Good music. Very crowded, have to be searched and go through a metal detector on the way in, which is a little concerning

Huge discotheque with different floors. What was annoying that the music was very loud and by paying for deposit of my coat I needed to pay an additional amount of money for a scarf. Not very customer friendly. The prices of drinks are fair and taste is average. At least I had a good impression also related to the fact that everyone is checked before getting access.

Not bad as a night club. Reasonable drink costs but terrible sound system, always overgained. And music.. so popular. Good to go just once.

Absolutely mental night. Student nights ar cheap too. Hard to get served though because its dead busy.

Me and my friend were physically attacked and thrown out by a bouncer for no apparant reason. We hadn't even brought drinks yet as there was a massive queue for the bar. The atmosphere was dark and claustrophobic and there was no where to stand. They were clearly over the capacity of the building but still piled people in. I can happily say i will never be going back there again.

For people looking for a good night out look no further, opening up on and around the 21st June with a more relaxed atmosphere and professional touch from the door to the bar and booths that only the biggest club owners in the UK can deliver . Vinyl "retro" room plays nothing but 2000s+ pop. Great if you like that stuff, not if you planned a 70s/80s party

Apart from being a sweatbox every weekend, the vibe is good and music is on point!

Worst night club in Birmingham Dirty kitchen and dirty plastic coups.

It's okay the first time you go but becomes boring after that. The aggressive bouncers, expensive drinks and the overcrowded floors top it off.

Lovely and big place for a night out. Airline style scanners at the entrance are very daunting though

One of the best party places in Birmingham. On the most happening street - Broad Street. Party starts at 12 and goes till 4 in the morning

Good for student nights out, but if not full which it often isn't they'll start shutting rooms.

Don't waste your money on Pryzm especially if you are black or any other non white ethnicity. The bouncers and the management have no morals and have a disgusting attitude towards people who are trying to enjoy a night out. I had a horrible experience where me and my friends were targeted by bouncers and kicked out for pointless reasons (being to many of us) despite paying for VIP. Additionally, one of my friends was seriously assaulted by 3 bouncers, including being put in a choke hold and punched in the stomach as well as being kicked whilst on the floor. Hopefully I can save someone else from being ripped off by this disgusting club and hopefully they are shut down soon given their history of not letting black people into clubs in London and Brighton..

Night was wrecked towards the end
due to someone stealing my partners phone & then had rude bouncers take me into the bag room to try find my pouch but could not find it as there was so many bags. I sat on a chair then had a big bouncer choke me by my neck & bust my lip then proceeded to grab up my clothes took his hand from the front of my neck to the back ragging me all over the place to throw me outside.

At this point the two bouncers started smirking just as im outside trying to get my bag back while speaking to two police officers who was outside at this point which these guys said that they had checked the CCTV & seen everything what went on.

My good friend had to go back in for me not knowing what this bag looked like or if any of them was mine as he explained the only way he could know is to look through other bags to try find a blue puma vape which he could have basically taken any bag at this point.

As a customer this is very unprofessional & by looking at the reviews other people have also been assaulted by these bouncers for no reason at all. I really hope this gets resolved & not swooped under the carpet as they should have video evidence of the whole situation if it hasn't been tampered with... I also have small bruise around my neck & feels like I have some type of whiplash.

my mom got word of this & tried contacting pryzm but all she said was to contact the manager through email & have got nothing in return. This is going through investigation so I hope something will happen regarding this situation. We've tried calling & emailing the manager to make him aware of what his staff are doing & how we want the CCTV to be looked at.
There is no right to be doing this to paying customers who just want a good time as bouncers are supposed to be there to help or protect people from harm & instead its the bouncers who think they have the authority to assault anyone they please man or women.

Extremely rude security who believe they are police. Unhelpful staff. Seriously overrated. Piggybacking off of Gatecrashers name.

Some bouncers were rude as heck, tried to start confrontation with my friend for no good reason when they are supposed to be the peace makers. Will probably never visit again, rude rude rude

Door staff joke paid for V. I.P got a bottle stole from our table 1 member of the party got attacked for asking a bouncer instead of head he punch him instead AVOID THIS PLACE ...good club shame about the security

Only the best night club in Birmingham and the reason why I come for a night out here! Amazing variety of music and when you get tired of one genre, you can move to another room to hear a different one! Toilets are well maintained also and clean! As I ve been to other Przyms before and it s been the opposite! Cheap entry as well, especially if you book in advance! Drinks prices varies every time I come, depends on the event!

