Very clean and streamlined hotel units. Views of downtown core. Front desk friendly and professional. Has a food/bar in lobby. Rooms reasonably priced. Seems to cater to millennial generation, feels hip/sassy.

The hotel is in a great location and has good sized rooms with a contemporary feel. However the rates would suggest a slightly more luxurious stay than what I experienced. The gym is very crowded in the morning and the bathrooms are a little dated.

Nice hotel with good location. Similar comments to other reviews. Hotel is a bit older and seems to be retrofitted. Interior of the room is probably closer to a Sheraton or Westin. Friendly and helpful staff.

Meh. Service at the front desk was okay though nothing to write home about. Room was fine, nice bed. We tried to order off the room service menu that was open until 1:30am, but they said the chef left and they had us order off a different menu. Long story short we got one milkshake which ended up costing $25. Crazy. If it hadn't been a birthday celebration we wouldn't have gone for it ,but we were feeling celebratory I suppose. Anyway with all the great choices in Seattle I can't think of a reason to stay at The W again.

Booked the room from across town on the phone. I was told it would be one of their better view rooms, and that the price would be $500 with taxes and fees. As we were running into full hotels at every turn, and needing to settle in for the night, I agreed.

I arrived at the Valet area to find no one there. Waited next to my car as two more cars stacked in behind it. A kid came out of the lobby and told me they were full, and he had no idea where I could park. I had to convince the people behind me to back up, so I could go in search of a parking garage. After two tries, I finally found a spot in a garage that belonged to a car detail shop. I was told I could only park there until 9AM, and would have to move then. $26 for the night.

I walked two blocks in the rain to the W lobby, and found it so loud, it was nearly impossible to communicate with the desk clerk. A horrible DJ was playing music way too loudly to the hotel's tiny bar. No one seemed to be as much as bobbing their heads to the music. It's not that I don't like DJ music. I love going to clubs. This guy was just bad.

After a no-apology check in, after explaining my parking problem, I was sent to a room with a view of the air conditioning unit next door. The room reeked of pot, and whatever the hell they used to try to hide the odor. Kind of a stale bong water/Lysol mix.

From there, everything was OK until a car alarm outside the hotel went off until the car's battery died.

This is the kind of management you might expect if the city of Seattle had only one hotel. As there are many, I will never go back.

The conference rooms are nice chairs could be more comfortable. Not sure about the catering. Taste was ok but after eating lunch yesterday I couldn't sleep with an upset stomach then pukey... Then... Didn't have anything else. I had to let the servers know that the breakfast fratata and potatoes were ice cold. Decent place but they really need to look at their catering practices.

Location is nice Walking distance to the Pier, Pike Place, Chinatown and Centurylink Field. The rooms are nice and modern with plenty of room. Everything is nice and clean. Staff is very nice and helpful. Only giving 3 of 5 stars because it is 2019 and they still try to charge $15 for Basic Internet or $19 for high speed internet unless you are part of their membership rewards. Not to mention the $250 dollar a night plus $69 dollar Valet for 24 hours... (Writing this review from the hotel room on my hotspot because I cant believe you have to pay for Wifi.)

Update: Hopefully you don't get one of the rooms close to the Fitness center. You can hear the weights and the pulsing of people using the Equipment so if you were out late and want to sleep in you might have a hard time with the random loud noises. (4th floor.)

Beautiful rooms, modern and fun. Located right downtown, with pet-friendly suites available. Great room amenities, which include wine glasses and a corkscrew, items I normally have to call for. Friendly staff.

We have recently relocated from our home city of Seattle to Sarasota FL. We love this place and the staff so much that the W became our designated date night retreat 2x a month..lol! We never got sick of the routine we created and the staff always made us feel special and were accommodating to our special request from placing fresh and fragrant flowers in the room upon arrival or being involved in one of my favorite date night weekend which was a scavenger hunt through the city that my husband thought of. They helped in making many fun memories. There is ALWAYS something fun and exciting happening at the W. Thank you Seattle W! I highly recommend this place if you are ever visiting the Emerald City or if you are like us and looking for a great place to have a date night or weekend! You will not regret it!

W Seattle is a top notch hotel with nice furnishings and decor. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Staff is very nice and helpful. Restaurant garlic fries were yummy. Small complaint. When i called twice to get extra towels no one ever picked up the line and no call back.

