Fantastic rooms and service at an affordable price and room service meals delicious

Hotel is well kept and clean. Has a classic feel and look. Nice open lobby. Staff are friendly. Pool was closed for the season. Didn't eat at the restaurant. Wifi worked well. Printer and computer in the business center worked. Upgraded room is large. Nice details, water delivery after 5.

I'm a repeat customer here and they always leave notes and a platter of fruit for me on the dresser. Wonderful service as always.

The room is a bit outdated, the 30 dollar a night parking is a bit excessive, the bar is nice, the pool and the gym are nice, the front desk staff were nice, but couldn't recommend a nice restaurant for eating. Overall it was an okay experience, I wouldn't stay again

Hotel was pretty clean and quiet. The only gripe I have is that the tv didn't work at all and the hotel wasn't super close to any of the places we were going to so we had to uber around. Overall not a bad stay though!

I am in Washington DC on business and my wife is with me and we love this place. the pool is quite nice and the servers come frequently for refreshments. Although this place is not new the rooms are kept looking new clean and fresh. We enjoyed the 5 ft shower in the bathroom and the bed linens are very nice. All in all we had a very comfortable stay.

ok, nothing special. we booked the standard room which was cleaned horribly, so we upgraded to the suite at a additional cost of $50 per night

Room was great. Clean and all set for us. We got upgraded to a balcony room. Night staff was amazing. In the morning the desk clerk was a bit rude and rushed.

We got a good deal on a room in this fancy hotel. Came down to see a Suicidal Tendencies show and as we were walking out we saw the bassist in the lobby. Made it that much cooler. Suicyco Mania!

Nice and clean rooms! Friendly people. Reasonable prices! Quick walk to all museums and monuments! Definitely will stay again!

The rooms are a little small and the bathroom is very small, but the staff is AMAZING. Every single person was welcoming, kind, and pleasant. Would recommend to someone visiting DC because of the staff, but the bathrooms and halls need some upgrades.

Mother's Day brunch food was good, service was great: servers, parking attendant, hostess, front desk.

Recently I've reviewed a few Marriott and hilton hotels poorly. I can say that I have pretty low expectations-cleanish room, coffee maker, stuff works. I don't even care about staff friendliness, though it is appreciated. This hotel blew me out of the water for the price point, the door was opened for me every time I was in and out, the front desk was fast and courteous, my room was spotless, the coffee was good. I won't delve into my previous reviews but this was MUCH above the chains at the same price

I enjoyed my stay. The staff is very nice and accommodating and the room was very clean.

The stay was wonderful; getting into the hotel posed a bit of a problem for someone who may not have kept an ultra-vigilant watch but once we arrived, we were delighted to a pristine room. Staff is kind, courteous, and it was fun conversing with them every once in a while, especially after being pointed in the right direction around the city!

Hotel management is terrible, rude and indignant. Couldn't even refund a simple reservation even though I never checked in. Now I have to dispute the charge. Should be simple apparently too simple for them.

Great place, in walking distance from White House.
Few words of advice though:
Parking is not included in the price and it is around $30 per day. Also the parking height does not allow cars or suvs with rack storage.
Floors 2,3 and 4 have balcony.

Clean rooms. Good central location at a good price. We were in walking distance with everything. They offer parking, breakfast, and bar. Excellent service. A little older but the location was worth it.

I had an AMAZING stay at this hotel! I stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend and the staff was lovely. Mia at the front desk made sure I knew about all the hot spots in town and ensured that I was enjoying my stay. The hotel s food is fantastic and has several options! Hotel rooms are up to date and comfortable. You can dine inside or outside near the pool. Also, you have the option to order drinks by the pool. I will definitely stay here again!

The room was a little bit small, but clean and well appointed. The staff at the hotel was so friendly. Food in the restaurant was good and the pool area is really nice. There's a bar at the pool.

Stopped in to use the bathroom. As far as that experience goes, 5/5. Clean, quiet, two-ply toilet paper.

The room is beautiful, I love the fish in the lobby, the service has been excellent! The woman who checked us in was wonderful, and we've loved the whole thing.

Actually, I was happy enough with my stay except that, after returning to pick up my car, they charged me an additional day to park because I came after 6pm. When we left the room in the last day of our stay we were told we could leave the car all day. When we returned to pick up the car they said they were charging us for an additional day beacause we came after 6. Nobody told us that we needed to pick up the car before 6. We would have gladly done so and parked for less than 1/2 the price and saved ourselves the mile walk back to the hotel. Very unhappy after having spent a great deal of money not only on the room but also at the hotel restaurant .

The location is in a quiet area and not much around it. Room was average.

Beautifully renovation to its original mid-century stylings. Very comfortable, clean, cool looking and inviting. The pool deck was awesome, which it had been summer. Staff took wonderful care of us. Great location and value. Highly recommend. This place was a hit.

Good experience overall. Major criticism would be the scripted "welcome back" from the employees. Seems rather corny.

Very comfortable hotel, good facilities, coffee - tea facilities in the room provided for free, location is very nice, in the Tomas circle, very close to 14 street where a lot of restorans situated, a beautiful view from my window.

We had a great stay. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and professional. They have complimentary bottled water. Room service also dropped by with complimentary milk, cookies & a hand written welcome note. All around great stay.

The best choice I could make! fabulous hotel !!!!. cozy, clean, finely furnished, in one word ELEGANT. I slept a magnificent bed with at least nine pillows and the softest and smoothest sheets I've ever found in a hotel. the staff was of an exaggerated kindness in every moment of the stay. it is also easy to reach the monuments of the city if you are not afraid to take a nice walk. my only regret is that we could not have stayed longer!

I parked and it was cool. 10/10 would park again. Also the lobby bathrooms have the best hand towels in existence.

I stayed here for 4 days at the end of June. I loved it! The service was awesome and friendly! I had room service one night and it was the best calamari I've had in awhile! The rooms were clean updated and appropriate for a business trip! I will be sure to bring our family back in the fall.