Prysm is so bad that it made me never want to go to a nightclub ever again it ruins Birmingham

Haven t been here since Gatecrasher owned it (c.2012), but in terms of size, location and sound system, this is one of the best clubs in the U.K. Back in the day, DJs like Hardwell, Kryder, Nicky Romero, Laidback Luke, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano played regularly, and the place was always packed as a result.

I know it has a reputation for trouble these days (some of the recent reviews are worrying), but I can honestly say that I never experienced any in all the time that I went. Will make a point of coming up later in the year to see how things have changed.

door staff attacking people for no reason.

The most modern venue I've ever been to. 3 different large rooms with 3 different music genre. My favorite is the main where they "usually" have proper house music on. The bouncers are a bit too strict that u may sometimes don't feel so comfortable but the atmosphere and people u see in the clubs in Birmingham requires the bouncers in the club to be that strict otherwise u won't feel safe to be honest because u see plenty if rude wasted people in clubs in Birmingham who may ruin your night specially if u are with your girlfriend and u will have to lose temper. So in that case u wanna get wasted and completely lose your control I don't recommend pryzm.

AIGHT so boom came here on a Friday expecting a professional DJ and we had some absolute joke as A DJ I understand that Djs May enjoy the song but completely stopping the song to sing a verse is unacceptable and I understand catering to the women is an necessity but this was the worse Dj ever we need the guy with the durag

Went out with a group of friends. Having an okay night I suppose, the night hadn't really Started to be honest, UNTIL



I was taken aback by this, I thought maybe I had forgotten to pay for drinks or something so I asked him what for,

His reply was what really shocked me, "because I want it"

Obviously I said no to this. He said OK come with me for a quick word.

I followed him over to what I assume must have been the head bouncer. For the first bouncer to turn to his colleague and say. " I found this man in the toilet doing cocaine"

I've never taken cocaine in my life and I looked at them both I'm disbelief. I tried to tell the head bouncer what had actually just happened but he wasn't having any of it and I was kicked out Of The club.

The most frustrating thing is nothing will be done about it. But everyone should know that these guys (bouncers) are as dodgy as they come and you should be careful

Shocking prices for drinks 15 pound for 1 cocktail pitcher which is basically ice 15 pound for ice

Everything is fab about Pryzm, except for people who come in. Feels like all of them are bunch of kids on their first night out...

Physically a very nice club love the layout and design. Security were very thorough but extremely polite and friendly so to be honest I ain't complaining. My only critism is the bar staff - IGNORANT! Particularly a Chinese looking guy that was working Saturday night at the Brunch event. Extremely rude, and constantly eye rolling. No need for it at all

People keep asking me if I sell pills when I go. Love it.

Here you feel like you're at the airport. You first have to look into a camera so that the image can be compared on a huge screen with the identity card. Then you hand over your valuables and have to go through a personal scanner. There are 7 floors in the club itself, but the same music is playing on three?!?. Price level high and mostly very crowded with very young audience.

The bouncers need some serious mental help, they are actually so crazy and power hungry it's insane how they even have a job.

Probably one of the worst nights of my entire life!

So my boyfriend had to talk quietly to what I assume was suposed to management, ended up having to pay him in secret to ensure we had our table back! Well done on customer service..not!! Then on being the venue one of our other friends got his nose broke by a member of security for no reason what so ever! We will never ever enter this place again! Purely for the secturity/management was so poor!!!!

I think it might be nice to be beautiful but I ve never been here

Long queues, security checks stricter than an airport and DJs, that seem to be playing a Spotify-Playlist. I like it more the last time I was there in 2018. Still a good place to party to if you wanna meet people and especially on Freshers worth a visit.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Apparently the "Assistant Manager". I find that very hard to imagine.

Spoke to me in a very rude manner. She had the behaviour of a 15 year old immature girl. While I was trying to converse with this particular "lady", she decided to have a conversation with her colleague!! Unbelievable! Will not be going to Gatecrasher birmingham any time soon or if ever!

They are rude to their customers for no reason and don't value them at all. Their reviews on facebook are insulting and obnoxious and their manager just walked off while I was trying to voice my complaints to him.

Good music. Good crowd. The DJ is amazing.
A great place to visit.

I and a friend got accused of not paying but luckily we kept our receipts. Also later in the night my other friend got a glass thrown at his head and was bleeding and was not properly treaded with first air just escorted out of the club! There were also people throwing tables across the main room. i would not recommend this club to anyone. It was my first night out in Birmingham and after this horrific experience it will be my last in the city! If you are looking for a good night out I recommend you go to Level in Liverpool i have been there a few times and never had any problems.

