I have been car shopping for a few weeks now and recently went into volvo to get some information. I worked with Carlo and he was amazing!! He really took the time to go over the different options and listened to what I was looking for. I will be back to purchase my first Volvo within a few days.

I recently purchased my Volvo from Volvo Cars Danbury and I must say, my experience was outstanding. My salesperson, Rocco Turchiano was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating he made my purchase seamless from beginning to end! The staff is very pleasant and the showroom exceptional. I would definitely recommend Volvo Cars Danbury to family and friends!!

Best car buying experience hands down I have ever had. Salesperson immediately greeted me, was extremely professional and answered all of my questions with real answers and no pressure at all. I was introduced to the Sales Manager Ken who was involved throughout the entire process and was extremely knowledgeable and the Service Manager Rob Lollie who was able to get the car ready for me with no notice at all. I would highly recommend Volvo of Danbury to anyone looking for a car and wants a straight forward and honest experience.

First let me start how I really hate typing (although I feel reading reviews are essential) That being said I am truly COMPELLED to write following the awesome experience I had over the past week at Danbury Volvo. In truth this is the 3rd car I have purchased (plus 1 more seviced) from them over the past 6 years ( which for those who know me speaks volumes of the SERVICE DEPT)... In fact Melanie and the entire crew are top notch, integrity driven and customer focused. HOWEVER this review is driven by my lease Friday of a new S90. Tommy Jannetty cold called me to inform me of the pull ahead Lease program (smart kid) He was informative w/o being pushy ALWAYS AVAILABLE and able to handle my onslaught of questions. Every deal always feels a little like a small power struggle with some bumps in the road. THE DIFFERENCE HERE was a true win win. Every item was fully explained and even last minute changes presented NO PROBLEMS in fact the ONLY SURPRISE was an ADDITIONAL DISCOUNT, As the final car that was located was closer (then Maine) hence they (to my surprise at contract signing) LOWERED the price. Talk about INTEGRITY. At transfer the Finance manager Jerry DiDminico was the MOST prepared guy I ever worked with (and I buy/lease a new car every 3 years X 2 cars = 20 plus deals) NO PRESSURE FOR ANY ADD ON'S (a first) Even the sales manager Neel Casimir got into the good feeling act with his warm welcoming friendly approach. He was so helpful he opted to check my my lease return and not JUST remembered to remove my EZ pass took the time to peel off the glue strips. I trust you now sense why I felt compelled to write this ( not to mention why I hate to write as I am way to wordy.) IN SUM CONTINUES TO BE GREAT DEALERSHIP WITH EXTRAORDINARY STAFF. We had our car (2015 s60) serviced here @Danbury Volvo.....the engine seized the next morning BEWARE of this service department and the service manager ... they denied all claims as we found out through our mechanic the engine was over filled with oil which caused the engine to seize. We are in the process of litigating ...this is a very unprofessional department. All they want is your money. They charged us $5500 for a used 2013 engine with 53000 miles. The most sleazy operation is all I can say. Posted on Yelp as well.

Worst buying experience I have ever had...lost receipt for down payment, lost title, requested plates---no plates after 1 month, car was sold to me with Volvo On Call and was told Volvo would email me. Car does not have Volvo On Call capability per customer service.

Joe missed asking me to sign the checks so I asked them to follow up on the aforementioned issues so we could button it all up at once in one visit. ...and nothing. BUT TODAY I WALK INTO MY OFFICE TO HAVE A VM FROM JOE threatening me if I don't sign the checks. Still no word on the plates, Volvo On Call etc.

Our salesman Tom was so patient and helpful. He spent all day practically with us to help us close a deal. He followed up after we initially looked at the car and then followed up with us the next day. He was well-informed and happy to answer all of our questions. We would definitely recommend this dealership and especially Tom.

I purchased S60 CPO from this dealership. Response time was amazing (within a few minutes of sending an inquiry) and this is considering that it was during the limited lockdown period due to Covid. Chris was my salesperson who prepared the car for the test drive the same week and was very helpful and attentive throughout the whole process and after the purchase. Truly amazing experience!

My battery has been working just fine for the time...

My battery has been working just fine for the time I ve owned the car. Just before the service the car starts right up with no issues. As I was about to leave the dealership they informed me about my battery level being low, and the battery being in need of replacement. The moment I leave the dealership it s as if I have a completely different battery. The car barely starts. And later on in the night my battery dies and leaves me in need of a jump. Absolute scum working this dealership. I firmly believe they have either replaced my battery with a different one, or allowed the battery to run to empty while in service.

