Imagine a hotel with Ritz-Carlton complex, but with a Motel 6 budget. I have never been one to post reviews, but for a resort we expected something of quality. The room was very spacious and upon first impression, we were pleased. That is...until we took a closer look. 1. The bed did not use a fitted sheet, but a top sheet as a fitted sheet. It was not even tucked in. 2. The wood wall paper is peeling. 3. Toilet was surface cleaned, but the bowl was definitely not scrubbed. 4. The restaurant staff was very short and boarderline disrespectful to the guests eating lunch. The best part of the stay was the delicious food at the restaurant. 5. Hotel shut off hot water with less than 24 hour notice. 6. Forced to valet your car with an additional $36 a night, or pay for non-garunteed street parking. On the plus side, valet staff was very welcoming and cheerful. 7. We were charged an $18 a night resort fee, for a pool that was under maintenance the whole time.
Overall very cool, chic place. Recently remodeled and very cozy for Christmas. They upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge - Andre at the front desk was very funny and helpful! Within walking distance to downtown as well as a bunch of restaurants in Cap Hill. Only complaint is that the tub didn't drain well, but other than that really enjoyed our stay.
Room is in an awesome location overlooking 18th and Grant. Plenty of space. Tile bathroom. Small walk in closet. Usual hotel appliances. Very soft pillows. Bed was a bit stiff for me. Most rooms will have a balcony according to receptionist Kay that I asked.
The Warwick is a little old, a little new and a little great. The building itself used to be the old Playboy Club in Denver and it retains a big of that old, Mad Men-esque aura. At the same time, the facilities are updated and stylish. The rooms are spacious and large and have all the amenities you'd want from a hotel. The balcony is a great perk for each room. The WiFi is fast. The pool and gym are passable (though not exceptional). The lobby area and bar are a little small, so I wouldn't count on hanging out there for hours. Having said this, the Warwick is a little on the high end for what you get. I felt like I could have paid $50 to $100 less per night and gotten the same thing elsewhere in Denver. The location is great, whether you have business to do or just want to be a little removed from the touristed downtown by the ballpark. You can walk to plenty of bars, restaurants and coffee houses, and you're a short Lyft from anything else you'd want to visit. Overall, the Warwick is a great choice to stay while you're in Denver. We had a great time there and would stay again without thinking twice.
Great happy hour! Parking meters on the street are free after 6!
Suite was large, restaurant/bar good service and food/drinks, perfect location
Great views and the restaurant attached is amazing as well.
The bed was extremely hard and we couldn't really sleep. The front desk didn' t seem to really care. We live in the mountains and I fly out of the DIA weekly. I wanted to surprise my husband with a night in Denver. We have been to many 4 stars in Denver and no way does this even come close to comparing. Thank you.
The renovation is fabulous, modern and sharp integrated beautifully with old bones, but it is the staff which makes this place great. The team at the rooftop bar, both Hanna and Ezra were fantastic... And the pool was heated to bathwater warm! Mike at the front desk and Nick over at Randolph's also made our stay extra special. And our bartender at Randolph's, a really sweet gentleman originally from Mexico, made our first dinner the thing that hooked us on the great service and kept us coming back - although I was too tired to retain his name. Thanks to you all for being amazing at hospitality! We know right where we will stay anytime we are in Denver!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, close to countless restaurants, bars, and sights to see. Beautiful hotel. Very nice rooms. Definitely worth the price.
Rooms and hotel need an update along with the astroturfing on the outside patios.
Really nice living space and bedroom. Balcony was nice and apparently on every room. Only use the stairs near the elevator unless there is an emergency. One end leads you through the kitchen and the other to an emergency exit.
Great hotel and excellent customer service. The only thing I wish, is to have more options for vegetarians on the Menu.
I am absolutely appalled by this hotels management. I previously wrote a review about being overcharged $350 by employee fault, Louis gave me his number for direct contact to resolve the issue. I called 3-4 times within the last week and have left 2 voice-mails with no answer or return call. I have been very patient with Warwick, It has now been over a month since these charges have been on my account. I will NEVER allow this company to have access to my card information again.
It is a nice hotel with comfortable rooms. The food is delicious!
Their slogan is urban retreat and that is exactly the experience. Friendly staff delight in serving guests and making your stay pleasurable.
If people saw what was covered up by this general manager no one would stay here. Its down rite disgusting. The whole hotel has water damage, mold, mildew. All the floors have issues with mold. And she just covered it up. This was shamefully the worst thing i was forced to do. If you have any kind of allergies this is not the hotel for you. There is plenty of other hotels to stay at for the same price, that do not have this kind of serious problems. I guarantee you will get sick if you stay at the Warwick. This place should be inspected by the city. They would fail miserably. I should know, i covered up quite a lot against my better judgement.
