Interesting and intriguing exhibits are in this museum, along with cinema shows. It also has a restaurant in it's premises. I enjoy going to this museum.

I haven't been inside the Walker in a few years, but the sculpture garden is a great, free, way to experience a variety of cool art. It's worth going just to see the iconic spoon bridge and cherry.
Great place with intriguing galleries, really enjoying the, "I Am You, You Are too."
Art amidst the drifts
O snow
BEYOND amazing. I loved having the chance to walk through all the art and read about everything. Great place to have a date if you like art!
I enjoyed playing golf on the roof and also many floors of fun art. Minus the little asian girl with an attitude monitoring the art gallery. (art police)
After many years of paying for admission 2 or 3 times a year, I finally became a member! So happy that I did so now I can go whenever the urge hits me. This year was the first time I attended the British Arrow Awards and I will definitely go again. My favorite exhibit was the International Pop Exhibit a few years ago. I also enjoy an afternoon in the sculpture garden then sitting outside on the patio for dinner and a beer afterwards.
Very friendly staff and great exhibits out right now. Would have liked to spend more time here.
If you enjoy pottery then have fun exploring a variety of coffee mugs and trays.
delectable! Was lovely exploring around and having quiet time to sit and reflect amongst art
Love the recent remodel! Beautiful new restaurant overlooking the hills and some fresh new art exhibits to check out.
Who doesn't love big fun and some interactive art?!!! Peaceful, enlightening, and entertaining.

Walked the sculpture garden. Had a great time viewing all the sculptures. The wind chimes in the tree was a favorite.
Great venue with lots of parking! Love the new layout and restaurant!
The exhibit we attended was amazing. The place is clean and they also have a cafe' inside.
The Walker Art center is a refreshing take on the modern art gallery. The exhibits are well-organized and insightful.
Great place, spoiled by lousy service at the restaurant bar. When you ask what wine they have, the barman throws a menu at you on the bar. Having served three others before finally returning and taking the order, he then pours a half full glass of wine for you. Why? Because he couldn't be bothered to open another (screw-top) bottle. Having queried why, he says, "Sorry, that's what you get" and walks off. $10 for half a glass? Having walked away to see others with full glasses, I returned and complained to his manager, who filled the glass. Hey, if you don't enjoy your job, get another one. Otherwise, a nice place, cool interior to the auditorium and another great Brits Award screening.
Good place for something different. Nice collection
Excellent gallery space if you are a fan of contemporary art. Can't wait for the sculpture garden to reopen!
Under construction now (6/16) but home of the famous cherry spoon. Need I say more
Saw British Arrow Awards. Parking lot is a disaster, not enough kiosks and they need attendants.
A great looking building the exhibits on the day I was there were definitely different but amazing. Has a decent gift shop and cafe/bar for refreshments and food.
Easily one of the best museums in the nation. Love coming here on Thursdays!
Great museum, with an amazing architecture - though you might get lost. Fun gift shop, and very interesting exhibitions, ESPECIALLY the one on the Gorilla Girls... I recommend!
PS: don't forget - Thu nights are FREE ENTRANCE from 4 to 8pm.
We went the first Sunday of the month and there was no charge. This was a great surprise. Walking the art garden was the best part for me.
It is definitely modern and contemporary art. The first Saturday of the month it is free. Why not go? I recommend having a beer before you see the art.
It was beautiful and has such unique art pieces. Definitely a must see.
Always love going here, so many exhibits to see throughout the year and great programs
Engaging modern art, fun mini golf, fun store, and nice bar.
I think in about 5 or so years if this place keeps accumulating larger art pieces this will be a really cool place to go for a walk, it's a little bare at the moment though.
World class sculpture garden , I like it better than the Hirschorn in WDC. Photo friendly.
Unique place. Saw a play there. Seems like all theater seating is pretty decent.
Various sculptures spread across an area so not crowded. Perfect in the warm weather for a picnic and pretty in the winter w/ snow.
Just went for a walk here in the evening. Safe and wonderfully fun outdoor art to look at.
Never regret visiting and always feel like I should get back here more often than I do!
I'd never been before, I like that it's free since so many places aren't, the exhibits we're really neat!
Great art museum but not for everyone. Very modern. If anything it s worth going for the outdoor sculptures.
We love the British Arrows. Be prepared to have to hunt for a parking spot or pay up.
From the Garden of Sculptures to the galleries, everything is art and spaces very well thought for visitors
Very beautiful we have not been we should make that a place to visit. This place should definitely go on your bucket list.
Awesome place to visit but was a lot better before the remodel.
Loved the exhibitions( it was on the psychedelic 70s) when i was there oct2015.
The place is a good way to spend 3 to 4 hours inmersing yourself in minnesotan art and american counter culture/history
I like the events more than the museum but the museum is nice too... i love the cafe, they give a good amount of food for your buck. My one dissapointment is the gift shop overpriced and underwhelming. I like leaving with something to remember my visit... nothing was worth it.
If you are going for the mini golf .get there early they will sell out
I was there during the pride parade lots to see and do
First time here! Really enjoyed it and looking forward to returning and checking out the sculpture garden.
I saw multiple John Zorn shows here. Do I need more reason to give it 5 stars?
Edit: And just finished seeing Merideth Monk. Wish that I could another 5 stars.
Edit 2: and Henry Threadgill!
Art inside can be extremely esoteric(up its own a$$). Not worth the money unless that's what you're into. Good news it's free on TH evenings and first Saturday of every month! Sculpture garden is free year round too and has a lovely bridge leading to loring park. Great spot to just hang out with friends.
A Minnesota staple and must visit. Nice event venue space as well.
Another great museum in the area, the sculpture garden is very cool, and during recent summers they have had local artists design a mini-golf course.
On thursdays after 5 pm, admission is free for everyone which is a great deal considering the somewhat high price of the exhibits during the rest of the week. I like how large the museum is and there are several really interesting temporary exhibits
The most ugly and dull museum I've ever seen in my whole life all over the world. Total profanation about art:( DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME
