Villas Sol Hotel & Beach Resort Review

Located up in the hillsyou have a fantastic view of the ocean and the beach and you get to see beautiful sunsets the staff was very helpful they would go out of their way to help with anything.very clean and comfortable place the food was excellent and very friendly staff!

Beautiful resort. Easy shuttle to a low-traffic beach with great restaurants. Only issue was security not speaking any English, though that was a very minor issue.

The customer service was amazing thank you so much. I highly recommend the spicy Guaoro. Nice enough place but a little dated. No gym though.

2 stars are for the staff working in the restraunt, bar and the shuttle... Front desk staff is a joke. Beware of the Wanderlust folks... DO NOT give them your $! 1st room they put us in had 2 queen beds and 1 completely blocked the door to the patio/ only window in the room. Had to fight to get a room with a king bed. Food and drinks in all inclusive was only ok def had better. Playa Hermosa was beautiful. Overall calling themselves a resort is a giant stretch more like mid/low grade hotel with food and drink option. Oh and lastly the airport shuttle driver scammed us out of $$ by overcharging and then conveniently not having change.

The food is regular, little varied snacks and the restaurant has little capacity, you have to stand in line.

Great casual condos. I love having your own mini house. Awesome fun at the main pool and bar with events all day, on site. Short walk to the beach for beautiful sunsets too. Trams run most of the day to get around. Food was excellent. Staff was amazing.

The room was fine. The food varied between terrible an inedible. The management was insulting and demeaning. The only reason I do not believe that this is the way of Costa Rica is that we stayed at another wonderful location. This place is awful. I would not recommend it to an enemy. Stay away. Oh yes ... the liquor was below bottom shelf, and seemed watered down. One restaurant was closed, the big pool was closed, the activities were all canceled. I cannot stress this enough. Stay away.

Had a great experience with beautiful pools, and views and friendly atmosphere. Food was great and there was plenty of it. Looking forward to going back this fall.

Attentions first, family atmosphere with great facilities

It's a beautiful country. Arriving at airport...lines to get through customs. Our transportation was there . 25 mins to resort. Check in was fast. You have to go out to get personal drinks ,snacks, or refreshments. . Breakfast was great. Every night a different theme when it comes to dinner. I suggest the local restaurants have good foods. Ask around first. Be prepared to be approached on the beach. . . Only tour we went on was the volcano, lakes, shopping excursion. . Oh, go to cocoa beach an eye opening experience. Only regret was not going on a fishing or scuba excursion. . All in all it was nice. And the people in Costa Rica are beautiful.
