There is no place to park, pretty much true for all of Harpers Ferry. Finally parked at a pay spot by the train station and walked back up the hill, only to find that the cafe is closed and just the general store is open...and it isn t much of a general store. All I wanted was a morning coffee and nothing else in town even claimed to be open before 8:30. WTH?
I will not be back.

A chuck wagon style cafe! Super casual, 4 burner cooktop, and 1 Cook-ie. Just like walking into your neighbor's home for breakfast, lunch or your neighbor's mom's dinner. Opens early and closes late.

This is a cute little homestyle cafe. I sat at the bar and watched them make everything from scratch, so of course it is going to take a while. I got the chicken salad sandwich and my friend got pancakes; the one chef made both of these from scratch to order. There is only one chef, so if things are busy for them, then I can see how things would take longer. They also serve the guests of the attached Inn, so even if you don't see many guests, there are others besides you. Seating is available inside, on the porch or the back padio. This was just what we needed after the 6 mile hike.

We ordered 4 plates of breakfast for under 20 bucks and it was delicious! Karin and her son have built a beautiful business in Harper Ferry WV. It was a very magical experience to find this unique Mountain View Cafe! I loved every moment of my experience and so did my family! I especially loved seeing their organic kombucha!

I visited Harpers Ferry with my visiting family. This was one of the worst places I have ever eaten at. Turkey Reuben with cold sauerkraut and cheap meat from a store package. Frozen store bought pizza with added pepperoni. The mac and cheese was cut from a casserole dish and thrown in an oven on a paper plate that never got warmed up and it was served in the block that it was cut into from the casserole dish. No effort was put into any of the food served to us and it cost us $58 on top of it. My wife couldn't stomach the mac and cheese and my son couldn't eat the pizza. They went hungry. I would never recommend this place to anyone for any reason.
