Vue Optical Boutique Review

I have actually never written a Google review before, but my experience here was so great it compelled me to take the time out of my day.

I set up an eye exam as a first-time patient and - from calling to schedule an appt, to checking out afterwards - I had an absolutely positive experience.
Every member working there (doctor included) were all just wonderful. Incredible customer experience - efficient, knowledgable, and Very friendly.

Also, support local business!!

*COVID-19 update: with the current situation, I feel I should also note that they were Very sanitary and closely following all precautions - when I walked in I was hit with an awesome smell, which I was informed was one of the products they're sanitizing with lol. I felt they did an excellent job following CDC guidelines, and would imagine anyone would feel safe in their facility.

Hello, I am a veteran and the VA sent me here. The staff and Dr. Nolan are wonderful. I had a lot of question about the process of me being sent here. They were very helpful and helped answer questions I had. The exam was great and Dr. Nolan is very nice. I highly recommend Dr. Nolan.

Love Vue Optical, great selection and always helpful. They were able to help me out with some repairs of glasses my dogs helped me break! They always treat you like a great client even when you just have some adjustments or repairs. Local shops rule

I have not purchased a pair of glasses or received treatment from Vue; but PLEASE READ ON. I am not a patient or a client but I can assure you I don't need glasses to see that Vue cares about its community and the education of children.

Allow me to explain. I have a three year old son that has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He recently showed an interest in learning about the parts of the body and I got to work "filling his glass." He showed a particular interest in the eye--he learned the parts (truly, most of them) and where they were located in a couple of afternoons.

I wanted him to feel with his hands and see up close what he had been learning. The museums didn't have a model, the colleges wouldn't admit us and then I thought to call an optometrist close by: Vue. Vue not only allowed a three year old into their store, they allowed his curious hands to touch and manipulate their model of the eye. They patiently listened as my son told them the parts of the eye and then proceeded to answer ALL of his questions! Wait, it gets better...

Sagan was invited in the back where he was able to "be the doctor" and peer into the eye of one of the staff members. Let me remind you... I am not a client and completely unknown to anyone in the building. Sagan left (reluctantly) with a token of his visit...a lens given to him by one of the staff. I was astounded by their generosity.

Many companies "lose focus" of anything beyond a sale and it was so refreshing to see a company with such a clear VUE of community. I am truly grateful to VUE for giving a curious boy an "insight." Vue is more than what meets the eye and is most deserving of your patronage.

Dr. Nolan and her staff are extremely helpful and great at what they do. I wouldn t trust my family s eye care needs to anyone else. It s always a pleasure seeing them.

Wow, I was blown away by the awesome customer service from Dr. Nolan and her staff. In speaking with her I learned that we knew a lot of the same people and we even grew up in the same area of Jacksonville. I really liked my former Eye Care Doctor, but he was so far away from my house in Avondale, Dr. Nolan knew him too, so I felt comfortable with her. I want to tell you that this woman has wonderful mannerisms, as my eyes are very important to me and she made me feel confident in my choices of Better 1 or Better 2, her staff was fantastic and helped me with my insurance. If you live in this part of Jacksonville, Dr. Nolan is a wonderful Eye Care doctor and you will not be disappointed. I would highly recommend her!

Dr. Nolan and her team are always so caring and helpful. I ve been a patient for 8 years and wouldn t dream of going elsewhere. Plus, the frames are high-quality and last forever. 11/10.

I highly recommend Dr. Nolan. Her facility is very warm and inviting. The technology is top notch. She took the time to explain every test. She is very friendly. I was seen at my appointment time and didn't feel rushed during my appointment.

Dr Nolan is knowledgeable, patient, and in the most friendly way, tells you exactly what's going on with your vision. The office is clean, the staff friendly and they never try to oversell you. I'm thankful to have them in the neighborhood

Dr. Nolan and her Staff are always professional, friendly, accommodating and best of all I always know that my eyes got a great exam.. Dr. Nolan fitted my contacts perfectly and I don t have an easy prescription. Would highly recommend!!!!

What an amazing experience. The exam was done with some pretty amazing equipment. Everyone was wonderful and the process for me as a new customer took just a minute or so to setup.

The frames are as amazing as the service. If you can t find a fit here I don t know where you would.

Dr. Dana Nolan and her excellent staff give new meaning to "Very professional and individual customer service". They always make time for emergency visits and always accommodate when I run out of Len's and need them in a hurry!!!

Wonderful experience-- Dr. Nolen took her time and was thorough with my exam. Her staff was both friendly and professional.

Typically i'm not one to go out of my way to give a rating but this shop was absolutely miserable. If you're looking for a shop made for rich snobs this is the place for you. I went in looking for frames but all glasses were ranging from $400-$900... so I ordered some contact lenses. When I got a call to pick them up I end up waiting 20 minutes in store only to be told that they lost my prescription. I come back a week later to pick up my contacts and i'm given the WRONG PRESCRIPTION. I go back the very next day to pick up the correct prescription (for the third time) and because I'm moving cross country and had already packed up the second box of contacts, they told me I had to pay for the box despite all the annoying errors they made previously. Ever heard of labeling ? ! fortunately for me I never have to go back. Ruthless and when I was in there upset and trying to explain my situation, the hostess began ignoring me and paid attention to another customer that had walked in. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. I'd rather give my money to a hole in the wall that that pretentious shop any day.

They take the time to help you and will work with you. Dr. Nolan is thorough and explains what's going on so that you are never out of the loop. The staff are kind and patient. They took the time to help me pick out glasses. Definitely recommend!

I chose Vue Optical due to the good reviews and they did not disappoint. The atmosphere is very pleasant, everyone was cheerful and helpful, and Dr. Nolan was great. The exam was comfortable and the whole experience was pleasant. I will definitely use them for future services.

Vue Optical Boutique was fabulous. I told them during my appointment that it felt like an eye spa! They provided quick and timely customer service. They genuinely cared about my success with trying contacts out rather than glasses. Dr Nolan put in my first pair for me so that I would have a better idea of how it felt and how to do it. Then they provided me training on my own. The entire staff was great. I will definitely return for vision care and I would highly recommend this boutique!
