Between my mother's Nursing Facility and this ambulance service no one wanted ro accept responsibility or be accountable for my mother (who has dementia) being left alone in the waiting room for a doctor's appt for at least 30 mins. Supervisor at Vital Care blames HiPPA. Nursing home said they ask did someone need to go with her and the driver said no. Either way, they took her over 45 mins early to an appointment and left her alone and ask the receptionist to keep an eye on her. How you take an 87 year old with dementia and just leave them alone is beyond me. No compassion whatsoever! BLAME HIPPA all you want, that client or patient you are caring for is someone's mom, sister, daughter or friend. Maybe you should treat them like they are your mom.

Great, hardworking, and friendly EMT staff... But patient wait times for pick-up to return home are ridiculous. It appears that the dispatch team needs help or additional training. I would never recommend this transport service to a patient.

On 4/8 I Went to Carolina Pulmunary and Sleep to pick up a family member that walks with oxygen and has trouble getting in and out of cars. Your driver driving a van numbered 34 sat in the car blocking the covered exit instead of pulling into a parking spot where you can see the exit. I know there was spot because I was backed in waiting on my family member where I could see the door.