Horrible experience with 3 MALE bouncers. Either aggressive or very heavy handed.

1. First one hit me once in the back just before getting to the search before entry part. I complained to my friend which a female bouncer heard and then told me to make a complaint because he does it to everyone including her.

2. Smoking area. Went outside. Nearly finished the cigarette (so i was standing in position for at least 3 mins). And i get a really heavy two "pats" that felt more like blows to back. Turn round found out it was a bouncer telling me i need to move over. I told him he hit. To which he replied "i only pat you, did it hurt" quite sarcastically. I said yes. To which he said "sorry but you need to move" don't know if it was genuine. I do know that it shouldn't of happened in the first place.

3. Leaving the venue. The two male bouncers were so aggressive. I've never saw anything like it. My friend was waiting for her bag that got taken downstairs security and he literally leared towards her shouting in her face (she was queing on the stairs with everyone else) Perspective she's 5'0 size 8 - tiny. The black guy was MASSIVE height and weight well over 6ft and overly aggressive.

The rest of the venue. Can't complain. Bar staff awesome, prices reasonable, music great, 2 female bouncers i interacted with so helpful. Other male bouncers i interacted with really helpful as well. The more i write this review the more i realise the only thing i didn't like about the venue was the actions of those 3 bouncers. But they're enough to stop me returning because once is too much. 3 times within 2.5 hours is taking the piss.

I've worked in clubs and bars in the west Midlands and London for 7 years now and never saw anything like that which is why i found it so important to write in a review. It was highly intimidating and massively unacceptable.

Absolutely wicked night here. Drinks reasonably priced too! Brilliant atmosphere. Didn't notice any trouble. Mixed ages in here. Good vibe. Definitely worth a visit on a night out, spent most of our night here.

Security are literally just bullies, they have no respect what so ever for the customers.

My friend lost his phone inside and we could reach it with the app find my iphone , they kept saying we can t find it but the phone was right there inside the security room, one member of the staff kept it and it took them almost 2 hours to give it back.

So dodgy, and tbh you cannot feel safe inside at all, always fights and even they got scanners a lot of people brings knifes and cutters inside, I wouldn t recommend to anyone who wants to have a safe and peaceful night to go there, anything can happen to you and no matter if you re a troublemaker or not, the place attracts a lot of bad people that they will hurt you just because they re drunk and can t control themselves, on top of that when you really need security they re not there. Such a shame

I hope this review helps the company to make some changes for example in this PRYZM i would put more security in the corridors as they re always empty and there is where all the magic happens. Thank you

Pryzm ... I don t think so. Rahhh vexed with the logic of the door staff! I arrive on a night out with all of my friends and I m a little worse for wear, yet the door men still take my money off me for my ticket for then seconds later another security guard telling me I m too drunk to enter and I should leave for some fresh air . I then had to run away from the security guards all night trying to live my best life, but they just weren t having it as they said I was too drunk. Fuming ...

Terrible experience, as it seems to be a common thing on the reviews, the bouncers are way in over there head, overly aggressive like are bouncers allowed to square up to a customer's face for accidently spilling a drink? and will drag u out for absolutely nothing. Esspecially the big Nigerian one totally deserves to be in prison with this aggressiveness especially towards women.

Depending on what time you get there the depends on the length queues normally I would get there at 10:30 as it gets really busy at 11:00. When you get in the scenery is impressive the music service and atmosphere are brilliant overall a great saturday night out

Rented booth, and I was given the impression that the money spent on the booth would be offset by the amount of drinks purchased, but when I got to the club they wouldn't honour the deal leaving me significantly out of pocket. Very unethical company, avoid.

change the dj!!!!!!!!!! (at least on thursday night) french speaking. childish songs, we want Hip Hop/House music please !!

Most reviews here are for the recently closed Gatecrasher.

Pryzm has much improved on the last place but only time will tell how long it can last.

Good club normally but without warning the other rooms might not be open. They should give clear warnings from outside where is open and where isn't. Not of us want to dance in the main room so they need to say when the indie rooms aren't open .

Was a good vibe after I was turned around because of my high heels at Levana bar in Arcadian !

Went for my 20th birthday and had a great time. Was unsurprisingly busy but me and my pals didnt mind! Drinks were what we expected in terms of price and we had no problem with queuing or paying at the door. Thoroughly enjoyed it here!
