Easy to see and to access. It is on a main street, on Broadway in South Everett, Washington State. Very friendly staff and of course the free food, a bug plus and upstairs is the resource center where you can get emergency vouchers for food, shelter and cars. You also get while upstairs, advice, lists of resources such as the working women's wardrobe at the YWCA, free bus tickets, a care package of personal hygiene products such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, underarm deodorant, dental floss, mouthwash and more. Worth checking out! So if you're ever anywhere in Everett, Washington and in need of resources, The Volunteers of America Food Bank is the place to go. Very helpful!

Thank goodness this is here. So many elderly people I know need this to survive. Food or medicine is a not so unusual choice for Seniors. VOA food bank gives canned goods, meat, paper products and locally sourced fresh food to those in need. God Bless them

I have to laugh at one of the guys who posted by the name of Jared. Talks about being homeless and the food that he was GIVEN was terrible. I went here the other day and was pleased with my free food to help my family out. Maybe if he stopped talking about stealing and trading his clothes out at value village and spent less money at Starbucks and Vape places he would be able to afford food he found decent.

This food bank (and others in the Everett area) has made the difference for myself and many other people who are at times struggling to make ends meet! (Especially considering the current state of the EBT program).

As the name suggests, Volunteers are the key to success and I have personally seen many who give tirelessly with a caring heart!

If you can, give! Donations of time are one of the more valuable resources within any volunteer organization.

I appreciate that we are able to choose our own food as I have special dietary needs. I've recently been going to a neighborhood satellite location. They set up and take down 2 Mondays a month at my church First Baptist. I have a hard time keeping track of which Mondays. There are other satellite locations as well. This program is most helpful to me as I don't drive. The food bank at First Baptist is so near I can walk! Yay! Big help! Things are different at the N. Broadway location. Not sure I like it? Tho we didn't have to wait long on the 1st. Not sure if this is customary? Praise the Lord for help!

Very friendly people, quick unloading. Make sure you get the right directions.
Its in back alley, between Broadway and Mobard pointed north. get on Broadway (driving either north or south) and head west on 15th St. It is wide enough for any size truck to make the turn. On 15th take your first right. It's an unnamed alley. Once you cross 13th street, we are the first building on the right.
That should get you there..

The VOA , located in North Everett on Broadway, is a food bank that usually has really nice volunteers and you definitely get what you need. More than any other food bank, that I know of, in the Everett area.I believe you can receive services once a month.
I strongly recommend bringing a cart if you're taking the bus or walking.(I've had to leave items behind because I couldn't carry it all myself, on more than one occasion.)
Prepare to sit, waiting for your number to be called. It's not uncommon to wait an hour or so. So I also recommend getting someone to watch your kids and not bringing them with if possible. - But I promise, if you need help with food, it's definitely worth the hassle.

I give the VOA volunteers much respect. It's a busy place, as it's the distribution center for snohomish. Joan is amazing, she orchestrates it all. So well done, and she leads with the utmost respect to her clients and volunteers. We need more people like her walking this planet. To the volunteers, Thank you isn't enough. Please know you are all greatly appreciated. A salute. To the rest of us, donate when you can what you can, it is all appreciated. Remember VOA Foodbank accepts food for the fur babies too, as well as diaper and baby wipes for the babies. If you have a question about acceptable donation please contact your local Volunteers of America.

We donate fresh produce from local gardens, but the people who take in the donation are not very friendly, which make us feel unwelcome. Maybe this place doesn't need the donation. We will donate our produce somewhere else.
