Historic hotel a short walk to Time Square and Central Park. Lots of great restaurants around. Good sized rooms, comfortable bar and friendly staff. This is my favourite hotel in New York.
Nothing but great things to say about the Warwick. Third stay there this year. Staff super accommodating. Rooms were great size, in general, but especially for some of the older hotels in NYC. Have been able to check in early 2x and other time were super helpful about dropping off our luggage before check in. Valet service is wonderful and extremely helpful. Would skip the overpriced coffee shop for breakfast, though, and go across the street to Astro Restaurant.
Very nice place. Room was a little small by todays standards, but in good shape. Restaurant only open for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
Me & my husband stayed here during Christmas, it has all the vintage and romantic feels a girl would want! Staff were very professional & kind!
Nice room..clean ..good services..the biggest room ever in NY so far
I would not go back. In my room, on the 7th floor, 3 times I found huge cockroaches.
In addition, the attention of the front desck
It does not agree with the stars of the Hotel.
Room was fairly big which is offset by a small bathroom, but everything was clean and orderly.
Very well maintained hotel, spacious rooms and most importantly its super friendly staff
Nice place, but way expensive. They don t even leave a bathrobe in the room for you to use.
Stood here on a weekday due to our work schedules and enjoyed our stay that we decided to come back for a weekend stay, I must say both times have been a wonderful experience. The rooms are pretty and clean, the front desk workers were very pleasant. Can't wait to book again.
Nice but expensive hotel. In addition to the usual taxes on room rates, when you check out, as a surprise, your bill will have a $25/ day "facility" charge. But very convient location.
Nice place to stay, close to park and transportation.
Good location, very old (could use renovation), big rooms, very comfortable beds, bath was clean but looked old and with low-maintenance. Nice staff, some of the rooms are facing a brick wall (we had to move, a bit clastrophobic)..
Good hotel . Great location and staff is super friendly
Very good hotel, the service is very good, well located; look for Carlos Alta the best service.
Big room, great location. We had good time in the hotel :)
Excellent establishment for those with the dollars to spend. Great service, excellent room!
The hotel was very comfortable, the staff was friendly, polite, helpful during the 12 days we were installed, it is to highlight the collaboration of Mario, the trunk, who helped us throughout the stay, giving information, suggesting to visit, appropriate prices , and fundamentally solving inconveniences regarding the language. Cleaning, attention is remarkable, both in the facilities and in the room. I RECOMMEND IT EXTENSIVELY
Hotel was lovely nothing was to much trouble for the staff and nice spacious rooms and well appointed bathrooms
Classic New York hotel, great location. Do not order room service, better to eat elsewhere
Couldn t be happier, we stayed here for my wife s 30th birthday weekend and they really made her feel special, cake, champagne, a nice room, really awesome job by this hotel and staff to make sure her weekend was special!!!
Traveler BEWARE! It saddens me to post this negative review but alas, I don't have any other options. I visited this hotel on 11/30 and had drinks. I was charged for the drinks around 12/4 (once the charge processed). On June 6th, I was charged again for the same drinks. Twice charged and six months apart. I've called 6 times and emailed 4 times with no resolution.
It sounds like a travelers scam to me. I've now had to lean on my bank to refund the charges.
BEWARE! Or use cash when there.
Very good hotel like location elegant and cozy rooms
Comfortable location, spacious rooms, with perfect bed and pillows. Good service in general, very friendly hotel staff.
The best thing about this hotel is its perfect location and the spacious and well-equipped rooms. It was a great deal as we could use a corporate rate that included also wifi. Don't expect too much from the bar, the lobby and the reception. It all felt busy, crowded and not very personal. Even more annoying was a construction site just outside our window - heavy noise started each morning from 7am. In general, try to get a room as high up as possible to have less street noise and better views
went in for a couple of drinks with a friend, very nice atmosphere, premium price, great service
Perfect room. The beds were comfortable and the service was very nice! I would suggest this Hotel to everyone!
Always a fun time.. Very nice, friendly place.. Great restaurant attached...
Staff was professional and friendly, room was a nice size and comfy, location was great for midtown shopping and Broadway shows.
Nice hotel, well appointed room, professional staff, amazing location.
The place it's self is nice however the cocktails were disgusting... The WORST old fashioned I have ever tasted in my life the menus were old ragged and sloppy, I except better attention to a standard of the bare minimum of an establishment such as the Warwick, extremely underwhelming
Great hotel, and great breakfast buffet. The restaurant connected has great service! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IT
Staff very welcoming, polite and helpful. Room size was spacious with a nice ensuite. The decor of the bedroom wasn't spectacular, but it was very clean and the beds were comfy
Rachid at the front desk is extremely helpful and courteous. He goes out of his way above and beyond to make sure his guests are taken care of in full professionalism and charisma. I look forward to coming back here in full confidence hoping Rachid is still here and I hope his boss considers promoting him for his high quality work for Warwick s guests! Amazing guy!!!
The beds and room are very nice and it's in a fairly busy part of town, so all stores are within an arms reach. The only thing keeping Warwick hotel at a 4/5 are the absurd prices for beverages and remedial snacks. A can of coca cola will cost you $6.00. Water? $7.00. Price gouging isnt a practice that I enjoy very much, otherwise I'd have rated a 5 out of 5.
Really? No refund? Even though I canceled weeks in advance? My partner lives far and this was the only time in months we would get to see eachother. Unfortunately she couldn't get the time off work due to an emergency at work. Not that that's any of your business. I work in a bar and I'm a disabled vet. I live on a budget. This set me back half a weeks pay. Bad enough I can't see my partner this Christmas. But now I can't get money back that I could use for essentials. Thank you for ruining my holiday. I'll let the public know that you are essentially withholding the hard earned money of a disabled veteran. For no valid reason other than greed.
Warwick New York gave us a home-like feeling during our stay. The rooms were designed in a simple way. The lobby looked like your are just inside your house's living room! My husband and I highly appreciated the attitude of the staff that were very kind, friendly and accommodating. The food was nice as well as the bar. I will recommend Warwick New York to my friends and other relatives.
Enjoyed the rooms and restaurants. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We plan to stay here again!
Great room. Loved the service. Asked everyone in the lobby if they could help. Very attentive. Desk was fast.
The consierge's attitude in this hotel was horrific. He treated guests as if they don't belong here. Horrible service. (We stayed between 17-18 January 2020)
My favorite hotel in NYC. Class, charm and world class service.
It was a decent hotel, the photos hanging on the hallways with all the celebrities we're a nice touch.
The location of this hotel cannot be beat. Easy walking distance, even for a 5 year old, to two subway stations and Central Park, and not too far from Times Square as well. There are only three tiny elevators, with only two that were operational while we were there, but the room we stayed in was well beyond our expectations. It was quite large considering the location of the hotel, and the bathroom was nicely updated. The doormen and other staff members all helped make it feel like a 4 star hotel.
It was neat to walk a few blocks down from the hotel, and then look back at it. It clearly sticks out as a 90 year old building amongst a bunch of newer construction, but it holds its ground well.
Excellent hotel, staff and location. Great base for central park, times square & rockerfella centre. All within minutes walk
Amazing atmosphere, delicious garlic fries and $50 for a wine, a cocktail and fries. Definitely a NY experience
The Warwick transports you back in time to experience a decadent part of NY history. If you're looking for character and class look no farther. If you prefer the more cold, impersonal feeling of a striking contemporarily styled hotel...head down to Tribeca.
Room nice, location good, though need another bank of lifts. However as for the staff - where do you start. I have NEVER before encountered such a group of miserable, surly, unwelcoming and unfriendly people (aside from the guy with the beard who was usually organising taxi's - he actually said hello a couple of times!). On one occasion seeking advise from a concierge he simply ignored me and started talking to someone else on the phone. The rudeness was staggering. Don't get me started on the resort fee which was $190 for our family. Please remind me what this was for?
Chic, classic luxury New York hotel with a great location close to the Theater District, Time Square and Central Park. Service was top notch through the stay, the room was comfortable and clean. However having taken the basic room, it was basically facing a very close wall so there was hardly any daylight ever.
The gym (on the 3rd floor) was decent if you do cardio, but a bit lacking if you do any kind of weight beyond dumbbells. Was empty most of the time.
Haven't tried the breakfast, it was rather expensive and preferred getting something lighter and cheaper such as a cup of coffee at one of the many Starbucks across the road.
Not giving a full five star review because like some other luxury hotels, the Warwick charges extra for WiFi, which in this day and age is downright ridiculous.
Highly recommend! Great staff and service. Beautiful and clean rooms. Walking distance to so many attractions.
Are you looking to stay in the worst hotel in town?
Are you looking to have to deal with the worst service EVER?
If you said yes to either of these questions, you're definitely in the right place.
The staff (especially Vilma) was SO disrespectful and rude. We had to leave in the middle of the night at 11am because the heater wasn't working and she refused to change our room. I heard this hotel was awful but staying there made me realize just how run down and gross it is.
P.S- I heard 2 other hotel guests complaining about getting scammed by the hotel. Be careful.
When we entered the room there were staff hanging out in there. The bathroom clogged and i had to fill it with water just for it to flush. The toiletries werent high quality and the bathroom looked so old. Only good thing was the bed
Well priced. In a great location. Right in between central park and times square. And it's a 5 minute walk to one of the cheapest car garage parking. If you choose to pay the extra for a room with a view, try to request rooms facing the main street. I was supposed to get one of those rooms on the 24th floor. But due to miscommunication the room was not ready and I ended up getting a room in the middle of the building on the 19th floor. And paying the extra 20 bucks was definitely NOT worth the view I got. Hence why I have this place a 4 star. And due to covid. Breakfast is not included.
Nice big suites, very clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff.
I would give them 5 stars but 1 of 6 nights we had yellow water in the tub and sink. I had an in room coffee maker and after that I bought bottled water to make coffee. They gave us a $100 credit which was chump change to what the room costed. Went for the Macys parade and tourist attractions . The Location was great.
I was not an overnight guest. I was only here briefly to visit visit friends staying at the hotel. Doorman was welcoming, reception was helpful, and I liked that they had a larger lobby upstairs away from guests checking in and out. The hotel is nicely decorated with framed autographed photos of past celebrity hotel guests. My only suggestion would be that they raise the air conditioning in hot weather!
Ny city landmark. Room was nice but dark as it was interior on lower floor.
Stayed in room 911 and it's beautiful, great location, great service, great everything
Excellent hotel d first good service and good customer service a unique lugsr to spend it in partner flia and companion
Our room was huge and beautiful and had a great view of the street. Breakfast was expensive but I guess that's normal for NYC and it was quite good.
The hotel is very clean and the staff are really lovely! I recommend this place
Good stay. Location was key for us. Hollywood Nostalgic style decor. Overall a reliable pick.
Friendly staff, small room's, out dated bathrooms, and be prepared to pay an additional $25 per night plus tax on top of your reservation for the business room and gym even if you done use them and don't wish to use them. Many other hotel's in the area for less money and better accommodations.
It is a great hotel. Rooms are more spacious than they appear in the internet. Service is good but most everything is in the high end of the NY price scale.
