Beautiful views, historic laser prints on the doors! Big rooms!

A lovely warm shopping centre with all the shops, restaurants and bars you could want and wish for

A reasonable venue for conferences, meetings and other events, with flexible rooms to provide facilities for all sizes, large and small. WiFi was provided for our one day session, but we needed to have it for our event to work. I am not sure if it always provided, or if you may have to pay for access. I have not been for quite a while now, and I seem to recall that it was not comped the last time I was here. Lots of good coffee and eats in the adjacent Mall and hotel (if you can afford to pay the price without needing a second mortgage).

The location is scenic and the facilities are good except for the toilets; the toilet paper dispensers are placed so low to the ground that they're hard to access. Move them higher, please!

Attended a conference here, facilites are nice, location is absolutely ideal.

Food served for our conference was delicious, space kept clean, and staff professional and courteous.

I was there for a bodybuilding show. It was a great venue for that. Lots of space. And it has a star bucks. :)

Here is one of the best location for all kind of fairs, shows, conferences, and seminars. The location is perfect, it s located in Ottawa downtown close to Rideau Centre a large shopping centre. Easily you can find a parking within a huge indoor parking garage but if someone want to take a bus here is one the most convenient locations in downtown.

Most likely the nicest architecture in Ottawa. At a key location, and easy to explore. Great spot for photography, indoor and outdoor. Conferences are always a huge hit at the Shaw centre due to it being extremely easily accessible at the core of downtown.

Really great convention centre. Tons of room options, great staff keep the facilities nice and clean even during insanely busy trade shows.

I've been for quite a few different trade shows. Tech, education to sexapalooza and the facilities are always impeccable.

Great venue for large groups. It has a fantastic view of the canal.

Great location in downtown Ottawa. Conference rooms and food were great.

I've been to a few graduation ceremonies here. It's a nice big space with glass sides for views from the third level.

This is a fantastic facility located right next to the Rideau Centre and in the heart of downtown Ottawa. The facility is clean, huge and fantastic. With lots of space, clean washrooms and friendly staff events here are easy and wonderful. We did find the snack food expensive but you can always go into the mall and hit the food court and find better prices. There is plenty of Parking in the garage below (be mindful of the vehicle height restrictions) and it is pretty inexpensive for parking underground in downtown Ottawa. Overall a good experience!

I ve been there many times, there have no place to buy food and drinks.

We held our wedding at Shaw Centre in the 4th floor ballroom. The venue was absolutely stunning. The food was phenomenal and even during our taste testing the chef was very personable and accommodating to our ideas. Guests afterwards still talk about how good the food was! Service was great on the night of. The only thing I was disappointed with was communication leading up to the day. The original event coordinator we worked with wasn't very responsive to my emails requiring me to send 2 or 3 before she would get back to me.. I was constantly initiating things like planning the walk through, planning the taste testing etc. A couple of months before the wedding we did get a new coordinator as the original one left for a new position and Barbara was much easier to work with. Barbara took initiative and was excellent with communicating with me and responding to emails and definitely eased my initial concerns as we got closer to the day.

Amazing place with friendly people and breathtaking wiev at downtown Ottawa

I went there as part of the Tamarack Marathon. The Center was well organized for the occasion.

Big beautiful convention center conveniently located near a mall and several hotels.

It's not really that easy to explore and check out for events

There for a conference, incredibly well organized and supported. Surprised however there was no WiFi.

The Ottawa Convention Center is very beautiful, very modern. It is also very large and offers meeting rooms for different events. I attended a conference and an exhibition on travel. It is also conveniently located near the Byward Market, adjacent to a shopping center, the Rideau Center and close to major hotels.

Well designed conference area with thoughtful accessibility touches. From the second floor the views of Ottawa are sweeping, where you are able to see the site of city, provincial and federal government buildings.

We went to the shaw center for the Ottawa auto show. The center honsted a wonder show. Can't wait to come back to more events here.

It's absolutely stunning in here. You get a great view of the city downtown and enjoy a pretty view of the canal

Love this venue. Absolutely beautiful, easy access, and good parking

I was in Ottawa last week for meetings at the Convention Center during the horrific events that unfolded at the War Memorial and Parliament Buildings.

Given that we were 'locked down' and confined to the Convention Center for the majority of the day, the staff ensured we were provided with food and beverages and regular updates.

I must commend the staff of the Convention Center for handling all the meeting groups in a friendly and organized manner, staying calm during the chaos.

Great spacious architecture. Big windows offer a beautiful panoramic view of the city, Rideau canal, and can even see parliament. You can really feel like you are in a special venue when you explore this new conference centre! Excellent food catering too!

Huge facility in the heart of Canada's capital, 5 minutes walk from Parliament Hill - as modern as it gets, nuff said!

Good food, good prices and nice spot in the market. Highly recommended.

Great place for convention, in the heart of Ottawa.

The interior rooms are devoid of windows. It's a bit gloomy I think, and it's a shame considering it's new.

Great place for events. It's really huge. I went to noodle fest here and it was awesome.

We are lucky to have such a beautifull conv centre in Ottawa. Make sure to try the muskoka chairs on the 3rd floor.