I honestly cannot say enough great things about this hotel! It was my second stay and the location is great, the rooms are comfortable, and overall I love the vibe of W s - hip, trendy, and fun.

What made the experience go from good to great was the fantastic customer service. If you call the hotel a real person picks up on the first ring. All staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make the experience one to remember.

The only thing I would change is that I would stay longer!! Will definitely see ya ll when I m back in Seattle! Thank you all again so much and please share with the staff that they are appreciated!!!

Great room, great staff, great location. Smaller hotel than Westin but a bit more personal. Located near good restaurants and public transportation. One block from airport link rail. 10 minutes to Pike Place

Room was nice, service was good. Average rating due to the complexities of getting checked bags and checking the lost and found. Both required at least an hour for something that should've taken 5 minutes

Excellent location, friendly staff, and nice rooms. One of the nicer W's I've stayed at. There is parking on site (valet) or self parking one building over.

Can't beat the location! Minutes walk from everything!

Located a 15 minute walk from Pikes place. The first reaction when walking into my room was "this is swanky." The room was very cool from the comfy seating near the window with views to downtown Seattle. The dimmable lamps in the room. There was even a complimentary nespresso machine instead of the regular cheap coffee machines found in every other hotel. The room was hip, modern and lots of attention paid to design.

SHAME on you W Hotel, not even worth rate a 1 star, I found hair on my sheet a long piece, you don t have too be blind not too see it when I opened the blanket it s right to my eyes, this was not appealing, what is with you guys, is this what I pay to see and find late at night when I want go sleep, you are a shame to accommodate guests by you calling yourself the W Seattle Hotel, this is not allowed to happen, and now during the COVID pandemic you would not want too arrive to your hotel bed that you paid for with some past guests hair in it.....

Hotel is modernly decored and the staff was willing to accommodate all of our needs when we asked, very friendly! The hotel isn't far from the pier or the central downtown area, walkable or about a 5 min Uber/Lyft.

Top business hotel in downtown Seattle. High quality, quiet rooms with good finishings. Comfortable bed, decent sized rooms with good lighting. The cool corner rooms and up and very spacious. Hotel is in the business district which is full during the day but a bit quiet at night and weekends. Very close to other neighborhoods such as Belltown.

I highly HIGHLY recommend this hotel! the staff is absolutely AMAZING!! Long story, I flew in from Alaska to Seattle back in November. During my transit, I left my wallet on the plane. When I got to the hotel I was distraught with having lost my wallet and having no ID/CC to confirm my identity and board.

The people at the front desk were so helpful and sympathetic to my situation, and management made sure I was able to get my room. Conveniently, there was a Wells Fargo near the hotel. There was gentleman (Tyler or Kyle B.) who worked the front desk who also banked with WF. He walked me to the bank to help get me after hour access so I could withdraw cash through card-less withdraw at the ATM- Gotta love technology!!

A day later, my friend accidentally lost my wrist-let (with my cash) on our way to the elevator. MEI FANG CHEN a worker at the W found my wrist-let and turned it in for me. Mei, if you're reading this, you're a God sent ANGEL!!! I can't thank you enough for your act of kindness! You're amazing, and I hope to one day meet you and thank you face to face!

After an evening shopping and dinning I came back to my hotel to a kind handwritten note and my wrist-let with cash on my bed. I wish I remembered who wrote the note- I would love to shout her out as well.

On my last day at the W, I received a call from the airlines lost-and-found, that they found my wallet, hours before my next flight. It just got better and better!! Glory to God!!

My over all experience with the W, and the staff was amazing!! W hotel, you have great people working for you!! I wish i could give you a BILLION stars!! everyone from the bell boys, front desk, stylist, and beyond were wonderful. Thank you Mei, thank you Tyler/or Kyle, thank you to the young lady who left me that sweet handwritten note, thank you management, THANK YOU ALL!!! You all went above and beyond, and your all amazing!!

With Love,
Talia

You have a great view in the modern room of the high skyscraper. There are complimentary bottled water in the room. Are these empty you get new ones. There is also a very well stocked mini bar (of course with charge).
Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi in the room above is also subject to a charge, only down in the lobby it is free.

Great experience. Rachel at the front desk is amazing and upgraded my partner and my room for a better view for our anniversary. Great room. Amazingly comfortable bed. The lounge could use an improvement to their audio quality - it s rough - but that s the least of my concern as a guest at a hotel. Great stay.
