He was truly concerned about our needs and never tried to push us out of our price range. He found us exactly what we were looking for. Carlo was knowledgeable, thoughtful and responsive. He guided us through the process and made everything truly simple and straightforward. He s also a truly lovely person and a pleasure to deal with. The process was ok.
The salesman was nice however he s a salesman & he s paid to be nice.
The finance guy was just ok after a while I got my own financing, of course he wasn t thrilled given that s a profit center for all dealerships.
The sales manager was disappointing given he gave me the impression that he just wanted to move cars & that is all he cared about.
I certainly understand that aspect. They are in business to make a profit. That said, I believe in a factor called loyalty perhaps I m foolish to believe in that notion. So I got the impression that loyalty isn t an important part of their sales process. Perhaps it s a trivial factor in today s business model.
So, to sum it up. The Volvo dealer is just like any other auto dealerships.
They just are after the sale!!!!! So manage your expectations and make your decision on the manufacturer not any dealership because they are not your friend just salesman looking out for themselves.

After Palisades Volvo closed and with 3 not so nice experiences when dealing with Stamford Volvo I decided to try Danbury Volvo in August to buy a new car. Our Volvo XC90 was 10 years old, and it was time, Tommy was our salesman and he was excellent, he was professional, friendly and informative.
We went for a test drive of several models and decided to get an XC60! I am very happy with the purchase and the dealership is stocked with friendly faces and knowledgeable staff! I would recommend any and everyone to go to Danbury Volvo!!

I made an appointment to view and test drive a pre-owned Jaguar XKR and to trade in my 2015 Volvo S80 at Volvo Cars of Danbury last week. That I found on Bolvo of White Plains.

I called one hour before my arrival to verify that it was still available. I was told that it would be ready for me when I arrive.

When I got there, they had no idea who I was, the car was buried under ice, and the manager, Neel Casimir said that he had already promised the car to a buyer from Virginia earlier that morning.

Horrible communication. Dissatisfied. Need a car to drive back to Los Angeles by Wednesday!

I am very pleased with my shopping experience at Danbury Volvo. I had been in the market for a few months before I bought. I first visited my local dealership but did not have a strong connection with the salesperson there. Rocco in Danbury was wonderfully patient, knowledgeable and not pushy. We spent about 3 hours together on a Monday and I picked up my new xc 40 on Thursday. You know they re good if I was willing to travel from another state to do business!

Just leased my 4th Volvo, a V60 CC. The car is beautiful and is a dream to drive. This is my first leasing experience with Danbury Volvo, but I have been taking my previous XC90 to them for service for years. When it was time to downsize, Carlo and Jerry couldn't have been easier to work with. They were upfront, honest and met my needs without hours of back and forth. When it came time to pick up my new V60, and turn in my XC90 I was in and out of the dealership in an hour. The easiest experience I've ever had. Thanks again!

horrible customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I asked to place a deposit on a car to two sales associates I was told it wasn't needed. I drove 2 and half hours to pull up to them showing the car I was interested in to someone else. then told by the manager the person who buys the car the fastest gets it. this is no way to treat a customer. they also ran my credit several times because I had to finance through them it was said it was soft hit...wrong a hard hit on my credit report. don't waist your time going here. Isnt it funny read below a guy had the same issue I did. the car I was interested in sat on the lot for almost 4 months. car salesmen have horrible reputations of being sneaky and slimy well Rich and Tucker are the portrat for that.

After searching for months to replace my car that I'd had for 10 years, I decided on a Volvo. It was Volvo of Danbury that got me to drive an hour to finally purchase a car. Jacob, who was my salesman, offered me a great deal and was extremely helpful in every way and in particular since I lived out of state. No hard sell, no pressure and a willingness to search out a few options that in my case was necessary. When I picked up my car, everything was in order and I drove off comfortably with the help of Dylan and Eddie, who finish up with the tech and document details.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at the Danbury location. Everything started off fine and they knew I was coming in and everything seemed good. After 2 hrs of waiting. They had done nothing except turn off an on/off light and did an inspection, which they told me I needed some service. They also said they would have to order the parts. When i spoke to one of the women and said "so I've been here for 2 hrs and all you did was update computer??" She said it hasn't been 2 hrs. Well IT WAS 2 hrs. Don't contradict what I said! I would like to speak to a hire up and discuss this i please t experience. I hope someone reads this and gets back to me ASAP.

