Vive Hotel Waikiki Reviews

We were denied free parking offered to guests who are local residents because we didn't book at the proper rate. We're not sure what that means and a better hotel would have waived the $25 a day fee. The bathroom is very small and the sink doesn't have a basin to speak of. Instead it has a flat, shallow basin that causes water to splash on you. The room was very small.

Great hotel and service. The courtesy room they provide is a plus for those needing more time to leave.

I stayed for 21 days in December and it was a good experience. The rooms are rather small as you can see from the photos. I had a standard room with a view of Kuhio St., maybe the suites are more spacious. The customer service was great. There is no fitness facility, but your in Hawaii so who needs one. If you rent a car you will have to pay $25 a day for valet parking. There really aren't any convenient options to this. I am sure there are better places, but for the price, I had a pleasant experience.

Close to Waikiki Beach
There is a well-known restaurant in the vicinity of Moussoui and brunch on the beach side.
15-20 minutes by car, there are some good places to see the sunrise

The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean.

WiFi has a pretty good speed. Youtube does not break even with 1080p
The breakfast buffet is very simple.
Bread, fruit, coffee, juice end
In the case of me, I resolved the breakfast elsewhere and came here for a dessert buffet breakfast.

Analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of staying for four nights:

advantage
1. Good location, 3 minutes walk to Waikiki Beach, close to the bus stop, half an hour from the airport
2. A simple buffet breakfast is served, and hot coffee, fresh fruit water and ice hot water dispenser are available throughout the hall.
3. Lend beach chairs, umbrellas, straw mats, bath towels and kickboards
4. The bed on the bedside of the room can be reserved for cleaning time or supplementary supplies.

Disadvantages (not all room types)
1. Window type air conditioner runs loudly and needs to wear earplugs to fall asleep (see the online review beforehand, you have your own earplugs)
2. The space for the two single beds is small, but it is enough to spread two large bags.

Mixed feelings about this Hotel.
Great position 5 minutes from beach and shops.
Room was clean and tidy not big but you are only there to sleep.
Had a big issue on check in as they charged our credit card with the cost of our accommodation when we had paid for it months before arriving unfortunately that left our credit card over drawn and the funds took 7days to come back to us. They were very apologetic but that didn t help our financial side of things.They did give us 1 free night car parking .
Breakfast was a bit of a hit and miss
Cold boiled eggs and bacon, sometimes no juice or condiments, rotated with sausages and omelet, maybe sausages!
For budget type of accommodation it s okay, we would try elsewhere next time.

Pretty clean. Simple accomodations with continental breakfast. Easy walk to the strip.