Loved this place so much that we are coming back this month.
Location was amazing it's just far enough out of downtown that it's perfect, rooftop pool was just big enough to get wet and have a good time and there's a bar up there! 25% of the reason that I even stay there is because the breakfast buffet that starts at 6:30 in the morning rocks. The hotel has nice free bike rentals just check all the adjustments before you take off. Room service and wait staff are on top of everything whatever you need it is taken care of fast.
Very happy with room and location. Free happy hour was very nice. Near lots of great restaurants. Easy to find free street parking nearby.
Pretty cool place. Jesse the valet is pretty cool. Needs a raise.
Wonderful place! I can t say enough about the staff, very accommodating! Rooms are super clean and beautiful. Highly recommend!
The rooms are amazing and the staff goes above and beyond! Very clean and cozy.
Stayed here in Denver while visiting, large hotel rooms with nice staff
The Warwick is an absolute amazing establishment. Everyone I so nice and welcoming. The only place I'll stay in Denver!
Beautiful room, and was very accomodating. Would definitely recommend.
Half price wine bottles on Wednesday. Close to great restaurants. Balcony is an added touch.
My adult children were visiting from Connecticut and they spent their last evening at the Warwick to experience downtown Denver. The morning that I pick them up for the airport, I parked in front of the hotel and an attendant invited me inside to wait for my children. My experience with the employees could not have been more pleasant and they were polite and accommodating. Both of my children said that the hotel was excellent.
In the heart of uptown Denver. Great room with a balcony for a great price! The hotel includes a bar and very nice Italian restaurant with plenty of outside dining (Covid times) in addition to the dining room. I experienced excellent housekeeping and customer service from the very capable staff. I highly recommend this hotel.
We loved the hotel and restaurant but what made the experience exceptional was the spectacular customer service. Every staff member we passed acknowledged us and tried to assist in some way. Coming from someone who s worked in the hospitality industry for the last 12 years, this hotel definitely has earned bragging rights. We definitely will return!
Gorgeous hotel with updated rooms. Amazing views. Also a balcony makes it unique.
Great and classy hotel right in downtown with amazing rates.
Rooms are very nice. Pool was closed which was a downer but renovations need to happen I suppose
Valet was very slow. Rooms were older. Not sparkling clean. They were overwhelmed by visitors from convention center. Location is pretty good.
We had an excellent experience. We were celebrating our anniversary and birthday. It was smooth sailing. The rooftop pool is what continues to call us back to the Warwick time and time again. It opens at 7am and closes at 10pm. We got up there about 7:30 AM. Considering the hotel was full of Phish concert-goers, we did manage to have the pool to just the two of us for at least an hour before others started joining us. The Pool Bar started opening about 10am. They were doing inventory when we headed back to our room. Check-in was smooth sailing. We were quite concerned about that as it had been an issue for other recent visits. The new restaurant is gorgeous, the breakfast buffet was beautiful. Request a higher level room to eliminate hearing street voices. We love Warwick Denver.
Not a bad place to stay - the balcony was less than nice, but at least it was there which was nice.
Room was recently updated and very comfortable. Very spacious room, bathroom, and balcony. Pool was small but clean and beautiful, and the pool deck was comfortable as well. Wonderful views of downtown Denver from the room and the rooftop pool. Bar service and room service was very fast.
Probably won't return. Extremely overpriced and the fees just seem to pile on.
Very spacious rooms, quality towels and linens, and....the best hotel breakfast buffet I've ever had. Do not miss the rooftop pool...a fun vestige of the building's past as a Playboy Bunny Club!
I'm loving the new remodels! My friend visits often, so I swing by to pick him up. It's a great location... Plus, I lived in Dallas before here and loved the one there as well.
Loved our stay! The staff was helpful with everything. Will be coming back and hoping to see some familiar faces.
Very good hotel, with excellent service. Reasonable price for the high quality and great location. Matt and Jackson at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I got settled in after a very long day. Quite happy!
Amazing customer service. You cant hear your neighbor which was amazing. The room was clean patio view was great. Valet parking was amazing and service was great. You reserved time to go to the pool that was nice to know they are abiding by social distancing laws I will not stay at another hotel but this one on our future staycations. And we meet some cool people there too all in all amazing stay.