My experience with sales associate Tom Jannetty was simply one of the most pleasant car buying experiences. He truly got what my needs were, followed up with me continuously for our two weeks, made sure I qualified for every all incentives and allowed for the best possible pricing and proper SUV for our needs. He did not up sell or under sell what I needed for amenities with packages, etc. In addition, the sales manager and finance manager were extremely pleasant and made sure everything was in order with my lease. Will definitely be doing business with Volvo of Danbury again. Two thumbs up!

Great customer service, a beautiful dealership and getting everything signed was a breeze.
My sales person , Carlo Juliana was very courteous and called me the night before I arrived to assure me that the car had been detailed and ready for me.
When I arrived all my paperwork was ready the car was immaculate. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

This was my first service experience at Volvo of Danbury. My S60 was in for a recall involving a software upgrade and for a routine 20K miles service. The service manager, Melanie, and service writer, Mike, were welcoming and friendly. I waited while the work was being done and found the waiting area open and well lit. Snacks and drinks were available, as was a TV. The work was completed in a timely fashion and Mike reviewed the check list that was used in servicing my car. When it was returned, the car had been thoroughly washed and dried and looked new. I plan to return for any future dealer-based work that is required.

I recently purchased my first Volvo (XC90) and I couldn't be more in love. We shopped around quite a bit for other makes/models before landing on Volvo of Danbury. We worked with Carlo throughout the sales process. He was so knowledgeable and helpful without being too pushy (which we experienced at every other dealership we visited prior), so working with him was like a breath of fresh air. I am so happy with my purchase, and have a feeling I will be a Volvo customer for life! Thanks for an overall great car buying experience!

My husband and I where very excited to be looking at the Volvo C70 T5 convertable. We are retiring in July and where looking to buy our car that would take us into our sunset years. We fell in love with this car and took a ride up to Danbury to take a test ride. We where given a name of a dealer to meet with. When we got there,the dealer did not really know anything about the car, but said he would get the information for us. We took the test ride and really liked the car and we where ready to take the next step. We where told to wait, someone would be with us. We never got the information about the questions we asked, nor did someone come to discuss terms with us. We waited quite a while and feeling ignored, decided to leave. Needless to say, we where disappointed and did not expect this kind of treatment from a reputable car company.

Last week, my car was in the throes of an emergency: a local mechanic told me that my radiator and everything linked to it was in danger of falling down and that the car was unsafe to drive. The mechanic was reluctant to fix the problem which was caused by whoever had worked on the car previously had held the radiator in with machine screws! I knew that the nearest Volvo dealer (who had worked on the car) was overbooked and could not possibly see me until weeks later. I called Bill in the Danbury service department. I was afraid to drive the car so AAA towed it to Danbury. The next day, Bill called me and said that the radiator was firmly clamped in where it belongs and that Danbury Volvo would refund the cost of the towing and would not charge me for the service! Amazing! I am so grateful! I have been driving my car for over one week and everything is fine! THANK YOU, BILL AND DANBURY VOLVO!

Around about Feb 2016,I was interested in a 2007 S80 for my son going to college. They had a nice silver one with about 161,000 miles, listed for 7,500.00 it was a lot of miles but I test drove it and it rode really nice. i got back to the dealership and inspected the car It had a window sticker with a price tag of 7,000.00 and a warranty for 3,000 miles or 6months, that really sold me just having the little warranty so I can find out if the car would hold up meant a lot. I get inside fill out all the paper work and they not only charge me $895.00 in fees , But also told me it was a mistake and there was no warranty with the car. But told the manager that it was not my fault that someone put the warranty sticker on the car so they should honor it! He told me they wouldn't and I would have to take the car "AS IS" I walked away from the deal and will never purchase another Volvo from Danbury. P.S. Me and my wife both own Volvos that we purchased from them and that was the service we received. Thank you for treating returning customer with so much respect. William Phifer

I typically would not rate a dealership, but with the recent experience I had, when buying a 2012 certified used Volvo XC70, it needed to be recognized.

-I sent and email inquiry after hours on a weekend, it was responded to by an actual salesperson , almost immediately.
-The price they were asking was already competitive, after my first meeting with them and their review of my trade, they sharpened their pencils still more.
-They advised me that I could pick up the car that evening, even with an outstanding loan on it and a new one to be created.
-Stephanie in sales, and the finance manager were professional and efficient.

Overall, amazing experience, much better than the many other Volvo dealers my family has worked with for the past 20 year!
