Steve Wilder personally told me not to return when I said I didnt feel safe at Voodoo.

This place is great and has everything! They do classes, shows every night of the week, and they don't skimp on the drinks.

Omg this was such a great time! We saw the stand up comedy and improv comedy on friday night. Everyone was super cool and the comedians were pretty funny. The improv comedy was so impressive! Bonnie was the best (i love her voices)! Hours of laughter and awe for $16! I'll definitely be back!

Went for a burlesque show and had a fabulous time! The venue is quirky and adorable and everyone had a good time. Thanks Voodoo!

The Voodoo is a place of improv comedy, variety shows and classes. Check out the calendar online to see all of the great shows! One ticket gets you in all night, so come early! The bar is cheap and the shows are fun. Been coming here for over a year and love it.

Hit or miss comedy but always fun. Reasonably priced drinks. Very small venue.

One of our favorite places for a cheap night out. You pay $5-10 for a whole night of comedy. PLUS the drinks are cheap (and there's no minimum). We LOVE Hit & Run Musical and Makeshift Shakespeare.

Comedy was not to my liking, but everyone else seemed to have a good time. Maybe next time.

Prices doubled since last year. The comedy shows are hilarious.

Fun time here. Cocktails are good. Saw the Jester's Court. Started kind of rough, but smoothed out quickly and they were a riot. Would go again

Hands down best place to see improv comedy in Denver.

I couldn t believe that I walked in the place with my man and the guy at the counter only asked to see his ID. I said you don t want to see mine too and he said you re obviously over 21 but I wasn t sure about him. Super humiliating in front of my guy.

Acts were really fun And different from eachother, admission was super cheap for the 3 shows that occurred back to back, drinks were a bit pricy but that's a fine tradeoff for the value admission. A great memorable night in the city.

Really slick space with great comedy shows (improv and stand up) and a full bar. Other bars and restaurants are in walking distance.

This place is so amazing. the people and entertainers have the gift of making people laugh. I truly enjoyed it and definitely will be back when I'm in Colorado

I took comedy classes at Voodoo! It helped build confidence, was a welcome challenge, and the most fun I've ever had with a group, period. Thank you Steve! Looking forward to the next round of classes.

Caught the tail end of a good show. I prolly went on a weird night, but still felt like it was a primetime experience.

Something to do. Not a waste of time, but with it being improv, you get a mixed bag. If the show were longer, I would consider coming back.

It's ok, not the best but worth checking out. I had fun.

First time coming to a comedy club and it was really cool. The beers were reasonably priced, friendly staff, and the comedians that performed were hilarious. Definitely going to come back when I'm in Denver

Really great value! The whole lineup was solid and there wasn't a drink minimum.

Tuesday night drop for improve of all levels was enough to get me hooked. It was friendly, fun, and inspirational. With the new year right around the corner I can't think of anything more fun than the gift of the reasonably priced classes for my partner and myself to get us out of our routine and exploring our creative flow together. Voodoo is also going to be a great place to hang out and have fun with great comedy events in 2019. I am so glad I went to the drop in class to find out what it was all about.

Fun place to go and check out some local comedy. Some of the shows were definitely better than others though.

I usually give places a chance. Due to the quality of it being central to the attraction of comedy, I honestly can't give the show on this date anything better than a 2/5. What is sad is that atmosphere, bar quality, and service was otherwise great. It was simply the comedians and how they dragged the show on over what could be better made a video on YouTube.

This was one of the best dates I have ever been on. Superb improv with awesome entertainment all night. I laughed so hard my face hurt. I loved the drinks as well, you could tell the bar tender knew what he was doing. This was just what I needed after a long week. Loved every moment can't wait to go back! Stayed for two acts and very glad that we did because all of the performers had such amazing talent.

Great place! Everyone there is amazing and wonderful. I m definitely going back again.

Went to my first live comedy show here and it was amazing! Small, intimate setting and good drinks.

So, what's the name of the Jester man? The dude in the maroon jacket, the " I love old people guy " girl with the rad flower pants, tall guy with the grey shirt, and girl with the Daria glasses? You all were amazing, lol, i had a good night..my lady had a good night! Solid bartender...either you laugh or you don't man, but everyone in the room I had the opportunity to be there with defenitely raised a glass more than once!

One of the best places to see improv comedy in Denver - absolutely cannot beat the prices, location and awesome staff. As close as you can get to some of the theaters in Chicago and NY.

Hilarious time!! 24 comedy acts were up in a row the nighti went! Many train wrecks lol and several hilarious people!!! Grambo was hilarious. The cat who went last was funny as hell. I enjoyed myself. Is will go back and maybe sign up and get booed off stage next time. 5stars!

Steve from Rise Comedy is AMAZING. Highly recommend his corporate workshops. He created a workshop for our virtual HR Conference and he tailored his material to our theme and objectives, had a great virtual set-up with flawless execution and was a pleasure to work with throughout the process.

Small intimate comedy club that holds maybe 50-70 people. Bar is outside the theater which means you have to leave the theater to get a refill. I went on a Sunday when they're normally not open so there wasn't a 2 drink minimum. I don't know about regular nights. Great way to spend an hour and cheap!!

yeah this place is pretty cool especially cuz my friend performs here every now and then she's mostly on Thursday nights her name is Liz she does improv I think that's what they call it and I really like it they've got some nice inexpensive prices on drinks and the place is kind of stylish a good good time to hang the seats inside or comfy and they cushion your butt and just the right way I think everyone should stop by voodoo comedy playhouse cuz it's the place to be if you want to get a good laugh any day

This was lots of fun! Wow the shows are great, love improv comedy!

Great spot and the new owners practice old school customer service. We had a group of four with one person on a bum knee. The show was oversold, and I was ready for a "split up and find one-person seats or just stand" to my surprise we were treated with free drinks, tickets to the next show and a sincere apology from the bar manager Jason. Great guy, great venue. Everyone should support this type of business.

This place is so fun! Always have a blast here! Just go get a drink and laugh because its ridiculously funny!

Great comedy. Probably some of the best improv in Denver. It's also my preference because they don't force you to buy food or beverages.

If you're into Improv you'll enjoy it here. Not my cup of tea but I ended up having a blast after giving it a chance. Doctor bitslinger was my favorite group by far

Jester's Court was the absolute best! Greatest show I had ever seen. Never laughed so much in my entire life.

Although each comedy routine can be expected to vary in appropriateness, our experience at the Agency's performance at Voodoo was so vulgar that it was not only not funny--it was downright uncomfortable and embarrassing to watch. The sketches were distasteful, made cruel jokes about self-harm and other sensitive subjects, and the material was graphic and humorless. I was really excited to check the place out, but as long as routines like the one we saw are hosted here, we will not be coming back.

Laughs laughs and more laughs... The service could be better but considering the fact that the bar is somewhat expensive I'd rather go make sure and see my drinks prepared for the amount of money it cost.

Some of the improv groups were not funny at all. Come high or buzzed and it will be better.

I always have a great time here! Wonderful little place with great people and awesome shows.

Unfortunately there prices have went up and they no longer offer karaoke despite what there website says. I do enjoy the comedy there but its know pay per every performance instead of the whole night and most cant afford that it's not what they use to do and I'm disappointed to give a 2 star review. Hope there able to revamp and maybe take the review to heart .