First room was not clean. Got a second room wasn't much better . Need much up dating . Also no microwave in the rooms. They are first come first serve. But u pay 132.00 a night with no continental breakfast. Which was not a problem being they weren't that clean.
the hotel is nice. pretty cool valet and all the ammenities. the only problem i had was the pool. it says it is down for temporary maintenice. but its not. its never open. im guessing they dont want to shell out money for insurance. last year my friend went and said it was down for emergency maintenence. so i called before we went. and guess what? they said it was working fine and it hadnt been down for awhile. 2 weeks later i get there go up to the roof and bam. a sign was there saying it was down for maintenence. coincidence? i think not. if ur planing on using an awesome rooftop pool then dont go to the warwick. u will be dissapointed. also.... the balconys in the master suites was terrible. looked like it got hit by a hurricane. is replacing carpet really that expensive? for a 350$ room per night u would think they could afford it. but oh well. i will not be staying there again.
Pros - Big room, clean and good house keeping. Amazing view from the balcony. Great location Cons - Balcony door when closed had a gap - every time a police siren went off during the early hours it woke us up as it was like we had a window open. The front door of our room had gap of about 3 inches at the top side of the door - almost like a curve - which let the light in and again, anyone walking past in the night talking, we could easily hear. *We were credited back 20 dollars as a good will gesture by the front desk, it s just a shame that those two little things couldn t be fixed for such a popular hotel
It's rated as a four star hotel so I'm rating it with a expectations of a four star experience in mind. I'm told what septated a three star from a four star are the amenities and service. This is where the Warwick was lacking. It was a fine stay. I was just hoping to treat my family to a four star hotel which I do not believe this was. It's a cool old renovated building. We got a King suite for my family of five, which was very spacious. I had called ahead and told them we had five and was assured that the room was big enough, which it was, and would include a roll away. We had trouble getting blankets for the roll away and queen sleeper sofa. And when I say we had trouble I mean they never brought them, the did eventually bring an extra set of sheets for them. Luckily the air conditioner wasn't putting out cold air so we didn't end up needing the blankets. The front desk repeatedly told us that the hotel was fully booked, which I'm sure it was because it was busy, so they didn't have everything readily available (towels, pillows, and bedding). By our second day there we got all the towels we needed and pillows. (The room was properly set up for two on arrival.) The balcony was huge and the location is nice. Walking distance to great restaurants, shopping, and attractions. The pool is great for sun bathing and taking a dip. The pool bar is well stocked and the bartenders were more than capable. We got a good staycation deal on the rate from the hotel website.
Excellent hotel, very clean, modern, terrific location. Staff was very accommodating to us and to all guests. Great rooftop pool
Nice clean hotel friendly staff pool is really nice
Would recommend. Spacious rooms, roof top pool on 15th floor. Everything seemed very clean and staff was attentive. The balconies are large but have outdoor carpeting that absorbs water and gets dirty. Additionally, sitting on the balcony requires you to listen to a lot Motown from the restaurant on the ground floor.
Would love to give Warwick Denver good ratings but sadly this does not meet the standards of Warwick NYC. I travel alot and have stayed in many places and i actually love warwick in NYC , so while in Denver i booked a king suite and was disappointed. I would not by any means call their king suite a suite at all. Upgraded room yes but they could of invested in installation in the walls while doing construction. First night was exhausted from traveling tried to go to sleep but was kept up all night because you can literally hear everything on the 5th floor. You would expect a 4 star hotel not to over crowd rooms. I had to deal with the crying drunk for 2 nights in the next room and hear almost word for word everything. I didnt expect to be able to hear people utilize the bathrooms either but yes i had to endure hearing bowl movements. By day 2 i had it at 9am the fire alarm set off on the 5th floor. I told the group of people i was with to pack it up and lets head to a wyndham.. They never disappoint. I finished off my vacation at wyndham and enjoyed the rest of my stay. Now the pictures im posting are wyndham suites because thats a suite not what Warwick considers!!
Nice hotel located in down town Denver. High end, kind of spendy but nice hotel.
Visited friends staying at the hotel. The bar was eloquent and the service there was friendly and fast. The room looked nice and comfortable. Along with the lobby. Depending on the price point I would recommend others to this hotel.
Beautiful location for the price in denver. Clean and spacious rooms!! There are parking decks not even a block away for half the price of their valet service. No smoking on balcony as it is illegal here
Stayed two separate occasions. Second time I stayed, its blood lots of splatter at the top of ceiling in bathroom and bedroom from someone using a needle.
