THE place to go for information about Roermond.
_Outlet shoppers_ should briefly cross (under) the street and find out what Roermond (and the province of Limburg) _real_ has to offer.
The VVV ladies are very nice and well prepared for everything from a short city walk to the "Limburg Vacantie".
... if it weren't just "closed" so often ;-) <eg>

Dat gezegd lifting, thanks voor je hulp.

Nice little old town near the designer outlet. If you park in Roermond, the old town is within walking distance. Lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from. In summer - or when the weather is good, it is worth taking a walk through the old town.

Tourist Information Office. Find out about the city here. Roermond you can definitely go shopping because here you will find the largest designer outlet in the Benelux countries along with shops of famous global brands. Roermond also offers not only a unique shopping experience, but the city also has a rich culture as an episcopal city, beautiful nature reserves and restaurants. When arriving in Roermond, head to the Tourist Information Office and you will learn all about the city there. What else can you see in Roermond ?,
Sint-Christoffelkathedraal - In the Cathedral of St. Christopher. The construction of this church began in 1410. It is a three-nave hall church built in the Lower Rhine Gothic style, as well as the Ursula Chapel, a former monastery chapel, from 1906, you can also see the Church of the Friars Minor (1400) with an extension from the 15th and 16th centuries, and Munsterkerk, the Basilica of the Cross, built in XIII century and restored by the famous architect Pierre Cuypers in 1864-1891. The church is built in a Romanesque architectural style and there are many local monasteries and other monuments. If you want to know more, ask the Team at the Tourist Information Office. I recommend!

The City (city center) is becoming increasingly boring. All well-known stores on Hamstraat or Munsterplein have moved to Retail Park. For people who can only travel by public transport from the nearest bus stop, the shops are still too far to walk there and back with heavy full bags is difficult to walk.
From Roermond Bus Station you can use div. Buses arrive at the 't Outletpark stop. But for the Retail Park and beyond

If you have booked an NS trip including walking route for 2 people, you can still expect to receive 2 (paper) walking routes. Not so! I find that narrow-minded. Furthermore, extensive explanations were given about the way to the Outlet (one will certainly receive commission), but the walking route was pushed into your hand and ... Find out. Not very hospitable.

Kindly helped. Photo puzzle route walked with the children. Nice to explore Roermond in this way. Too bad a photo was not in the right place. We only came across the building later ... Daughters pleasantly surprised that they were allowed to choose a magnet when we had the answers checked.
