Pulled in on our way home and was very surprised, very scenic and a hidden slice of Australia, the views are beautiful and worth a look, the people running the place are very very friendly and accommodating, worth a look even if you just stop for a short while
Was ok. Disappointed that the advertised tour was cancelled with no sign Informing you of this from the entrance. The same for water to vans being turned off with no notification but no reduction in the fee.
A great alternative to the Roadhouse so on the highway with a variety of camp sites and cabins. Really great farm house single option meal in the evening. As a bonus a friendly camel was wondering around that place.
Clean ablutions. Good camp kitchen. Dirt and blue metal sites. Good shade and wind brakes.
A real outback experience great hospitality great station cook food. Great menagerie
In the middle of nowhere. Hot showers. Really nice camp ground reasonably priced.
Chilled, good camp kitchen, tons of animals for the kiddies
A beautiful place to stay, clean friendly and peaceful
Loads of interesting animals, good camping pitch, lovely staff and well stocked and cosy kitchen.
Great ranch feel camping & facilities with a hearty ranch style restaurant & bar. Very good place for a very remote location.
This is one of my favorite stops for either finishing or starting the long drive across the Nullarbor. Very good powered and camping sites, great walks, rustic charm and history, as well as good meals and friends to be made in the dining room.
Lovely spot, no water to site so a bit pricey. Meal quantity excellent, quality not too bad but probably a bit on the high side price wise
Top place to stop. Roomy sites, good food and lots to see. Loved it.
Highly recommended stopover. Plenty of room and a nice road in. We were using a double swag which we like to set up under our awning but you can't drive your vehicle onto the tent sites to protect the grass, so that was a bit of a bummer . Maybe a bit more room so tenters can use their awnings on their vehicles would be nice. Other than that everything is good. Bring some $1 coins for the hot shower
Great place nice and quiet clean amendities
Great kiwi cook/reception
Nice setup, good people, amazing country, well worth doing the the walk up the hill for the view and to put your name in the microwave
Fraser Range have welcoming, lovely staff, great food and facilities. A truly wholesome environment to relax and get away or as a working crew. If the highway is closed due to fires this is where you'll want to be
Just a nice spot to chill. We had a pleasant walk up mount pleasant.
Camp kitchen is spectacular $1 showers instant hot water and just a real true blue place to stay. Staff are very friendly helpful and polite.$22 unpowered or $30 powered take the kids see the camel.
What an oasis: old stone farm buildings, shady trees, camels, goats, sheep, emus, cockatoos. Only played Nullarbor Golf but it's a delightful setting with spaces for caravans
In 2019 we stopped here.
We had the new cabin accommodation, which was quite nice, especially considering the outback location. Ample room with 2 tub chairs and small coffee table, but no lounge nor kitchen utensils or cooking facilities, but there is a camp kitchen. We booked in to the dining area for the evening meal, so not having kitchen in the cabin was not an issue for us.
In 2014
The room we had was in the old shearers quarters and being fairly small rooms, there was no room for much more than the bed, which was large and comfortable. There were two large pillows and these could be used as back rests against the bedhead to read. The quarters were quaint though. We enjoyed the stay and used it again on the return Nullarbor drive.
The toilet and shower block was in another building and shared with other guests.
A communal kitchen was provided, but a roast was on offer for $25 a head and we opted for that. It was very tasty, although we both found the gravy and baked potatoes too salty for our taste. We also stayed on the return Nullarbor drive and the menu this time was Shepherds Pie, which was good, although still a bit salty.
Fraser Range is an awesome place to stay at the end (or start) of the "crossing the Nullarbor" adventure. A genuine station stay with great facilities - including the cooked dinners (extra cost), great wildlife, excellent walks, awesome sunsets and a really welcoming camp-fire circle. Would definitely stay again if we were heading that way.
Great place for stop over. Well set up , quiet, great fire and sunset hill
Great camp, facilities and fire pit also the very friendly Camels
The owners really look after the travellers here. Worth a stop
Awesome caravan Park, beautiful location. Great amenities. Drinking water and Power. Hosts are amazing. Very friendly. Highly recommended.
Nice meal and a terrific campground given where you are in this great brown land.
Its a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the surrounding. Amenities are great. Dogs allowed.
Always a good place to stay. We used the cottage which was a good place to stay. Community meal was great. Have stayed with and without caravan and has been great each time. Would stay again.
Great spot to stay. Just did one night to get some rest. Nice and quiet at night. Clean toilets. put it on your list
Great place to stay. The lady in the office was very friendly. Facillities very clean and tidy. Recommended for travellers wanting a nice quiet place to stay and enjoy.
Nicely landscaped small campsite with everything you need. The toilets and showers were very clean and in a modern condition. The campsite is nice and quiet. There is only one negative point for me: The shower water is cold, so nothing with a warm shower in the cool evening.
