Many thanks to Eric and Alex in the Service department for taking great care of use through a complicated repair process! My daughter began receiving a check engine light on a recently purchased used car shortly after taking possession from a Waconia Dodge affiliate. The troubleshooting was lengthy and difficult and the warranty company was balking about coverage. Eric and Alex (and the rest of the team at Waconia Dodge) were terrific in identifying and fixing the issue and working with the warranty company to make sure they covered it as they were supposed to. They helped assure what was likely a multi-thousand dollar repair into a successful warranty claim that cost me nothing out of pocket. My daughter and I can't thank you both enough! It's been several weeks now and the error code has not returned.
My wife and I recently purchased a 2011 Dodge Durango from John Fahey at Waconia Dodge. John made sure he understood what we were looking for in a vehicle and found the right vehicle for us. We never felt any pressure to buy. We just finished trading our 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited in for a new 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Ethan drives the same Jeep vehicle as well, so he had hands on experience with the model and its features. This new Jeep is a blast to drive, and should be great for our MN Lake Country, winters and fishing on hard water.

Don t go here to buy a car! The salesman I worked with was extremely hard to contact. And then when I finally was able to settle on a vehicle and attain financing, they sold the car out from underneath me. Of course, they tried to sell me another vehicle. Lost a sale with me!

Eric and Steve are two of the most honest, decent and trustworthy individuals I have every worked with (and I work in the automotive world). I trust them implicitly to never do work that isn't needed and to always stand behind what they and their crew perform. The Strong family is a genuine asset to Waconia. Yes, you can find "great deals" at many dealerships, but it's what comes after that matters in the long run, the long-term relationship that keeps you on the road and happy. Chris Weinberger did a fantastic job assisting me with my purchase. There were a number of minor issues with the vehicle after I took posession of the vehicle, and Chris worked hard, after the sale, to make sure my concerns were resolved in a timely manner.
Beware of this dealer if you're expecting integrity and respect. I spoke to a salesperson, Gabe, yesterday morning about seeing a used Dodge Ram that afternoon. We agreed on a time and when I arrived there was another customer looking at the truck. Gabe assured me that I had inquired about the truck first and had right of first refusal. I waited almost 30 minutes to test drive it. Gabe drove the truck for half of the test drive and received several calls/texts on his phone while I drove the truck. He tried to show us other trucks when we arrived back at the dealership. I explained I was in a hurry having driven from St. Paul, waiting for the test drive, and that I wanted to buy the truck. We worked on paperwork for about 20 minutes before Gabe told me they sold the truck to another customer. I understand there is a possibility that a truck could be sold between the time I first inquired and had a chance to physically get there. In that case, just be honest and don't give me the right of first refusal. Unfortunately, Gabe literally and figuratively "took me for a ride" instead. I spoke to Dave, the sales manager, afterwards and he really could have cared less about my experience. So if you're expecting integrity and respect from a dealer, look elsewhere.

BUT- Bob Suko over at Waconia Dodge made my experience a 10 out of 10. I CANNOT emphasize enough what ethics in the auto industry means and how important it is. I highly recommend Bob and his team. They are honest, open and extremely knowledgeable. And for the record, we bought a CHEVY at a Dodge dealership- absolutely love it!

My husband and I walked in without having done much research yet, just happened to be passing by. We were introduced to Ethan Vilmain and he was wonderful to work with. We saw another employee who was either with another person when we came in or came in after who had that "shady" look about him and although we only over heard him we are so happy we got Ethan. Just goes to show that someone may look older and more experienced they may not be what they seem. When we're ready to purchase our next new vehicle we're definitely going to work with Ethan again and would recommend him to anyone. Our experience was not done once the sale was made. Ethan made sure to ensure our car was detailed, and filled up before we were done. And even followed up and when we came in to pick up our plates he remembered us and quickly helped us out at that time as well. It was the best experience at a dealership I've ever had.

Very poor experience. As a retired veteran I would highly discourage anyone for doing business here. Their sales tactics are distasteful and insulting, their follow through and communication was offensive and showed a total lack of respect towards military men and women. Look elsewhere!

I finally decided which car I wanted, but another dealership blew me off. I had trouble finding a AWD Charger until I stumbled on Waconia Dodge's website. I inquired online, but quickly drove out to see the car without waiting for a response. The first salesman recognized my name and hooked me up with the salesman who responded to my e-mail. I immediately realized this was an ethical business and was impressed. Mike walked me through the ins and outs of the car, held it until we closed on our house, and Waconia worked with us through our electronic bank loan. The entire process was pleasant and stress-free. I highly recommend doing business here, even if you have to travel.
I made an appointment on Monday for a Wednesday service call. After scheduling I was provided with a message stating someone would contact me to confirm my appointment. That confirmation did not happen. I decided to go to the dealer for my appointment. They got my car serviced and they were very fast. Good service, just not good communication.

I spoke with Greg Grillo a couple days previous to us buying a new van. He met me and was interested in what I was looking for down to mileage and price. That afternoon a vehicle popped up exactly what I wanted and I inquired on it. We went in to look at the vehicle and the price just wasn't what we had in mind. Another vehicle just became available when we were ready to start looking back on the market possibly elsewhere and he was very helpful in making sure it was what we wanted or how to make it what we wanted in a new family vehicle. I purchased a new 2013 Ram 1500 from this dealership and specifically chose them because you get that individualized treatment. They are not one of those "supermarket" dealers that have every brand available. They are very personal and its more of a hometown dealership feel. Very low pressure and honest salesmen. I worked with Chris Weinberger and he followed through on everything he said he would do. He was very easy to work with. Their servie manager, Eric, is also exceptional. He personally emails you and wants to make sure your problems are taken care of. This is a great dealership.

Visited the dealership two weeks ago and was greeted by Mike Wille and had an opportunity to explain what I was looking for and he took over from there. I gave him the specifics on the van that I was looking for , what options that I wanted and most importantly how I wanted to purchase the vehicle and he made it all happen without any hassle. They didn't have the van I was looking for in stock but they went out and found it at another dealership and got it for me. From there they added a couple of options that I wanted and within a week I had my new van. When I arrived to pick up my new van the process was easy and quick from getting the papers signed and Mike took special care in explaining all the features on the van , which was very helpful. From start to finish purchasing a car at Waconia Dodge Chrysler Jeep was no pressure, great to work with and I would recommend this dealership very highly. Having started my search for a new van with dealerships in the Minneapolis area I can tell you that they don't compare to the overall treatment that I got at Waconia!

Everyone at Waconia Dodge is fantastic to work with, expecially Shane Lynch and Keane. We have been pondering a new car for quite a while and though that we know what we wanted and right out of the gate, they helped us figure out what we don't need, which was really helpful.

I would recommend this Service Dept and Service Manager Eric. They addressed me within 60 seconds after arrival. Personally explained all issues as repairs were performed and needed my input. Even Service Tech sent me a Text asking if I had any questions. Hard to find Businesses like that today's world.

They don't go the extra mile. I had to ask 3 times for them to inflate my tires on the 2016 jeep I was buying. They also didn't fill the gas tank, which is not a good look. My sister bought a jeep from a different dealership a week ago, and that dealership filled her gas tank completely.
They didn't update the software of my Uconnect app/screen to the latest version either, and didn't tell me my jeep came with a 3 month Uconnect access trial.