By far one of the best service experiences that I have ever had. I live in Middletown therefore going to Danbury is completely out of my way but since I had a terrible experience with Gengras Volvo and will NEVER go back there I decided to give Danbury Volvo a shot. The moment I got there they greeted me with a smile and let me know everything they were going to do. When they were finished they called me and when I arrived to pick up my car it was cleaned and ready to go. They once again explained everything that they completed. Melanie was awesome and I can say this with certainty because I am in the business and I know the difference between good service and bad and their service was TREMENDOUS. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for service. It may be out of the way but sometimes great service may not be convenient but it was always be great and that is what Volvo of Danbury is.

The people deliver exceptional service from the moment I walked in the door. Tucker thoroughly explained every feature in my new car and even went the extra mile to set up my bluetooth, apple car play, SOS etc. Rich checked in throughout the process to make sure it was going smoothly. Jerry, the credit manager, made me feel very comfortable and explained all of the terms and options in my financing. The used car manager (I can't recall his name at the moment) was extremely fair and made me feel well taken care of. Overall they took a stressful situation and make it enjoyable. I actually look forward to coming back to Volvo of Danbury.

I came to him with a number I wanted to stay at, knowing that it was very well a possibility that I wouldn't be able to find a car in that range. Not only did he find a car he found a 2020 with a color combo that is stunning. Chris never gave up, he followed up with me and worked hard to find a deal that worked. I also did alot of research. I knew I was getting a good deal and that no stone was left unturned. I contacted other dealerships seeing if anyone would offer me a deal better than this and none even came close. I was looking for a white volvo xc90 about a year ago and found one at the Danbury volvo dealership. I called to make sure it was still available and was assured that it was available and was told that it would be held for me to test drive. I drove down to the dealership on my lunch break, which took me two hours, and was promptly told that the car had been sold over the phone to someone else.

The sales people were unbelievably rude. The sales manager didn't even have the decency to return my phone calls after I called to complain.

I subsequently purchased a S60 at volvo of meriden. If you want a volvo go to the Meriden dealership. The danbury dealership is horrible.

I contacted the dealership to express interest in a used vehicle. The dealership is about an hour from my home. I specifically asked the dealership if the car in question was at the dealership and available to drive. I was told yes. Perhaps it was my mistake not getting this information form an actual sales manager; however, the staff answering the phone should be providing accurate information. I was told that the sales manager Neel would have my folder and my information to save time when I arrived. I drove to test drive the vehicle, and upon arriving, the sales manager had no information and was prepared to put me in an arbitrary XC60 to test drive. I explained that I was here to inquire about a specific used XC60. At this point they started to look for the vehicle, and could not find it after I waited for about 20 minutes. Neel said perhaps it was moved to another location without his knowledge. This was immediately suspicious because with the technology now a days, in my opinion, a dealer should know where every car is in real time. Although I enjoyed my interaction with Neel and found him informative and professional, and he did offer me a good value on my trade-in, he then tried to find me a comparable vehicle - but was really only able to find a new vehicle with the same features for $10k more, or a stripped down version for the same price. He asked how I wanted to proceed and I said, I d like you to find the vehicle I came here to test drive. This seemed like quite a bait and switch situation. Neel indicated he he would call me with an update the next business day, and did not. My partner called a second time and his call was not returned either.