Great camp facilities- very clean, a camp fire was lit, DOG FRIENDLY, very busy little camp ground from caravans to us in our swags. Powered sites, bbq, etc
Lovely oasis after a long day of travelling across the Nullabor. Great facilities and service.
Very pleasant stay neat and clean facilities. Had a great meal in their restaurant. Well worth the stay.
What a great place.
Real friendly people
Great for everyone
I'm greatful for the people at this station from the Grey nomads to the workers but $22 for a patch of dirt on the ground and not even a showers I think the price should be like $15 or less :/ ($1 for the shower) I'm glad that from a cycling perspective that this place is even here but yeah price should be altered for unpowered..
Loved this place. Clean amenities friendly staff. Relaxing spot to kick back for a few days. Kids are free to roam around, ours had a ball. Dinner and drinks were priced quite well too.
We are going back there on our way home too.
nice place with excellent facilities and friendly staff, food's pretty good too. little to no mobile reception, no wi-fi, and a long drive from the nearest shop, but the station office has a relatively decent selection of foodstuffs, including bread/eggs/veg/bbq meats.
Very hospitable management and staff nice room which allowed for my dog also .. would recommend
Rustic caravan park/sheep station. Unpowered sites grassed and quite large - pleasant caravan park only 2kms off the eyre highway - good road in
Absolutely a great place to stay. Sure beats the road house.
Nice and quiet ( except for the squeaky windmill in the breeze ) a great warm fully enclosed fully functional camp kitchen , hot showers are $1 coin for 5 min , nice and hot on our cool 5 deg morning , great spot to stop
Charge $30.00 for a night add shower $4.00 ea =$34.00 per night fair go $25.00 would be fair.
Great place after driving the Nullabour. Nice shady drive thru sites. Good amenities & laundry. Very friendly staff. Good gravel road in. Easy 1 km drive in. Loved our stay.
Ok for a night. Sculptures and old farming machines trucks and tractors! The facilities are worn. Anyway a special place worth a visit!
We stayed in the quarters and although no air con and a 45 degree day, hardly felt the heat through the stone walls.
Showers and toilets were clean. Showers were $1 for 5 mins, which wasnt an issue.
Staff were very friendly and so was Tash the dog!
The Lamb Shanks were amazing as was the scenery and atmosphere.
Will be back and recommending to friends!
Great place to stay after crossing the Nullabor. Friendly people and great facilities (camp kitchen). Take $ 1 coins for a 4mins shower.
Lovely place to stay. The stone houses maintain a constant temperature and the camp kitchen is perfectly ok. The whole place breathes good atmosphere.
Very surprised place!
Literally an oasis in the middle of nowhere
Best part was sitting around the purpose built fire place listening to everyone's war stories from all over the world
Excellent place to stay, facilities great and sites good size. Had a wonderful roast lamb and pav for sweets at the restaurant with a nice glass of red. Prices not bad for being out so far .
Too expensive, unpowered sites are really vulnerable to the wind and the toilets were clean but absolutely wreaked. You could do a lot worse, it s useful for a nights sleep whilst driving across the Nullarbor but that s it.
Great spot, very reasonable prices, Roos Emus and a resident Camel as well. Will definitely be going back.
Oasis in the middle of the bush after a long drive.
Really good facilities and staff. There are so many photo opportunities.
Quiet and peaceful. Great out back area. Loved the old vehicles.
When I wake up in the morning I found many Kangaroos in the park. So interesting. They jumped very fast and kept distant from me. If I go there again, I would like to stay there for 2 days.
Quality, clean, Air-conditioned, self-contained single rooms with bathroom. Very comfortable. Fantastic staff who happily help you with anything you need. Meals provided are huge, healthy and tasty. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
The staff were very accommodating considering we came in very late and booked our room last minute.. the facilities were great and the place was very peaceful and enjoyable.. would stay there again if we have the opportunity.
Great cool place to stay. However you had to pay for site plus pay for shower. Only useful if you need top up. Very picturesque area.
Exactly what they advertise "an oasis in the outback". After driving for 10 hrs it was so good. Easy drive through sites....we got to choose. Great facilities. So peaceful and quiet..we had the best night sleep. Definitely recommend
great spot. And the evening meal was amazing. would definitely stay there again
Fantastic camp, staff exceptional, Roast dinner was absolutely tremendous.
Large spacious sites, clean amenities. Friendly staff, would definitely stay here again
Excellent stop and good staff. Facilities are great.
Great place to stop at, great meals too. Will be back for a longer stay.
Had a great stay, food at the station was beautiful ,nice basic surrounds best for just chilling out
Nice camping area. The only complaint would be not enough toilets, 2 only in each. 3 showers, one not working, other with broken lock.
No wow factor but lots of walks. NO water hook up for vans. Great camp kitchen.
Best camping ever for this price. Nice walks in the midle of nowhere. Nice staf
Fantastic stopover. Friendly people. Managers Lisa and Steve very welcoming. Watched state of Origin with them in Camp kitchen.
Beautiful old station with camping and basic rooms. Beats the motels!
