotel. 1) blackout curtains would be nice 2) showerhead too weak. I have long hair and one single hair on my arm and the water pressure couldn't even move that one hair off my arm 3) hotel elevator, not essential but would be nice. Just one elevator access for the parkade. Very strange set up as seem once you get off the elevator, is quite a walk to the lobby, walking through guest room along the narrow hallway.

Benefits: love the pool has a waterslide kids loves. Heated pool 2 of them, and a bar on the side provide drinks and snacks. Lots of launge chairs. Very convenient accessing to the lake, you literally just walk out there about 2 mins walk.

Our suite are complete with full kitchen, full size fridge, freezer, oven, stovetop, blender, fully equipped for all meals. Two bedrooms suite, two bathrooms and large patio.

Gym available in the hotel and Boston Pizza conveniently attached to the hotel.

I will come back again.

Nice location over looking the lake. Menu for dinner consists of sharing plates. A fun way to dine but the dishes wee average, ribs were decent, house made sausage was quite bland, shrimps were ok had a nice heat. Charcuterie plate was very good. Just little hit and miss on the dishes but still a decent meal.

The villas at this resort are so spacious, clean, and beautiful! The balcony's have plenty of room to have a big group bbq, and they overlook the Osoyoos lake. What an amazing scene to wake up to in the morning! The outdoor pool and hot tub were at perfect temperatures, and were really relaxing. Would highly recommend this hotel, and will absolutely come back here for my next trip to Osoyoos.

I was at the resort helping a friend DJ, and right away I was taken by the location and the scenery. The hotel is right on the water and so close to everything.
I did not stay at the hotel but I would love to in the future. I would not hesitate to recommend this location for a wedding or corporate event.

Big disappointment. We have just paid more attention to the fact this hotel boasts awards from 2015 - 5 years ago! What has happened since?

Kitchen utensils and dishes and glasses had to be rewashed since they had lipstick or food left stuck on. A very noisy hotel, certainly catered towards families. The noise begins around 9AM and lasts until 10PM, and the shape of the hotel allows for the noise to filter directly through your apartment. Extremely limited pool access, we never were able to make use, so the hotel should not advertise this as a feature - or should assign time slots fairly so all guests can use throughout their stay.

Lots of issues from check-in to the stay. Highly recommend future visitors to go with a known and trusted brand hotel. We would not stay at this property ever again in the future, it was certainly the worst part of our trip.

Nice hotel, nice rooms but a dismal check in experience. We were told the room would be ready in at most an hour . 2 hours later we went to check in and were told it would be guaranteed ready in another hour. After waiting for an hour we were told it was still not ready and had to wait another hakf hour. However, the rooms were very nice and the view was great. Nice restaurant, too.

Our stay was certainly been less than perfect, wit...

Our stay was certainly been less than perfect, with issues on the daily. From check-in to check-out, there were things that certainly need ongoing improvement that will be detailed below. Deep, from the management team listened to our (many) concerns, and was able to turn around the situation the best he could. Although it did not improve our stay or erase the issues, we appreciated him taking the time (esp during a hectic day for Watermark) to listen, and implement changes.

1 - Cleaning & Sanitization: needs serious and more CONSTANT attention. Rooms, common areas and pool loungers are prime spots for germs in general - and critical during a pandemic. UPDATE Aug4: Dr has confirmed parents bites are from bed bugs. We advised hotel during stay, but were told might be mosquito bites. Review amended back to 1 star!
It felt no different to any other "pandemicless" summer. Rooms were not cleaned properly, and with a 5pm/10am checkout & no housekeeping during the stay, this is a big issue. We had to re-wash almost every dish, wipe down surfaces, and called housekeeping back in to redo the entire flat, esp bathrooms & common spaces.

2 - Modified check-in/out: guests are now losing 2+ hours of their stay due to "extra cleaning procedures" and yet paying the same rate. We arrived at 230P, were told room was not ready until 5, returned at 450P and were told room might not be available until after 5P but they didn't know when. Unacceptable, esp given state of room once we got in.

3 - Room key: each room was given 1 key card as hotel had run out and was expecting a new shipment in the next few days. The majority of rooms had a minimum of 2-4 adults. Imagine if someone lost/forgot that 1 key, or people had different plans..

4 - Operating capacity: hotel was incredibly busy, no surprise for summer and given travel restrictions. However, would suggest more control of human traffic/flows and interaction as this was a huge concern during the stay. No guests or staff (except a few cleaners) were in masks and yet most were customer-facing, and building setup had guests repeatedly touching doors/handles/buttons/carts & squeezing by each other in halls/doorways. Given the nature of clientele/families, would highly recommend stronger social distancing enforcement.

5 - Noise: if it wasn't being woken up by screaming kids from dusk til dawn, there were a few instances of excessively loud guests on their patios well into the night.

6 - Units/property: common spaces are incredibly small. We were told different specs during booking. Room fittings seemed worn, beds were super uncomfy. Washer/dryer were a nightmare to use. Price does not reflect value for these rooms, esp when other hotel services are down or limited.

7 - Pool: loud, often rammed, and you need to bring towels from your room. Room towels are tiny, some apparently larger than others (but most cleaners don't know this and leave you tiny towels) so you end up burning half your body on the loungers. Cleaning improved over course of our stay.

8 - Operational issues: boiler pump broke overnight on day 4. Water was turned off without notice for majority of the day, causing many to cancel plans as couldn't shower/brush teeth, etc. Although out of hotel's control, the guest comms piece was VERY poorly handled.

9 - Guest comms/service: majority of staff were new/unknowledgeable, careless, or purposely unhelpful/rude. Guests are paying a premium to be in a resort where this aspect should be top. The facility is fine, but service will differentiate it from competitors.

Overall, there were a few key members who went over and above to show exemplary guest service: Raj Bains (kept absolute calm in times of stress and went above and beyond), Deep (listened to concerns, implemented changes, and had the power to make a terrible stay turn back around), Courtney (helpful, maintained full professionalism & seemed to be working nonstop), Kerry & Cory "pool guys" (constantly working on something, keeping irresponsible guests in-line, and offering a friendly helpful manner at all times).