Our Apartment put us up here for a week while our apartment was being remodeled. Such a cute little suite. The hot powerful shower is the BEST! I appreciated the rooftop swimming pool access by reservation to accommodate social distancing. The bed was roomy and not too uncomfortable. I wish there were more options for room service other than the Gatara Restaurant. The strong coffee in the morning was tasty and hot. Brandon the desk clerk was very accommodating and always ready to help. Everyone was pretty friendly. Some things to work on is making sure the sanitizing dispensers are filled daily. They were full the first day but no more after that. Room service trays are left in the hallway way too long. I wish that the hotel would require face masks from guests while walking around the hotel. Outside of those things if I was vacationing in Denver I would stay here time and time again. Thank you for a comfortable stay while we were displaced briefly.
Rooms are nice, comfortable bed, nice skyline view, only complaint is water pressure in the shower is a little much
Extremely nice and spacious rooms with a very large balcony. Great downtown location!
My experience was wonderful. The staff at the front desk are very accommodating and always sure to welcome you back Thanks Warwick,Denver!
I'd give this hotel 0 stars if I could. I booked through booking.com for a trip in April. Unfortunately I fell very sick and tested positive for COVID19. I called the hotel to request a refund, but they referred me to booking.com. I explained my situation to booking.com and they reached out on my behalf - the hotel would still not refund me. I called the hotel again myself to plead with them. I am very sick, with medical bills piling up, and they still would not refund me. When I begged one last time and told them I just wanted my money back, they said no. I asked if they thought it was appropriate if I came and there as a covid19 positive guest and they said ok. I personally will NEVER book a stay here again. Clearly they do not care about the safety of their guests or employees. Lorna (or Lavern) - I hope your bosses pull the recorded line of our phone call when you thought it was ok to invite in a COVID positive guest.
After reading these reviews and the mistreatment of that family I'm not sure I would want to stay here. Read that there was a mouse in a guest room too.
There's no way this could be a 5 star due to the cleanliness of the room for starters. Stains on the carpet, marks on the walls, just overall is an older hotel and it shows. Its in a good location, seemed to be 10 min or less to everything we needed. $25 valet parking per day or meter parking $1 per hour but free on weekends. The staff was helpful and quick with anything we needed. Overall nice to stay for price and location but not If you're looking to impress or show off. Basic at best
Loved it. The rooftop pool was amazing and the staff was very friendly! We got a standard room and it was very spacious. My only complaint was that the elevator took forever. But other than that, my stay at The Warwick was great.
Huge hotel room and balcony. Excellent hot chocolate in restaurant. Great front desk experience. Highly recommend
This is a Hidden Gem of a hotel in Central Denver. Its proximity to entertainment restaurants and bars is excellent. There are free buses that run down nearby streets linking the hotel to the 16th Street Mall and other attractions a two-block walk away.
Close to Uptown and Capital Hill, this hotel is great if you are into the hipster or LGBT scene. The hotel is slightly pricy but well known for service in the community.
Wonderful hotel and great staff! This place is at a great location and the restaurant downstairs is delightful.
Hood bir the pool isn't family friendly. And it's not as big as in the pictures .but was my room
Nice place but going through a Reno so get s room that's been done.
Hotel was renovated and looks nice. Some outlets in my room didn't work and the fridge was tiny. Besides that it is a great location.
Room 720, very large, comfortable, fabulous bar area, walk in closet, sitting area was very nice, balcony was amazing.
Cozy hotel for staying overnight 1 or 2 nights but not for a longer stay. The hotel manager is very ezcentric and odd!
I stayed at the Warwick for multiple days. This also coincided with the 4th of July weekend so it was a pretty busy weekend. I had an incident concerning the 3rd party booking agency I made my reservations with and communication w the hotel. Rather than post negatively about the experience, I want to call attention to how well it was managed by the Warwick team. The receptionist Megan was professional and curteous. She was nonstop busy at front, and she made sure to prioritize my issue and inform the manager on duty. Liz the manager on duty was amazing! She not only actively listened as I explained everything, she empathised and immediately went to work on resolving the issue addressed. I was impressed by her thoroughness, professionalism, and customer service. Also, Eddie with room service. On both occasions that I interacted with him during my stay, he was professional, polite and had a postive demeanor. Seeing how this team kept the best composure during a visibly busy weekend was refreshing. That level of quality service alone would be the reason I visit Warwick Denver again!
Parking is available from the valet for $37.00 a day. There are multiple paid lots near the hotel, as well as metered street parking. Check-in during the stay was slow. There was one person at reception, and about 10-15 guests waiting to check-in at the beginning of check-in time, 3:00 PM. This process was slowed by housekeeping, who hadn't inspected the rooms reserved for the night. Guests waited 10-15 minutes after checking in for housekeeping to notify the front desk that the rooms were cleaned and ready to be occupied.
