Beautiful place to visit. Wait until the weather is nicer if you planning to visit. Learn about history and travel back in time. Widnes your views of decorations and people 'skills and lifestyle. Amazing place to spend some time. Garden is beautiful. Go and visit this beautiful place. Great day out for children as well.
An easy drive from London and well worth the effort. We went at Christmas time so the house was filled with Christmas trees, laid tables and mulled wine! Too often you go to stately homes and there are bare rooms, not here, a great sense of the opulence that the house was built for. The house is only a small part of the experience as the grounds and the ability to roam are superb. In addition, the ladies that stand in every room as custodians are very helpful and chatty.
Waddesdon is well worth a visit it is treasure trove of the most fabulous furniture and art. It is a little part of France in the heart of the English countryside with beautiful gardens and a wonderful restaurant. A great bay out for all the family.
Piece of art. Beautiful place would reccomend families with kids. Easy access, loads of facilities, drinks, food. Small shops. Good day out
Great afternoon. Manor look great dressed up in Christmas finest. Light shows were great. Crowd big but manageable. Transport to car park plenty full and frequent.
Lots of areas to see different lights/declarations and many places to eat/hide from the rain!
What an incredible place - truly stunning architecture and the grounds are magnificent. A wonderful way to spend a day
Beautiful grounds, came here for the Luna Cinema so didn't see inside the Manor. Excellent experience, completely breathtaking views
Always a lovely day day first time for the Christmas lights and illuminations and didn't disappoint
Beautiful place to visit ....the manor is awesome and the gardens so pretty and a pleasant walk area..wheelchair and scooter friendly ....
Lovely house with beautiful gardens. All the staff were wonderful.
Nicely maintained, well-kept, richly equipped place.
National trust house with lovely grounds. They have a great chilli festival in the summer
Fantastic place to visit inside the house and in the gardens
We had a lovely visit apart from the wet weather. We had a nice lunch in the Stables cafe, had a good tour of the House, and a very good lecture by Adele Moss on the Rothschild family.
A beautiful venue & we enjoyed our tasty sandwiches & carrot cake.. Looking forward to our next visit!
Worth a visit, large well kept grounds and a spectacular looking house. Big car park which is a fair uphill walk from house. Good cafe and toilets a bit slow due to vivid.
Great for a walk, Christmas market a bit disappointing
Fabulous illuminated evening walks over the Christmas period.
Absolutely brilliant and amongst the very best NT properties I've been to. Really well dressed rooms with many interesting artefacts and extremely well informed room guides. Good restaurant and cafes make a great day out.
Impressive grounds and stately home. The house visit felt too crowded for a ticketed event. The Christmas lighting was really good but the Christmas themed trails and festival were rather underwhelming. Overall a good day out but some missed opportunities
Good Market, good food. The manor house is beautifully decorated with Christmas trees and lights!
Very busy noshade when queing for coffee you must have some spare sun umbrellas one lady left que as too hot.. othherwise had a great day pleasant staff
We went there for the Christmas market. The parking was well organised as were the courtesy buses. The market was ok but needed a bigger variety if stalls for me.
Beautiful national trust estate and manor. Plenty of gardens to walk around and exotic birds to see. Ice-cream from the stables was delicious and we found the tucked away children's park which was very cleverly done with plenty of stuff to keep young and old amused
Incredibly friendly staff when buying tickets! Lovely well kept grounds.
Fantastic manor, grounds amazing so much to do and see
Great place to visit for festive entertainment at this time of year (Christmas). Beautiful decorations in the house, a fun treasure hunt for kids, and spectacular sound and light show projected onto the front of the building once dark. Very well organized, and coped well with a power cut- didn't spoil the evening!
An almost magical place, particularly at Christmas. The grounds alone are special and has a great play park for kids. The house is stunning.
Great atmosphere at the Christmas market. Everything was so well organised including the car parking arrangements.
A good day out. The gardens are spectacular with a avery and large expanses of lawn and planting. Avery nice lunch in the caffe and there is a more upmarket restraunt for those who want a treat. The house itself is a must see with some spectacular interiors.
I am a full time wheelchair user and access was very very good even for my large power chair even in the house. The lift which is an orriginal feature of the house has plenty of room which alows access to the upper floors. Good car parking with a good accessible bus to the house itself.
Visited during a day volunteering with Network Rail and surprised I didn't find or know about this place sooner. Amazing gardens and Manor, nice little avaries with an interesting collection of birds.
Absolutely stunning place to visit. Christmas Market was more food than we were expecting but, delicious all the same. Love going in the winter for the lights and the summer for picnics.
Thank you Waddesdon for doing a great job keeping the grounds open so that locals can get some walks in... Socially distanced, safe... Long may you continue... Beautiful place never ceases to amaze
Fabulous light show over the Christmas period as always
Excellent from start to finish. Wonderfully lit house with Xmas music in the grounds, meant a very Xmassy feeling. The Xmas stalls added to the festivity. Last but not least the Winter lights trail in the forest was great. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating, and the whole operation is well organised from start to finish.
An absolute belter of a day out and in fact to see everything properly you will need more than one visit, the house itself is full of the most exquisite paintings, clocks, furniture and architectural delights you don't know where to look next!, I would recommend to anyone to go and visit this house as it's probably arguably one of the best in the country, five stars national trust!
Very beautiful place but very hot today people are very friendly would recommend
Such a lovely place to visit, spotlessly clean . Love that I can take my dog too.
Beautiful decorations and delicious afternoon tea. Fabulous Christmas trees and wonderful atmosphere.
Great place to spend a day. Car park is a distance from the house. Take the free bus there and walk back.
Went for the Christmas event. Nice time. Parking very muddy.
Great place for a day out, good walks and fantastic landscape

Amazing old Manor. All decorated for Christmas and an excellent light show.
Lovely gardens but a lifeless house and unforthcoming guides
Great place to visit don't forget to book your house slot..
Great Christmas vibe with the market and light displays.
Terrific gardens that are worth the visit alone loads to See and do ,the free talks are informative and delivered with undoubted passion.
Gorgeous scenery. Save yourself time waiting for the free shuttle bus up to the house and take a walk on the winding footpath up to the house. Christmas art installations very impressive, lots of things to do and see.
Lovely grounds, lots for children to do and exhibition in the house were good
Will definitely be back. Looking forward to there Christmas fair in November. The house will be lit up and wooden stalls. Can t wait. The wine cellar is amazing.
We visited at Christmas and at the summer feast event. Both very good but after paying to see the Xmas event the lights trail wasn't working.
Stunning places. A great day out for the WHOLE family
A beautiful house. Amazing rooms. Fabulous grounds.
great day out even in murky weather!! unusual art exhibits, trail for the children and an aviary
Lovely place, very well organised for current limited opening. Takeaway food high quality as usual for NT. Grounds beautiful especially aviary and fountain. Good little art exhibition. All very safe.
