Staff was very helpful. Everyone that works there is an experienced runner. It is the place to buy running shoes in the SLC area. They know how to fit you. They know their stuff.

I can't possibly think of giving this place and its staff anything but a glowing commendation. Outstanding service by very approachable and kind people! They took the time to really take care of me and satisfy my needs as a runner and a person. I will be a returning customer for sure!

I went to this store on the recommendation of my sister, who bought a pair of shoes for the pain in her feet. I explained my needs to the sales person, who did their best to fit me with the correct shoe. Long story short, I needed to exchange them, and even though I had thrown away the receipt, they still had a record of my purchase and cheerfully helped me. Thank you so much for your patience and helpfulness. I loved my experience!

Employees were very helpful in getting me the right shoe. Not the cheapest but if you want quality shoes and help finding them, this is the place to go!

Went to get shoes for my daughter who will be running on the X-country team this fall. She has some interesting feet issues, and they were a wealth of information. They spent a lot of time with her looking for the right shoes! We'll be back!

This is the premier running store in the Salt Lake Valley easily! The workers here are next level because of their love of running. They genuinely care about increasing their knowledge consistently. You can ask any employee there about any shoe, apparel or gear and they immediately know the answer it seems. They always have first chance at my business as long as they have product in store. Steve, Danny and Clay are awesome. We went late on Thursday and Danny was more than happy to stay late and help us even though we felt bad. Then we went back today and both Danny and Steve helped us in a variety of ways. Steve listened to the types of running shoes we liked and gave us some great recommendations and we walked out with saucony endorphins. Love them already. Then we drove out to centerville because they had my wife s size in the hike terra. Cory got on the phone from sandy and helped us use our points from that location. Everyone at both store were amazing. We found our permanent running/hiking shoe store. Thank you for the great experience.

I had the greatest customer service experience at Wasatch Running. I am a new runner and was advised to go into Wasatch Running to have my feet/walk/run evaluated. As soon as I walked into the store I was greeted by Darrell. I told Darrell I was new to running and some of the issues I ve had with running in the past. He was very friendly and knowledable and he listened to my concerns. I had a lot of questions and he was patient while I picked his brain. I ll be honest, my plan was to go to Wasatch, find my shoes and then purchase them from Amazon to save some money. Darrell s customer service was so amazing that I didn t care how much my shoes were, I was going to buy them from him AND go to Wasatch for all my future running needs. I will recommend Wasatch Running and Darrell to anyone!

They did a great job fitting me for shoes, they went through a bunch of options and watched me run, I used the shoes for a year and loved them. I wanted to buy the same shoes for a better price recently because I thought I d paid premium price here for the great service I got, I looked all over but couldn t find them for a better price. Finally, I came back, they refit me to make sure I was still in the best shoe, ended up buying the same shoe I had been using and got it at a better price than I found anywhere else. Great place for runners! Holly fit me last year and Ethan this year, both were experts and knew what they were talking about.

I recommend Wasatch Running to all friends, family and coworkers that ask me where to get running gear. The service is what earned my business. I'm an experienced runner, but they still take the time to ask me about what I want to accomplish. They seem to understand that all runners are at different levels and need the attention that a few probing questions will resolve. Running shoes need to be bought in person, tried on and tested. I also love that they were one of the first to support a local shoe company. Kudos

Good selection of shoes and clothes; knowledgeable, patient, friendly staff and most of all they stand by their return policy. I recently purchased a pair of La Sportiva Lycans. Within fewer than 30 miles of use, the padding decompressed unevenly. I have a fairly straight gait and have never had a problem with running shoes. These shoes however, caused my right ankle to bend inwards with every stride resulting in pretty severe discomfort up and down my right leg. I returned to the Sandy store with the shoes and the sales person, Becca, agreed with my analysis. She talked with the owner and they replaced the shoes on the spot. Yes, you might pay a few dollars more by buying local as opposed to getting the best deal on the Internet, but the savings is not worth losing out on good service, experience, and advice. I hope this store stays in business for a long time. I will look for opportunities in the future to support them as they stood by their product for me.

I am about to start the Couch to 5K program and went to Wasatch Running to get help with finding shoes. Jared helped me out, and he was very nice and super helpful! He helped me find the right shoes, and even though going in I was feeling a little nervous and intimidated, he gave me a great experience and I appreciated his help a lot. I will definitely be going back!

This is my favorite running store. The staff is excellent, taking the time to make sure the shoe fits and meets your training needs. I wish they had a bigger selection of clothes. I love that they offer a military discount. They carry quality products throughout the store. Our whole family shops here for track, cross country, endurance running and casual training.

