Poor quality of room including room furniture and bathroom fittings.
Staff at reception were not customer friendly and it took +15 minutes to checkin but they did not even asked for water.
Room service forget to serve curd and did the same after reminder.
Lift is so small that it can fit nothing and very uncomfortable experience.
Hotel staff is untrained and does not understand the meaning of consumer service.
Breakfast spread is just below average.
I misunderstood meaning of Taj hotel for sure.
I also recommed please do not prefer the hotel.

The Ambassador New Delhi is extremely charming. Old colonial style architecture, exquisitely maintained and infused with trademark warm, thoughtful Taj hospitality! This 3 night stay stands out in our travel experiences...

Pleasant enough stay in premises that show some decay, decent service, friendly staff. If you need wild company and shop with the hoi-polloi this is not the place for you!

A beautiful heritage property in the heart of the capital. Adjacent to ever so popular KHAN MKT this hotel has been their since long.
I first visited this property in 1997 when it used to Ambassador and was famous for the DasPrakash outlet which was extremely popular for it's South Indian food.
It hasn't changed much and the hotel needs a facelift for sure, keeping the latest trend in mind. The Yellow Brick Road is another iconic restaurant of the hotel which is a nice, vibrant and cozy little place for real good food.
I recently attended the Mangalorean Food Festival here and just lived the food. Each and every element was done up very well. Chef Sanjeev Chopra and Chef Mahesh Naik did a great job in curating this festival.
Taj Hotels has been my favourite for very long for all good reasons like great service, superb hospitality and awesome food.
