Virgin Active, South Africa Review

Very rude lady at the front desk by the name of patunia. Really virgin active? This is what you have at the front desk to greet gym members? She also keeps refering to me as Mhlungu.

Closed my account. Got too full. Wifi never worked. Was never impressed.

My favorite Virgin Active club to date. They have a very nice well balanced class schedule. Ntseki Majoro s step classes are the best!

They didn't want to allow me in to the Kauai even though I was there with a paying member as a guest.

Great gym. Got most of what you need for a good leg day amoung others.

When someone is wrong at the gym management is quick to point fingers yet when you are wrong you hide.....

The lady at the front desk is honestly disgusting. Racist. And blatantly rude. It spoils an amazing gym for me. With excellent facilities and great couching. I see that s there s been many complaints about her. So can someone please do something about it

Used to be a member loved this place. Just recently I went there to wait for a friend. Hi please can I just sit by the Kauai and wait? And to my surprise the lady at the front desk responded in the most disgusting manner. I couldn t believe. I was told to wait there and stand outside. We made eye contact a few times. She simply laughed. Disgusting staff. Absolutely disgusting.

Friendly staff. Great variety of exercise equipment and the Kauai is great for a smoothie after your workout.

Crappiest gym ever. Lacks equipment. How can you only have one squat rack?
And your personal trainers are extremely rude

Standard Virgin Active gym, which includes a swimming pool and sauna. The facilities are modern with the only thing lacking is a squash court.

Been to spinning and kick classes in my first week here and it's been of the wall!! Amazing instructors, wonderful energy, awesome facilities!!

Decent Gym but the machines ,dumbbells, barbells need to be taken care of properly .

Old torn bikes that are not working most of the time. When it rains; it also rains inside the gym you might just as well go walk in the rain

One of the best around JHB with almost all the equipment you would want in a gym

Nice gym but members are lazy as hell never Pack their equipment back after use and management useless when asked to sort this issue out

I live close to it, walking distance. But the gym is good...

I have national membership so I decided to go try this gym out. First visit wasn't so friendly. The lady giving me Induction was so moody and rude. Enjoyed my yoga class though.

Equipment still quite new. Haven't ever needed to wait to use any piece of equipment. Nice setup of the special areas.

Very good and hygiene health club has all gym facilities and trainers. Nice pool to swim good enough space available for parking.

Great facilities, clean and neat. However there is no fitness assessment equipment available to assist you tracking your fitness progress.

This gym has way too many members and only one calf machine. That's ridiculous for the price you pay!

Please upgrade the spinning bikes to digital monitor ones

This is a really great gym. Some of the best facilities I have seen and nice and new equipment. Friendly staff as well. Only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because it gets really really busy!! So if you can go during non peak times you are gonna have a nice time.

I've never actually gymmed here. I only visited on two occasions to carry out water safety assessments on their staff. But my oh my it's a beautiful looking gym!
