Everything about my experience with this dealership has surpassed expectations. Their is clearly an intention of fostering loyalty at this location because the staff are non-predatory, helpful, generous, and thorough.
When I first purchased my 2013 Jetta, Justin Keyes was a pleasure to deal with. He did not make me feel pressured in the slightest; he gave me an excellent showcase of the vehicle's features; and he gladly worked out a good price for the car with me. He freely allowed me a test drive the car all the way to Elmira and back.
I have also had great service at my subsequent visits to Volkswagen Waterloo. Brad Reinhart runs a tight (and generous) ship over in the Service and Parts department. I expected my service appointment today to be around $300 as I was receiving the typical 45,000km maintenance, some parts as a result of a recall, and they also agreed to put my summer tires back on. My bill came to less than half that price because they did not charge me for the recall (expected) or the tire change (unexpected), and there service was just a better price than I thought it would be. In addition, I received free wiper blades as part of their spring promotion and a coupon for a free car wash.
This excellent service is the reason I will keep coming back in the future, even after the warranty has lapsed, and why my next Volkswagen or Audi will definitely be purchased there.
Excellent experience. Great deal on the vehicle. They did extra service work on the vehicle that I wasn't expecting but greatly appriecated. Car was cleaned and ready for pickup when we arrived. Sales staff are pleasant and not pushy. If you are looking for a VW, I would reccomend you give VW Waterloo a call.
We simply dropped in one Saturday just looking for a new vehicle and we bought a 2014 VW Passat. We had great service from Peter. There was a little miss communication with some pricing but VW Waterloo was quick to work with us to make sure we were happy.

Called for an appointment today for my Jetta. Was told they are taking bookings for Dec 6. That's a month away. Called the Kitchener location. I got an appointment for next week. Very happy there's another vw dealership. I will be going there instead.
About a month ago I bought a Golf from Mike Juri and he made the process extremely smooth from beginning to end. Additionally, he still helps me by providing answers for any questions that I have with regards to the vehicle even after it is in my possession. All around it was a great experience and it was a pleasure to deal with Mike.
I highly recommend this dealership! My 2015 Golf was totalled (also leased from VW Waterloo), and they set me up with a 2016 off the lot for the same payments I was making on the 2015. It only took 4 days to get back into a car I love and am familiar with, really helping me feel back to normal after the accident.

I had a great experience buying my 2017 Golf from Mike. He made sure I understood all of the paperwork and then spent quite a bit of time going over all of the features of the car with me. Everything was easy and hassle free.
What an awful experience this dealership was. We walked in looking to test drive a Golf GTI, with the intent to purchase it that day if everything checked out. The salesman was very standoffish and unhelpful, and was very reluctant about letting us go for a test drive despite our spoken intent to purchase one. He relented and told us to "make sure you only go around the block, people don't buy these with a lot of miles on them."
People don't buy cars they can't test, either, so we went to Guelph VW the next day. They were the complete opposite: cheerful, hospitable, and absolutely effusive about wanting us to go home satisfied whether we bought a vehicle or not. An hour later we purchased a 2015 Golf and will not hesitate to keep giving them our business in the future.
Waterloo VW must be allergic to money or something, because they went out of their way to avoid a guaranteed sale.

My wife and I decided on a Touareg for our family vehicle (us and our twin boys just born). Our experience was totally positive with VW Waterloo. I recently purchased a pre-owned 2013 Jetta from VW Waterloo. Very bad experience with service department. Took the car in for AC condenser replacement, they damaged one AC pressure line, took the car to a different shop and they fixed it. They confirmed that AC pressure line was damaged at the time condenser was replaced. They refused to pay for the damaged part. Very unprofessional folks, especially Brad Reinhart, the service manager. Will never take our car at WV Waterloo for repairs. Stay away and save your money.
The car I purchased from this dealership ended up needing a new engine which was thankfully under warranty. However the salesman told me twice while I was buying the car that it had new tires installed. Truthfully the tires were not new but 5 years old. When I brought it to their attention they made everything right and Shawn the used car manager took care of the situation. Thank you Shawn.

Shawn Hagen was a pleasure to deal with. He got me the most I was offered for my vehicle and I felt that I wasn't low balled. He understood what I wanted and what other offers I was considering. He presented several alternatives and let me choose vs trying to shoe horn me into something they wanted. On the day of the pick-up he had the car ready and showed all of the features and explained them thoroughly. Overall it was a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dealership. I was very impressed. I went to the Volkswagen Waterloo location directly after leaving a Toyota dealership, and I must say that the difference was night and day.
I was given a much higher level of respect as a customer, and the sales member, also named Brad, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful even though he said he was new to the dealership.
I found a great deal on a 2012 Jetta, and there was not a single hiccup in the sales process. They are very straight-forward and don't try to push you to buy extra features.

Most painless experience I have had, and the service was truly top-notch!
I booked my car in for a basic oil change and headlight replacement. The appointment took an hour and a half and while there one of the service reps named Dave treated me very poorly right from the start barely acknowledging my presence, I am not sure if this is how he treats all customers but got the feeling it was because I am a woman and figured he didn't need to pay much attention to little old me. The fee for changing my headlight was the same in labor as the part cost which seems ridiculous.
My car has 65,000 km and has been in multiple times to this dealership regarding noises coming from the back and each time I have been told it was nothing only to find out today after the warranty has expired that my entire brakes and rotters are shot which I'm sorry could not have happened that quickly and seems like it is something to do with the car lacking in quality.
My boyfriend called the manager Brad who to be perfectly honest was both rude and unprofessional.
I would steer clear of this dealership at whatever cost you can, they are snakes. Let's hope the Kitchener location has better staff.

Bought a 2019 Tiguan from VW Waterloo and was satisfied with the buying experience. It took some back and forth but we were able to net out on a price that was reasonable. The salesperson who helped us was knowledgeable and accommodating. Would buy from them again.
We dealt with Robert and Shawn at VW Waterloo ad had a great experience. We bought a demo Jetta and got a great deal! (They even saved us a little bit extra by giving me the recent Graduate discount that I had no idea existed- bonus!). I did have a little issue with my vanity light not working, but the guys were quick to get us in and address the problem. Overall we had a good experience, and I really enjoyed that the guys were still happy to answer questions and help us out even after we signed on the dotted line. There was definitely an effort made to make sure we were happy with our new car, and the great service didn't go unnoticed.

I knew exactly which car I wanted from the start and I was in a hurry to get it because my old Jetta was breaking down. The sales team at VW Waterloo was quick to find my car and offer a very competitive price - no sales gimmicks or haggling - which made it easy to choose to buy from them rather than another dealership in SW Ontario. The Golf Wagon is a bit pricey, but I'm definitely happy with my purchase.
