A prestigious hotel located in the heart Lutyen's Delhi, with a quintessential classic Delhi look. The food served was delectable and at the entrance of the hotel lies a quaint little cafe, followed by two lovely shops.

Good but not great. Large rooms. Comfortable stay. But veg food needs improvement. Vivanta having been classified as the lower brand of Taj, has stripped off a lot of frills without which you feel the stay is only satisfactory. Staff are also not what you expect from the brand since most of them are long rooted from the Ambassador. Very crowded breakfast place and very limited choice for vegetarians.

The place maintains the guest friendly approach of the Taj group of hotels. The small property offers itself as a quaint place to stay at. Next Khan Market, it offers the convenience of economical stay and ease of getting to important places in Delhi. Despite the small dining area, the breakfast had a good variety of dishes. Rooms have shared balconies - hard to find in most hotels in Delhi

Have only visited the restaurants at this property. Good Value for money if hosting party of about 50-100 people.
Decor is average. Large bar area and decent food.
The property is more appropriate for business travellers.

Probably someone's bungalow converted to a hotel. Small hotel but really well made and maintained. Pet friendly hotel. If you plan to stay over the weekend, take your pet along. Staff is friendly. Few choices of restaurants but good food.

My stay was very comfortable but it wasn't a luxurious one considering it is a 5-star property.

I was initially given a room which was really far from the lift even though the occupancy seemed to be low. Then I requested for a room closer to the lift and was given the room right next to the lift. It was great to be close to the lift but my bed was sharing the wall of the lift so I could hear the lift all day and night which wasn't the best experience.

The breakfast buffet was very limited and almost average taste wise. The staff serving us though were very helpful and courteous. Special mention to Apoorva who packed a bag full of food for me when I was leaving to catch a flight and kept a sweet goodbye note in it which left a positive impact on my overall experience. The live counter had great paranthas but the dosa that I was served was cold. Also why does an Indian hotel not serve proper Chai (tea)? I was highly disappointed with the tea served. I don't expect a tea-bag tea as part of the buffet.

The housekeeping staff was excellent but one thing to note is that I was constantly disturbed during the day to have my cleaning done. No attention was put on the DND button they have in the rooms. They must have rung the bell atleast 3-4 times in the day. This happened on 2 continuous days which was pretty annoying. However they were very helpful during the entire stay.

Overall, it was comfortable but not beyond expectations. There is a huge scope for improvement.

It's an old hotel , super central location , huge rooms one of the best , you won't find these kind of rooms in any new hotels , it's a boutique hotel , due to the old age there are few things which is nt as per he new property like fancy big lifts and wide lobby but this won't effect your stay there,