Upon reviewing the car fax, It was evident to me that the vehicle had been sold 2 weeks prior. This vehicle is still listed on their site as available. I can t help but think this was a bait and switch, as the dealer has made no attempt to find a comparable vehicle since or communicate as promised or apologize for the inconvenience. I am a highly motivated buyer and was prepared to purchase the vehicle of interest. There is no explanation why this car is still listed st this dealership. Be weary of any used car here and be sure you actually see if before going to the dealer (photo with a newspaper, FaceTime, etc). Whah a disappointment and highly unprofessional.

I recently purchased a car from Danbury Volvo and felt that it was an awesome experience. My salesperson Carlo was a pleasure to work with. He was personable, knowledgeable, and I didn't feel pressured at all. He took the time to go over the car with me and answer all of my questions so that I felt comfortable on how everything worked before I left the dealership.
Everybody from the finance person to the manager were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend doing business with this dealership!

The maintenance manager was the only one that was okay and kept appologizing for all the others.
Will never buy from them again and suggest you look elsewhere .

I've been happy with the service that Volvo has provided us for the Volvo that we bought at this dealership. However, I also leased an Alfa Romeo from an AR dealership that this owner also owned. Recently, this owner agreed to sell that dealership and stopped supporting his customers, months before the transaction was complete. We literally could not get our cars serviced, and his people at the AR dealership were ridiculously unhelpful and rude. If he could do it there, he could do it here too!!! Take note! On the positive side, the incoming AR dealership owner reached out to me proactively, seems great, and takes his obligations to his customers seriously. The still owner of this Volvo dealership could learn something from him.

I had the worst experience at Danbury Volvo. First, i called a week ahead to let them know what service i need for my truck, I have a XC90 R Design, and it was approaching the 100,000 service, i explicitly told them that because this was the big service i would need a loaner because I'm a FIRST RESPONDER and i cant be with out a car, OK i drop off my truck and i again reiterate why i has brought my truck in and also proceed to tell them the issues my truck has been giving me, my truck has temp issues and the worst part was while driving at 4am.(I'm a first responder and got called in at 4AM) my truck starts smoking in the middle of the highway the computer starts blinking like crazy and then shuts off while driving. I also tell them that i need my breaks and rotters changed because i was hearing noises in the back while braking,
The day goes by and around 1pm the service person calls me telling me that they need their loaner back, if it possible if i could take it back, with out the car being ready. i told them i couldn't take it back because i wouldn't be able to get back home.
Then they call me again around 4 pm telling me my truck is ready but you have an oil leak, (mind you I live in Westchester county which is an hour away from Danbury.) I then proceed to say "why would you give me my car back if it has an oil leak", all they said was "No its safe we need our loaner back". So i said "No your keeping my truck and you need to fix the oil leak and if you want your loaner back ill bring it this afternoon, ill pick up my car when its ready, fast forward 1 week. I have my husband pick up my truck to then find out they didn't do the service i had intentionally requested, and on top of that after just finishing paying them almost 1000.00 dollars they wanted to give me back my truck with bird poop all over it, and i left my truck with half a tank of gas and when my husband picked it up it was completely empty.

First visit to this service center for annual inspection and oil change. They found clogged PCV breather box/oil trap, and replaced (vehicle 10 yrs old). Engine power feels increased and car coasts with less resistance. Mechanic did thorough inspection and noticed details like missing insulation (that was eaten by mice). Fair prices and reasonable wait length in a nice waiting area.

Once we decided on a car, he comprehensively walked us through all the features the vehicle has to offer. Currently disputing a refundable $500 deposit. They said they would refund the deposit and they did text a sales receipt. Weeks later noticed no refund. Started a dispute and called manager to make aware. He said he would look into it and resend the refund receipt. Did not receive. Called again the end of the week and left a voicemail. No response.
Called my cell phone carrier. Found the receipt and now letting Chase deal with the situation.

They also let me make an appt to see a car that had not been inspected. Drove an hour and they said I could only drive it around the lot. Wasn't a good exp for me but looks like there others have had good experiences.
