Great variety of walls that change regularly. Heaps of parking on weekends and nights but trickier during the weekday. Super friendly and helpful staff, dog friendly and great coffee. Shoe hire is reasonably priced and the space is well laid out. Can get super busy on weeknights, especially on Tuesdays when they reset but I tend to go on weekends and it's always great. Very friendly vibe. I love coming to 9D :)

Large number of routes to climb of varying difficulty, which was great. Service was quick, and lots of good merchandise in the shop. There is only 1 ladies toilet, which can be a bit difficult, but at least it's a nice one. Parking can be difficult, so take public transport if you can.

This place is the MacBook of climbing gyms: it's white, a great product, and handsomely priced. Staff are pleasant and coffee is great. The venue is populated with new and old climbers, but not sold out to school groups. Walls are varied with the latest, interesting holds. Nothing "backyard home-job" about this gym, very professional. Campus board is well thought out with phone holds and there's a slack line for when your arms burn out. On the critical side, the membership costs are some how comparable to entire golf courses in the same area with actual staff and maintenance costs. Opening hours could be more generous. The product is fantastic, value proposition for members is not exciting, but should prevent the place from being overpopulated. There's obviously a huge demand for a gym of this caliber.

9 degrees had really revived the climbing culture in Sydney. Sydney needed a fresh new face to climbing and these guys pretty much nailed it. Awesome bright, open white walls and matts, with an open plan gym and training area. The middle is full of couches plus a slackline for letting your hands rest, and the coffee is absolutely on point. Fun boulders, lots of grades, but stronger climbers might find lack of variety or inspiration, along with difficulty training. It's too 'fun' to train there!

Absolutely love this place. Pay an entry fee of ~$20 (discounts for students) and go climb directly after! (There's also different deals if you wish to come back) There's plenty of different courses ranging from beginner to expert so it accommodates everyone. There's a slack line too if you want to put your balance to the test. You can rent climbing shoes for $9 ($7.5 for students) as well as chalk if you need it. Very chill atmosphere, kind staff and a sociable vibe which makes it one of my favorite places to visit.

Took my ten year old son there and he had a great time. As the wall is not to high, no belaying is required, which is a bonus for me so I can sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee. The only downside is limited around the gym. During day time as finding a spot can be a challenge.

So much fun, lots of challenging walls suited for kids to adult climb masters. Kids above 5 can enjoy simple climb to complex ones. Always follow the safety instructions to enjoy the climb! Clean facilities, friendly staff, convenient location, free parking was a bit challenging to find.look forward to visiting again.

Definitely can be fun but if you don't have the upper body strength etc. for it you will tire very fast and only the thought of the $27 you spent to try the sport will have any hope of keeping you going. Otherwise very friendly and helpful staff. Some food and drink options available but definitely recommend organising a different place to eat for something filling and value friendly.

Enjoyed the gym! Nice people and good climbs! Some of the holds/climbs could definitely use a clean as they were pretty slippery. Also docked one star because they offered disposable cups for water. Offer something reusable (glass) or encourage the use of drink bottles at least.

I love coming and pushing myself to the very limits here, learning new things and topping all my personal bests. But you don't have to push yourself here, it's an optional thing, and there is always loads of fun to be had for more casual people as well
