If you think flying to Treviso is a good idea for Venice think again. It's miles away. Pay the extra and fly to Marco Polo and save over an hour and you get the bonus if arriving at Marco Polo of being able to get the taxi bus into Venice. Which is a much nicer way to arrive. Won't be going to Venice via Treviso again personally as the airport itself is small and there was no where to sit, food was expensive plus security staff were rude.

The airport is small as it is a backup of Venice airport and mainly served by low cost companies.
The space inside is proportional with the airport size but for sure there very few seats for the waiting.
Services inside are just fine, a couple of cafe and a restaurant (They are all quite pricey).
There are 4-5 parking areas in front and behind the airport, but I think they are very well organized and have different kind of fares.

I had gone through this airport while visiting Venice through Ryan Air. Mainly budget airline carriers go through this airport. So it is small. But the luggage handling was OK. The only problem is the bus to Venice is served by ATVO, which charges exorbitant prices, e.g., 12 euro to reach mestre. The connectivity to the main city must be improved.

5 stars just for arriving from this airport. It was quick and smooth for me. Very easy to find AVTO bus to the center.

UPDATE: I also spend a great time in the airport. It is small but it has everything that we need. The staffs on site were actually nice and friendly. After security check, u walk through a duty free shop and then u will see cafes and restaurants on the right.

One thing I will suggest them is to add more seatings because it was so crowded.

This airport is simply put, not equipped to handle the amount of flights scheduled. Security is almost consistently overwhelmed by the number of passenger and it s near impossible to find a seat while waiting post security. Staff are friendly, but what more can they do other than smile.

The only advantage to thos airport is its size. It's small and so you can handle how bad it is... - if lucky and you don't share boarding time with other flights. The number of flights the local services, premises and staff was designed and trained for is one in an hour. Else, you can be only licky to get a seat while waiting, not to nudge anybody while moving and not to wait for the toilets.

Airport opens at 6am. If you have the first flight of the day, and come with the first bus that arrives at 5am, you have to wait outside in the cold, which is not normal.

Besides, the morning system was pretty inefficient, since we waited 25min for security to get opened, and even after it did they only opened one gate for 2 later flights - 1h later than ours that were already queued in (?!)
