Okay I stay at this hotel EVERY WEEK! This place is a historic hotel in the city which such a rich history! The staff here are INCREDIBLE! Despite Covid they are so engaging and accommodating! They make you feel so welcome and always make sure your stay is a happy one! I ve stayed at 3 diamond hotels in the city but prefer to stay at the Warwick instead! Love you guys!

Located close to times square. Good rooms. Mine was little small and clumsy though. Breakfast serving staff needs to put smile on their face to welcome their guests. They serve same breakfast every day. No live counter. The gentleman at the reception was very helpful.

Good location, I guess that's what you're paying for, because the rooms are nothing to write home about. Small and dark, with literally no view, could use updating. There's some kind of construction going on, so the scaffolding and staircase was right outside our window, meaning we needed to keep the curtains closed most of the time, but even with them open, you're just staring into the rooms 10 feet across the way. Weird setup.

The airconditioner/fan just roars constantly, really loudly and good luck trying to figure out how to fix it. Front desk are pretty lackadaisical. Also, outlets only on one side of the bed to plug in chargers, not very handy at all.

The TV set/cable set up is not the greatest, although you don't go to NYC to watch TV, so it is what it is I guess. Bed was comfortable and housekeeping did a good job. Not sure if I'd stay here again to be honest, I've stayed in rooms twice as big for the half the price, pretty disappointed actually, it was our anniversary and I thought it would be more special. Oh well, live and learn. :-)

Housekeeper didn t let me rest. I ve asked if later check out was available for me, and they did confirmed I could check out by 1 pm. I thought that was great and set up my alarm for 11:30.
At 10:30 (! Regular check out time is 11 !)housekeepers started knocking on my door, tried to open it, but door blocker stopped them, but anyway that noise woke me up. I went to the shower and while showering I heard they were knocking again at about 11.
P.S. There were no any do not disturb signs to put on my door

Firstly, don t pay the extra for a city view room. We did and our view was another building right in front of us. We chose this hotel for a staycation for Valentine s Day, and chose the Warwick for the fun hotel things they advertised like took service, mini bar etc, none of which were actually available. I understand that this was probably due to COVID, howevet they advertised them as things currently being offered. Also took all night for the heat to get a over 65. Disappointing to spend money on a treat, just for it not to be what they advertised. Especially as a Warwick member! I don t see myself visiting again.

My room was clean, comfortable, and was ready really early so I could check in right away. Great location (near the park, Rockefeller center, etc). Conciege and front desk staff weren't very friendly...felt like I was a nuisance for checking in and checking out. Doormen were very polite, friendly, and helpful though.

We ve booked (and prepaid) to stay at the hotel for 5 days and we sent a message to let them know that we wouldn t arrive at the first day and that we d be checking in only in the morning of the day after. We arrived tired after a long flight and they didn t allow us to check in as we supposedly had non show the day before.
The front desk attendant was really rude and impolite conducting the problem and after he realized it was his mistake (or the hotel s) he gave us the room key without apologizing or welcoming us. We visit NYC every year and we ll never stay at this hotel again, we understand mistakes can happen but a misbehavior from the front desk is unacceptable!

The room is beautiful, street noise is a bit much (lower floors), mini bar would be convenient if the prices were not so high. A/C doesn't seem to work that well

[Follow-up] I guess the temperature was unusually high in NY when we first arrived. The A/C worked fine once the temperatures were back down to the upper 80s or lower

While very classical in looks which can be assumed that is done purposefully, the hotel is a little dated. So small touches could rectify this without totally destroying that original feel.

I like this place! The room I stayed in was large and comfortable. Even though it was on the 19th floor, there are enough lifts to service the building even during busy periods. You need to be aware that a number of rooms look out at a brick wall - you can upgrade to a room with a proper view....the building across the street. The prices are What You Should Expect in New York (WYSENNY). And, it s near the centre of things between 5th and 6th on 54th.

We stayed here for 3 nights. It was very underwhelming. The bathroom was so small, I had a hard time being in there with my toddler. The AC wasn't working. They offered to change our room the next day, but it was a hassle so we stayed in the same room. I don't know why it's considered 4 stars. Doesn't live up to it.

It's a really nice place to stay but not cheap. Rooms are large. The bar is great! Breakfast is not so great. If you dont have a free breakfast included go somewhere else. Generally a good experience here.

Beautiful establishment, old world NYC! They certainly maintain the allure that I'm certain they had years ago when they housed the likes of Carey Grant. Check in was smooth, and our room was immaculate. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in! I highly recommend if you're looking to stay in NYC (it is close to lots of really great restaurants and midtown destinations - as well as near public transportation).

Great hotel and a great location. Good option for a visit to.NYC for work or pleasure. The option for the breakfast buffet is great. Food is perfect for starting the day. The bar at the lobby is the right spot to finished a day of work or walking around the city. Rooms are clean and in good shape

Elegant, cozy and walking distance of everything. The rooms is well maintained, clean and spacious (for NY). I'm stayed in one bedroom suite with fantastic view. Close to MOMA and Central Park.

As a hotel I think is very nice however for a hotel at that price range and also in the middle of Manhattan I would expect more and that's the only reason why I would give this hotel a four-star. With that said there is a very large Marquis outside that reminisce of Broadway and when you enter into the hotel you are greeted by a fair-sized Lobby. The receptionist is friendly. I wouldn't say the rooms are particularly large however for New York City there are decent.