Bought running shoes from here two weeks ago, Marc was very polite and helpful in finding the shoe I needed. He said they d order them and would be here on Thursday of the same week. When I called on Thursday, no shoes, they said they d be here mid week of the next week (week 2). Fast forward to next week, when I called they said they d had problems with the warehouse, and that they d for sure be here Tuesday of week 3. Today is that Tuesday, and I just received an email with a receipt for a refund (have not seen said refund in my bank account) and a sorry, your shoes did not come in. Sadly will not support this store anymore. Sorely disappointed.

I've bought shoes for myself here and for family members whose athletic ability ranged from novice to competing in Nationals. The customer service cannot be beat. They have something for all running interests.

I don't even pause a moment anytime anyone asks me where to go for a running store - Wasatch. I am both pleased and not surprised that Wasatch has been in business as long as they have. I don't believe I have ever left the store with a shoe or other item - apparel, insole, nutrition, etc - that I didn't have a feeling of having been provided with the right item for what I needed. There are few local businesses that are as engaged with their customers and engaged with the community as well as Wasatch. I have been coming to WRC for many years while my running style, ability and interest has varied widely. When it comes to running and trying to find comfort, style, and gear - you do want to go somewhere you can ask questions and have a conversation with someone who knows what you and they are talking about.

I live very close to this store and went to a class they offered and have now made it my go to shop. The personnel are all FANTASTIC! If you have a question--they have a great answer. They bend over backward to be sure you have a great experience. If you need anything to do with running--they have it. Love the place.

Wasatch Running was recommended to me roughly seven years ago when I decided to give running a go. It was immediately evident why they came so highly recommended. The staff was fantastic (most of whom are still working there today) and walked me through everything. Now seven years later I have children who have discovered their passion for running as well. We get a kick out of the fact that Wasatch Running helped me find my first pair of real running shoes as well as theirs!

This is my go to place for shoes and supplies. The staff is never anything but helpful & friendly. They have a great selection of running shoes and clothes.

I've used these guys to assist with my patients since they opened. They offer top notch care and great attention to detail. Best customer service I've found in the industry. They helped me find new running shoes really quickly. The staff was very knowledgeable and found exactly what I was looking for quickly so I was out the door in half the time in normally takes to buy shoes. The prices were normal and the selection was excellent.

My boyfriend needed a new pair of running shoes and after going to one store where the staff was so rude and not helpful we ran into Wasatch running where the gentleman not only worked one on one with my man to find the exact shoe he needed the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. I am not an athlete and have never really been a runner before. I decided to run a half marathon and went to a regular shoe store for some running shoes. The clerk couldn't have cared less and knew almost nothing about the shoes they carried. I decided to go to Wasatch Running Center and the experience was like night and day! The clerk had me run up and down a track, he studied my feet and then recommended four different shoes and had me run in each shoe to find the perfect one. I'm sure I could have bought the same pair of shoes online for a much cheaper price, but I don't mind supporting businesses that go the extra mile when it comes to customer service. It was well worth the money I spent!

Awesome service! I am just getting into running, don t know a thing about special shoes and I just wanted a gait analysis so I knew which shoe to pick. They did that and more. They sit you down, bring out a bunch of shoes and they guide you through eliminating what you don t like and finding more of what you do like. They re very knowledgeable and helpful.

I am a new "runner" birthed by COVID-19. After running in trainers for a month, I decided to get real running shoes.

Steve was super helpful in helping me find shoes that fit me right, gave me good tips on helping me run. He was super patient and friendly, which is really great for someone who looks like I break a sweat just thinking about running.

Wasatch Running Center has a 30 day exchange policy, which is good in case you get cold feet. ;)

Edit: Had to return my first pair. Ended up with another pair that is a lot better for me. Return process was extremely easy. Rebecca gave me good tips and information on how to break in my shoes properly. Still definitely recommend!

These are experienced runners that recommend gear not based on what they can make off of commission, but actually what is helpful. Every time I have gone into the store to make a purchase the staff is friendly, asks what races I am training for, and they are so happy to answer questions. Their store is doing a wonderful job at making a purchase easy and they really do care about their customers. One things recently that they had me try were compression socks on a downhill half marathon. It made an unbelievable difference and I am so glad that I have this knowledgable staff to ask questions to. Sporting goods stores have the same products, but if you want personal recommendations by ACTUAL runners and experts, then come here. Enough said. Thanks everyone!

Seemed like a great facility and I have heard great things, but I was in the store for over 30 minutes and received zero assistance and you could hardly tell who the employees were. Mainly, 30 minutes waiting for help at the front register and getting NOTHING is unacceptable.
