There is a real problem of logistics at the reception for the visitors. The wait is much too long, after a long walk to be at the right entrance. Not enough cash for the ticket. The restaurant "Franck" is very nice. the adorable welcome. The food is delicious. The collections are very well exposed but the world is too important.
The architecture is superb. The terrace and its views are to see.

Magnificent Schiele exhibition, with a majority of paintings from private collections. A choice of paintings that does not favor erotic voyeurism. Excellent setting that shows very well the evolution of his style by connecting perfectly to the harsher vagaries of his private life. What a pity that this evolution has broken abruptly with its tragic disappearance. What would have happened? Congratulations for this major exhibition to see absolutely

The structure of this building is extraordinary as well as the terraces which give several exceptional views.
The reception comes from the exhibition halls which are very nondescript and the waiting at the entrance despite tickets with entry times.
For 16 choose the exhibition you want to see!

Too much affluence. A real scandal to sell as many tickets and let people wait almost 40 minutes in the rain despite the booking of their ticket at a given time. Staff at the limit unpleasant and stressed. The art yes .... but at what price and for the pockets of whom ???

Magnificent exhibition place near the Bois de Boulogne.

Super recommended, very interactive, easy to see and appreciate, very very nice staff, Audio guide included with your ticket and entry is not expensive. And the building is beautiful.

Stunning building and great exhibitions. We never used shuttle to get to or from there, Uber to nearest metro is around 5 eur.

On the other hand, it does not seem possible to take the 1 shuttle without simultaneously buying the entrance ticket to the museum ( 14). A driver wanted to sell me today a shuttle package (one way) + museum entrance for 20 ... Bizarre

A beautiful place! The exhibitions are very heterogeneous, whether we like them or not, the case remains magical! Great views of Paris are to discover at the top of the Foundation. Lastly, if you come with children, the garden side acclimation is open and allows you to end the day in the park without paying any entrance fees (the admission ticket to the Foundation acting as ticket for the park)

Very creative building designed by Frank Gehry, interesting exhibitions (at the moment an exhibition about French designer Charlotte Perriand) and friendly staff

Nice place but far too many people for the exhibition...

The museum is one of the under-appreciated gems of Paris. Its art collection is phenomenal and well-curated, but it s the building itself that is the star. One of Gehry s more approachable and accessible designs, the building never fails to surprise, with new delights around every corner. Make sure to check out the interior stairwell, the only place in the museum where the structure of the building is on display.

No idea what's inside but the building is certainly worth five stars!

A museum for modern art. Located next to the acclimatization garden.

Exceptional place and magnificent exhibition to discover these two artists (Basquiat and Schiele).

Ultra modern building of the architect of the dancing house. Very nice surroundings, pleasant park with attractions for children.

Beautiful beetle on the outside, surprising waterfall with its bouncy waves.
Limited view by terraced structures.
Feeling of empty and cold shell inside.
Luxurious setting for much less surprising works. (The guards who are the only ones actually living with the works must be bored stiff)
If you like architecture art but also discoveries, surprises, humor, go instead to the palace of Tokyo

The place is beautiful.
On the other hand, the conditions in which one can see the expos (Basquiat for example) are inadmissible.
Despite the internet, 20 minutes of tail to enter, then the search bags now regulatory, then 20 minutes waiting again for the locker room.
And crowded exhibition halls, 20 to 30 people in front of each painting ... How to enjoy an exhibition in these conditions?
A simple solution: reduce by at least 30% the maximum number of visitors allowed per day. Mr. Bernard Arnault will earn a little less money (does he still need it elsewhere?), But we will see the exhibitions in good conditions!

Unmissable place if visiting for a few days,
The foundation is located in an exceptional setting, notably at the start of the Garden of Acclamation.
Also, the entrance to the foundation allows access to the gardens.

Superb building. Take the shuttle is more convenient. Booking the ticket is going much faster. Micro guided tours are very useful. The restaurant is a bit pricey but very good. Very beautiful spaces.

Beautiful museum, beautiful art but a bit crowded if you had not ordered tickets in advance. More than an hour in the queue and then unfortunately: Only really sit for 3-course lunch, nowhere just coffee. Terraces were closed because of bad weather. No coffee ... that was bad luck. But again beautiful art, not so kind for the customer further (OVERAL LANGE Rijen, in cloakroom / cloakroom, toilets) success.

took the shuttle from Charles de Gaulle Place. Very convenient since it facilitated access to the Foundation. Enjoyed the visit immensely.

Great, very interesting exhibition.
An architectural masterpiece.

Even with cut-lines (exhibition Basquiat / Schiele) at 11 am, you will wait 1/2 h in the cold, you will then go into a "booth" for security and especially you will queue and scroll to see the works (especially those of Egon Schiele, smaller than those of Basquiat) and even ... to return to some rooms ...
And you will have more mobile phones that stand dozens before the works!
The management of bookings and entries is to be reviewed .... unless the tax exemption of sponsorship is no longer sufficient to make this "space" profitable !!
Too bad, because these 2 artists were better than this "bazaar" !!