All in all had a wonderful stay in the Warwick Suite. The room was incredibly spacious and well kept, but the decor, furniture, and some bathroom fixtures were a bit in need of updating. The staff was super nice and really helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Nice room that all

Nice room that all

I am appalled at the woman at the front today at 10:14 AM 23 Feb 2021 who was so nasty and then I said you are so nasty to me and she said I quote for $125, meaning we paid, I am not arguing with you then she replied to me you are nasty as well - I am mortified and all I am trying to do is work in the business center ok the 2nd floor and then she says it s a pandemic called Covid, when I am very much aware and know too many people who have passed away from this. Very upset in every level

Attended a conference here. Great facilities and awesome location near Central park. The rooms are classically designed and very nice. Lots of cool history to this building as well. I hear they have a movie screening room in the basement. I haven't seen it but I hear its fantastic. I would highly recommend staying here.

We have stayed at the hotel many times over the last few years and have enjoyed the comfort of the rooms and it s great location. However last week we stayed for three nights and it was a huge disappointment. We had room 1515 and although the room was good size and we had two view windows which we requested and we have learned to call for bathrobes the bathroom was almost unusable!! It was no larger than a closet and one person using the bathroom could barely turn around.....all toiletries had to be kept in the bedroom. It was just awful, unsafe in the middle of the night and when we asked for another room we were told that business travelers like these rooms....since we were a married couple on holiday this explanation was ridiculous. As in the past we looked forward to meeting family at the Randolph but on three attempts the service was rude and on the last attempt for lunch we waited so long for someone to acknowledge our table that we left.
Very sad to see the decline in service at a hotel that we had enjoyed so many times... think it is time to look for another property for future visits.

What a LOVELY hotel! The room was beautiful and spacious for a New York City hotel. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. The location was incredible, reasonable walking distance to just about anywhere you want to be. The decor was updated and beautiful as well as very clean. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The Warwick hotel is lovely but has a few downsides. It was obviously one of the most iconic hotels in its day but during our stay we changed rooms as the air conditioning is very noisy. It was a touch quieter in the new room but not sufficiently. The windows don't lock tight so noise of traffic can be heard which kept us awake with sirens, horns being honked and a noisy neighbour in the next room slamming doors every ten minutes until 1am. That is not the hotels fault but maybe they could introduce a quieter door locking system when the doors are left to slam shut. We felt for the star rating of this hotel and of course the price it should have tea/coffee and water facilities as a standard. The tea and coffee facilities are free but you have to ask for them and it consists of take out cups and no coffee despite requests was ever delivered. In the UK and Europe hotels of the same star rating have glass cups/mugs with tea and coffee making facilities, bottles of water with a choice of sparkling or still included for free. Everything was available at an extra cost. We ate out in the restaurant several evenings and found it expensive for what it was. On the plus side the beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are a very generous size. I think the Warwick hotel offers good clean rooms, comfortable and the service depending on the day can be friendly or short and sharp. I think the basic robes added into the rooms, refreshments and quieter air-conditioning along with air lock windows would by far make this one of the more attractive hotels in New York. I can only judge as several other couples stayed in various other hotels so in comparison to that and stays abroad it just needs to add the extra touch of special for customers to want to return.

Stylish red brick hotel which has a very good lovation. Central park and 5th avenue are just 10 mins walking distance. You can enjoy the neighborhood by staying at the hotel. Moderately priced especially when you are in NY.

Thought it was a good deal price wise. Great location and very friendly staff. A few cockroaches in the bathroom ruined the experience. It is in NYC so things like that are not unexpected but still not great!

Convenient location in midtown Manhattan. Near many stores and restaurants, including one inside the hotel. Great to stay here, rooms are comfortable and pristine clean but quite small in size.

I stayed at the Warwick in NYC in October 2020 and unfortunately had a terrible experience. Upon entering I noticed a large ugly stain on the floor in the hallway of my room. I'm not sure what it was (blood? mud? vomit?) but it's right in front of the door and bathroom so a constant reminder of an unclean room. In the bathroom I immediately noticed and reported that the toilet seat and toilet cover were sopping wet all over. I had to wipe them down with a towel. The toilet ran continuously -- and the dripping noise kept me up at night. On the second day, the faucet handle fell off and I was no longer able to run cold water in the sink.

I sent several emails to Larry, a manager but he never replied. I also tried calling guest services. It goes to voicemail. I finally spoke to someone and requested help from a manager but received none. When I booked the room, I was told that nobody enters the rooms including housekeeping in order to maintain Covid health and safety protocols. Despite this, upon returning one afternoon, I noticed someone had been in my bathroom. I did not authorize entry and was not aware someone would be entering my bathroom. Whoever it was may not have been wearing a mask or gloves, exposing my personal belongings to their germs.

So if you want to stay in a clean, safe, sanitized hotel in NYC, with access to running water in a sink and a functional toilet, I'd have to advise against staying at the Warwick.

This historic hotel maintained its charm through the years. Service is very good, from reception to room service to housekeeping. Good view of the Manhattan street scenes. Perfect location, and right across the moma (museum of modern arts).

Nice hotels, very nice and pleasant staff.
You are in 6th avenue and you have all the neighborhoods at hand, bus, metro and taxis.
Central Park, Empire State Building, Rockefeller within 25 minutes walk.
Truly a well placed and friendly hotel.

The experience was completely ruined by the location of our room - the view goes into a shaft, with a very loud machine in it, which makes sleeping near to impossible. Thus Warwick fails to deliver on the prime purpose of a hotel - good night sleep. When at the end of the sorry stay you get charged $25 "service charge" per day (apparently for WiFi etc, is it still 1999 in New York?) the picture is complete. One star for location of the building, one for its history.
