Does the job perfectly.
Only issue, pool is small and gets very busy.

Period public pool that is very popular with the locals. Mostly closed during 2020 restrictions, upgrades and repairs will be completed in 2021.
Great Victorian style swimming pool in the heart of Edinburgh. Built in 1887 but given a modern upgrade in recent years and a popular daily swimming venue for many locals. Also the original home to Warrender Baths Club, one of Scotland's most famous swim teams.
The gym and pool are really small and too warm. The dry changing room is also really small and the floors always wet. The reason I have given it four stars is because of the sauna. Every trip to Warrender is worth it because of the sauna.
Great for a swim in covid times, staff are polite and calm.
The pool is not that big and there were a lot of classes on most of the times that I go there but its a good price and the gym is a good size. wish parking was better, had to pay every time that I go.
Lovely Victorian swimming pool. Glorious to swim at on a sunny day with the glass roof! Staff were really helpful regarding new Covid procedures and it all felt very safe. Everyone has their own distanced cubicle, which are cleaned between bookings.
I will always remember here as "Warrender Bath's", not the now posh "Swim Centre" !
I'm so glad that it's still there, as l went with my pals, 40 plus years ago every Saturday morning.
It used to be 40 minute sessions and always remember the cubicles being freezing when you came out the water.
Still, it's a cracking pool and a lovely pool, with the glass roof, so when the sun shines it's great.
Highly recommend a visit, when times get better for us all.
Warrender is a Victorian building but the interior has been extensively modernised. The gym is small but has a good range of equipment. The pool is only 25 yards with 6 lanes.Sometimes these are set up as a fast lane, a slow lane and 4 lanes for general swimming. The diving boards and the Turkish bath are no longer there. Those were the days!
Beautiful old victorian building. Pool is a good temperature and very clean. It feels fairly covid secure with booked times for swimming. Can be a bit challenging if the lanes are busy though as there is only a slow or a fast lane - I need a medium one!
