The process for purchasing my property with walsh was not easy. There were long waits for the concerns i had and expensive services. I was not aware of a lot of things while going through the finalization but they didn't make it any easier. Great location for sure for the office. Amazing view

I m an active commercial mortgage broker that deals very regularly with Sheena Chartrand and Ane. Cannot say enough great things about them. I started working with Sheena several years ago as council for the lender on our first transaction together - since we have done a ton more and I always recommend her to my commercial clients. I find her not only extremely diligent, knowledgeable and quick, but very upfront and easy to talk to. Have worked with many lawyers due to the line of work, Sheena is truly the best.
I can not in good conscience recommend this law firm to anyone. I signed on in February of this year with Walsh to seek support with a very complicated divorce and custody case. After my initial consultation I went 5 weeks before I heard any word back. I found out in an email that my lawyer had left the firm and I was reassigned to a new lawyer who again was not responsive in any way. I had to repeatedly request some kind of understanding as to where my case was, but they continued to ignore me. You make you feel like you do not matter and the work that was done was without any effort or care just a snap response that lead to more confusion on both sides. My children and I have no support and feel very exposed and without help or security in our case.
I left feeling that this firm demonstrated a true lack of care for their clientele. The legal assistant was very unkind and unprofessional. No one answers calls or emails and the only real form of communication I received were invoices for work that I never saw or was privy to. I was never informed about any actionable evidence this work was actually happening. Just a bill.
After spending thousands my case has not moved even one step forward. I have left to a new firm and I feel very taken advantage of. I have recieved more support in one week with my new firm then I have in the last 5 months with Walsh. I am so disappointed by their absolute lack of care for their clients.
They charged us a rush fee for receiving the documents late from the bank, which was not even our fault. We didn't mind to pay the fee at all because the bank said we would get reimbursed. I had to get the bank a receipt or a letter, indicating that we did pay the fee to this firm. I contacted their legal assistants for a receipt, but they sent me a useless document which had no indication of the rush fee payment. I emailed them again, but they didn't respond. I sent them another email to follow up, but no response again. I called them and left a couple of voicemails to of the legal assistants, but she didn't return my call. All of this took almost four weeks. When I called a different legal assistant who had also helped us with the purchase, she was extremely rude. She was aware of the whole thing because I had cc-ed her in my emails. Instead of apologizing for making me wait for almost four weeks and more importantly for not even responding to my emails/calls, she told me I wasn't their priority and she wouldn't be able to send it to me any time soon. I ended the call by saying that I would stop by their office to speak to the lawyer directly. Guess what? They sent me the letter after half an hour. It was extremely frustrating to have to follow up with them that many times because they refused to respond. More frustrating was the phone call. Try to avoid this firm. The legal assistants -- at least the two I was in contact with -- were very unprofessional. I'm not surprised to see other one-star reviews here by other people who had similar post-purchase experiences.
BAD Experience!! We retained Walsh for the purchase of a Condo from Carlisle Group. Due the delay in title registration by Walsh, our Mortgage approval had expired and had to get approval again costing us time and money. I would never deal with this Law office again.

I was first represented by Stephen Page, and later with Laura Brown. I have found both lawyers to be knowledgable, well prepared, empathetic and helpful in navigating my very complicated legal battle. This past summer (2019) they represented me in a custody trial and I feel that I could not have asked for a better legal team.
Divorce and custody is often complicated and an emotional process that is hard to navigate. I truly cannot thank my lawyers enough for their support and ongoing help with my case.
I would recommend Walsh LLP to anyone. While hiring a lawyer can be costly, I have always felt heard and well represented by my lawyers at Walsh, and it has been worth it.

We won! Ashley was a great provider in trial court for Family Family court. She was caring and detailed but most of all did a great job of representation. She was well versed in this area and experienced with this judge. Her style was attentive and she was well educated and quite experienced.
Trial court can be difficult but we did exactly what I hoped for.
