It s governmental bodies like the State Bar (an agency of the Virginia Supreme Court) chock-full of slimy, agenda-focused legal and political professionals which have irrefutably led to the degeneration of Old Dominion into a dump.
The worst people you'll ever meet. Con artists that will say anything and threaten your livelihood so they can shake you down for a couple hundred dollars. If you can practice law in any other state, you should, they don't care about you or the practice of law. Wholly worthless organization that only exists to line their own pockets.
EDIT: I'd like to specifically mention Gale Cartwright as someone that has shown no compassion or understanding at all. She is an example of a jaded attorney that's forgotten what's truly important.
They are corrupt and try to protect the lawyer. I filed Complaint state statues and laws the attorney broke and James C Bodie denied it as if I was asking for help

The Virginia State Bar is supposed to represent the general public for free. Probono services are supposed to be provided to everyone and this is false. They attempt to charge 35 dollars to talk to a lawyer for 30 minutes via telephone and they did not provide free representation as they State. Furthermore the employment commission provides their number to the general public for appeals with misinformation about their free legal services. It's not free! They do not help people!!!
Don't waste your time. They are attorneys who protect other attorneys and have no interest in helping you. Horrible!
Read the reviews! It's all true. I filed a complaint about a lawyer who stole money from me. I had evidence. They are just as crooked and corrupt as the lawyers. The Virginia State Bar needs to give me my money back that I gave them that they collect on every person that files a complaint against a lawyer or law firm. They are all working together! They need to be exposed. We all need to get together and expose these lawyers and the Virginia State Bar. My complaint was denied by M. Brent Saunders. Karma.