Literally an architectural gem set in an exceptional location. A brilliant modern art programmation and a very good restaurant. A bit off the ordinary touristy tracks but definitely worth the efforts for its venue, its exhibits and its views.

Horror! As much the exposure of Basquiat is sublime as the conditions of visits are execrable! Three times more people than rooms can accept, waiting lines between rooms, etc .....

This is really beautiful. I went to watch a basquia show. She is pretty. Its good.

Been there for the Coutauld collection and saw the entire LV collection and it was awesome. The art is great and the building is a masterpiece.

Building and beautiful surroundings. It is important to go for the architecture of the building in my opinion.
For expo then it can be variable, the one I saw, it was fine, but it's a bit empty compared to the price of the entry.

Very nice to spend an afternoon. Choose a sunny day, the terrace is worth it

Very clean and well maintained. The exhibits are of quality and the view impregnable. The staff is happy and helpful. The proximity of the acclimatization garden makes a complete and pleasant visit.

Last time I visited this museum was one year after it opened. This second visit is also very pleasant, especially I found they put much effort in enhancing the customer service and whole experience. More seats are provided. They even now have coffee and ice cream stalls in their roof. We tried their set lunch in the lobby restaurant, it was beautifully presented and tasted very good.

The exhibitions presented are professionally curated. The space of the galleries is just perfect for contemporary arts installations. The visitors there are generally very quiet and discreet, respect the artworks and other visitors by refraining themselves from making too much disturbances from taking photos and chatting loudly.

Nice museum. Well worth the 20 min from train station.

Original architectural style, beautiful collections of contemporary art. Not to miss.

If u are going here, do not forget to buy tickets in advance. I spent almost two hours in line trying to get in. Architecture is beautiful and makes the trip worth your while. However, too many stairs and small corridors in between exhibits.

The checkpoint before entering the building is undersized and impractical. A more functional cloakroom and more toilets would also be a plus.
The conditions of visit are however very pleasant and incomparable with the other Parisian museums.

Beautiful exhibition on MoMa and very interesting architecture. The Foundation is inside the Jardin d'acclimatation, very well cared for and in full autumn foliage. Highly recommended.

This building designed by Architect Frank Gehry is worth a visit outside but also inside.Situated in the Bois de Boulogne region of Paris it is a short walk from Les Sablons metro staion. Admission is only 14 euros or less if under 26 years of age.This building is impressive to look at but only by going inside can you appreciate how it was constructed. It comprises 3600 glass panels and whiteness is provided by 19000 Ductal panels. The support and anchorage structure for the sails is made from steel and glue-laminated timber. The construction and design required 30 patents and ATEX innovative technical certifications. There are some art dislays and lecture theatre inside

The architecture is spectacular, the place is not yet well inhabited by the spirit that it wishes to put there

Take time to explore the entire building up to the terraces and the permanent collection, not just the black temporary world show ...

For the Expo Charlotte Perriand, great achievement and collection. However the building remains a copy and paste of the Guggenheim Bilbao damage.

Impressive architecture and exceptional exhibition space. Paris lacked a place like this to showcase large-scale works in a setting that is itself a work of art. In addition, the exhibitions presented so far are often of high quality. So do not hesitate to get away from the center of Paris.

It's an amazing attraction. The MoMA architecture is breathtaking. You need to be there.

Wow! Breathtaking architecture. Great exhibition but you have to take patience in the queues .....

Highly recommended. Picasso's blue and red period exhibition was well organised. In general it is better to book online to avoid queues and try not to go by car!

Beautiful exposition (Basquiat) but worst organisation ever! Too much people, not enough toilets, service not so friendly.. not even possible to have a drink; or you have you wait an hour to enter their fancy restaurant.. Really unfortunately for the exhibition itself..

If you in love with Art exhibition then this is the place. On the other hand the Building from Architecture point of view is very important to watch and notice the little important little details. Also you can end your visit with a visit to the park next door.

If you entered with the same day ticket, it was lined up for an hour. Although it was lined up even in advance reservation, I think that I will put it earlier than the same day ticket.

Great atmosphere, cheap tickets from 14euro for adults and only 5 euros for children under 18j. Three du films, of course for art fans.

The architecture is very nice, large spaces with slender curves.
You have access to outdoor terraces with views of the Defense and the Garden of Acclimation. A nice surprise!

A good place to visit. But staff members are not very nice indoor, and lacks some basic warning indications, only alarms. Sometimes you don't know what did you do and you just triggered the alarm, very embarrassing. The elevators are far from enough to meet the amount of visitors. Indoor design doesn't fit for the great design of that building, that's very disappointing.

Beautiful collection in an ideal setting. An excellent moment. The restaurant is also very nice and the dishes are delicious. But a pity to finish on a mean note by asking 3 euros to replace the coffee of the formula with a tea (but yes, it's hard to believe it is not it?) It looks like a gag and unfortunately we say that we should remain faithful to national museums! !!!
