I trust Dr Tim's knowledge of state of the art procedures and equipment. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and they have a friendly, caring approach. They explain what they are doing, and ...they call me by my nickname, Mick! I appreciate the extra time they take to explain everything they do, as well as emphasizing what I need to do to help keep my eyesight great.

My doctor's name was Jen and she she was standing in for Dr Huebner while she was on maternity leave. This was a routine visit and she found that my eye pressure levels were up very high. She would not let me leave until she was sure the pressures were down. I was given several different types of eye drops until they felt like my eye pressure was under control. Once my eye pressures were under control the doctor let me leave with a referral to a glaucoma specialist. I would highly recommend Virginia eye Care center.

The service I received here was very thorough, pleasant, with almost no wait times. They seem to have the most up-to-date equipment, which helped speed along the process. Prices for the glasses were very reasonable.

Yesterday I had my first visit with Virginia Eyecare Center. I had an appointment with the beautiful Dr. Kathryn Huebner, and she was great. She's not only the most friendly person ever but she's so professional, easy to understand, and fitted me for the best new contacts!! I didn't realize the contacts I was wearing were a little off until she reexamined me and gave me a better brand. Thanks so much, Dr. Kathryn, you're the best and I will be back soon!!

I adore the doctors at Virginia Eye Care Center. My previous optometrist was professional but a little eccentric. (I figured it came with the territory -- who wants to spend the majority of their work days in darkened rooms?) I joined Virginia Eyecare on a lark and have never regretted the decision. I have seen both Dr. Shay and Dr. LaFreniere (AKA Dr. Tim). They are engaging, knowledgeable, and thorough. When I had a motor vehicle accident that required follow-up eye care, they were able to see me quickly (no pun intended). When my dog ate my sunglasses, the opticians were able to help me get a new pair in a timely manner. I'm slightly squeamish with eye exams, but the staff is always patient. The front desk staff is always professional and courteous. Since I've joined, I've also recruited my parents and husband. We all love Virginia Eyecare Center. Many thanks to the wonderful doctors who provide such caring service! I highly recommend this practice and will be sorry when I move away and have to find a new eyecare team!

Dr. Tim is a wonderful doctor and takes the time to coordinate his treatment with other medical conditions for both my husband and I. The office is well organized, clean, and decorated tastefully. The bulletin board is always up-to-date and reflects the latest useful news.

The experience begins with the friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff. Then the assistants smoothly complete the preliminary tests before escorting you to the exam room. Dr Huebner was professional and calm. The optical personnel continue the positive experience by taking as much time as needed to choose and fit your eyewear. A great place for optical care!

Staff was quick on their feet and moved quickly from on step to the other. The Dr. was a bit rushed. Guess it was because we were bumping against noon hour.

Dr. Tim is expert, friendly, and kind. He is taking great care of my eyes. I don't think you could go to a better optometrist or a better practice. They set the standard for family eyecare.

Practice is friendly and knowledgeable. The practitioner I had for the first time, Dr. Huebner, explained each test s use and my result. Although I did not need eyeglasses, I would recommend this practice.

The doctors are fine but everything else about this place is a disaster. Even trying to pay a bill in a timely manner is impossible. Their online bill portal does not work so we sent in a payment by mail, which they never processed and, instead they sent us to collections. Over $50. So, we double paid them. Last time we will ever go there!

This is the best Eyecare center in the area , they have the best Doctors, all the staff are nice , please don t hesitate to go get your eye exam there , you will be very happy.

Dropped by the other day to have my sunglasses fixed as a glass popped out. A tech person reinstalled it in the frame. No muss; no fuss. Completed within five minutes with a smile. Great folks and very professional.

Dr. Mallory Cranmer at Virginia Eyecare Center has provided my annual Eyecare Exam this year. She is an exceptional doctor providing compassionate, timely, efficient and very effective optometric care in a superbly staffed and operated center. Communication with Virginia Eyecare is easy. They provide timely reminders and honor their appointments when scheduled with rarely a wait. Virginia Eyecare s staff is very well trained and their communications are seamless and accurate. They consistently rate 5 stars throughout my experience with the Center and I highly recommend Dr. Mallory and Virginia Eyecare to any family in need of excellent eye care.

The staff is competent, caring, and efficient. They use state-of-the-art assessment methods and devices. I had a complete exam plus the eye wellness assessment which I recommend and time with Dr. Huebner to go over tests and discuss options - it was less than 45 minutes from the time I entered the building.

I HIGHLY recommend the eye doctors and the clinic staff. The front desk seems iffy and honestly rubbed me the wrong way, but the great people upstairs are AMAZING. So friendly, and they work with you!

It was a very pleasant first visit here. Everyone was very friendly and the Dr I saw is great as well! I wish I could remember his name. I'd check the portal but I haven't received the link for the portal account even though I was promised it twice. That's the only reason I'm knocking a star off.

I love to go to Dr Anne M. I won t go to anyone else to have my eyes checked. I followed her to Virginia Eyecare Center when she left another Eyecare practice. Dr Anne is efficient, and oh so nice. She treats you like a friend who is always looking out for your best interests.

Love the optometrists there but the glasses shop is sooo expensive and not the most customer focused. Needed new sunglasses with prescription and was able to order them for $520 on line versus $900 at shop. That s a HUGE difference . Also ordered multiple glasses over the years and last feragamo frames I ordered broke a month after warranty......I could live with that but didn t new glasses at the time so ordered exact frames on line for 3/4 the price of originals and shop wouldn t put lenses in new frames when I asked - and I bought the progressive lenses from them originally - will keep coming to optometrists but glasses shop is off my list - and I have EyeMed high option -

Everyone is kind and professional. The staff is very clean and make you feel comfortable especially with the pandemic going on.

From initial check in, through screening tests, to doctor's examination, the process was friendly and efficient. All COVID protection and sanitation steps were in full force, but not burdensome. I was in and out in under an hour with confidence in my diagnosis and care plan.

Staff is courteous and helpful. Doctors are excellent. Experience has been great for years. Have only had one major issue over glasses in more than 10 years.

While working in our yard I got a tiny piece of wood into my eye. Virginia Eyecare staff and Dr. Shay were very caring and saw me immediately in spite of being busy and took care of the problem. I have been their patient for many years and highly recommend Virginia Eyecare Center.

Just wanted to say that the doctors and staff here genuinely care about your questions and well-being. On top of that, they throw as many solutions to you as possible to remedy or even diminish your dry eyes. Really recommend them, especially if you've been dealt a bad hand from lasik, just as I have. I really appreciate the hard work and the time they've put into their job, and I hope they'll continue to keep doing what they do!
