Great place. Nice for team outing. But a bit far from Chennai

Excellent place to stay...
The resort was beautiful, rooms were neat and clean,food was good too, hope to see the snacks in the room to be complimentary too Had a great time, played cricket , shuttle , volley ball and indoor games too.
The atmosphere is great and the swimming pool is very well maintained.

It's truly nice place with full facility

Resort is good and clean but the games are ok ok.

It was very very old property, more than 15 years old.
Nothing was maintained well, like the play area things etc
Morning buffet had very limited options.
Very Very Expensive, not worth for the money
Everything inside the resort is charged separately.

Totally wasted our weekend and money here.

Service given by all the staffs is very good. I am very satisfied with their service. Food quality is good. It is a good value for the money you pay.

The roads to this place is quite bad.
Food not that good.
But one among the few vegetarian resorts available.

It's an okayish place. It's far away from Chennai and in a secluded place.

It has a variety of sports to play. And the all the rooms has access to swimming pool.

This was a weekend overnight stay. From Chennai this is a bit long distance, but people who wanna long drive will like this. The resort was very neat and nicely maintained. The swimming pool could be accessed via your rooms which will be a great advantage for ladies. Resort provides a 100% pure vegetarian buffet food which really give you a good taste. Service by the resort team were excellent. Both friends and families will get a happy and get a satisfying stay here. I recommend this resort..

Insects come to your room from swimming pool (door for swimming pool not tightly sealed)
No WiFi in rooms, only available in lobby area.
Food is good. Swimming pool, TT table, carom board, small football field available for fun.

Roads to here tell you not to go.. but the place is simply superb. Non veg not in the menu

Had a good time with family last week. Staffs were very friendly. The resort is well maintained and kept clean. Kids play area is good and clean. Pool maintenance is also good.

The approach road from the main road is not good. It will be nice if they address this issue.

Very nice place, ambience, Good food and tea.. Complimentary cake was very nice.. Bed is too soft so didn't get proper sleep in the night.. Club room is more spacious and cheaper than Garden View room. Overall super experience. Resorts in Chennai.

Stay away from this resort. Don't ruin your time and money here. They don't give a heed to any of your needs. We, a group of 20 felt tiring to choose this resort for our weekend fun.

Last week i stayed in Villageretreat with my foreign delegates for 3 nights.It was an excellent re treat for my guest,nice food,nice ambiance,
good guest relationship.Access to amenities like swimming pool, beach and outdoor games are good. value for money. Good places to park your vehicle too. Awesome experience!!!!

Very friendly staffs. Good place for relaxing. Swimming pool spread is unique. Go there to feel it. For quality also good.

Water problem in villas..no intercom facility..no WiFi in resort..food is awesome.

we stayed here on a pool side room. the room is just enough to fit 2 adults and 2 kids (below 14 years old).

good:
- vegetarian food; tasty; variety to choose from.
- kids enjoyed the pool thoroughly.
- very friendly staff members.
- games are good.

bad:
- approach from the main road to the resort was terrible.
- no door mats provided. coming back from pool made the room really wet.
- many of the games are closed for maintenance. bit disappointing.
- a little pricey for similar places.

i will go back again, if the place is offered little cheaper.

Tucked in a quiet locality off ECR. Loved the silence of the place. A good place for quiet weekend. Luxurious and flamboyant pleasant stay.

On 14th & 15th May, we have had our group meeting (with all staffs and our boss from Sweden). The arrangements were co-ordinated by me and my colleague who is stationed in Pune. Rooms are good. But the conference room is horrible. ACs are not working and the room is not clean, stinking. ACs were tripping but no one was there to attend the complaint. During hot summer, people were fuming inside. Despite our prior instruction to the Operations Manager that 2 times coffee/tea with snacks to be served during the meeting, this was not followed up. Staffs are inadequate and inexperienced, looks like.

One of the room, while coming out, my colleague noticed a long snake (6 feet). It was scary, that too during night while getting into the room.

Next is restaurant, the staffs are not seasoned and not told about the arrangements. Its very difficult to co-ordinate from city office to the resort. For everything, we had to call the person @ City office.

Only solace is that Ms.Lakshmi, Supervisor who managed to organize things to satisfy the team members.

In my opinion, it was a wrong choice by my colleague. Since I am in Chennai, I should have visited the property before we made all the arrangements. It was a mistake done by myself, though I was co-ordinating over phone.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary and we had an amazing time. The rooms are very good and have all the modern amenities. The food, ambiance and service were awesome. You will get a very consistent high quality service experience at all the places at the resort. It was an great stay that I would always remember in my life. Will come back again for sure.

Budget friendly resort and they serve only veg dishes it's awesome taste.

The place is located far from the city and is not close to the beach. I went their with my team for a day outing and we had good fun. The food here is quite good unlike most resorts and has facilities like sports room, ground to play Football/Cricket, ATV, Mechanical bull etc. Overall it was a nice experience.

Marvelous experience. totally enjoyed.It has been an awesomely superb enticing moments which i cherished with my loved ones in village retreat. Natural way of detoxifying our brains, body, soul, mind, heart along with every single cell. Spending those precious time with your precious family ones is all we need. We enjoyed a lot

my experience was very good,it is very good in condition,well maintained,nice rooms,food quality is also good,nice behavior of all staff,and they are very helpful.

Awesome I would say this kind of resort is tough to find and the stay here was more than great. We'll maintained and luxurious room great buffet and clean areas were the highlight we experienced good in the resort and a better pool which have made the place much better.

It's an ok place....rooms were neat and clean but service is not up to the mark...most of the activities were not available for eg paint ball machine was not working ....if u are in a group u can enjoy the place as they have slides for small kids,huge grounds to play football,cricket...volleyball etc

The atmos is excellent, but no wifi connection available. Decent food. Ultimate fun!

very comfortable beds. Rooms nicely appointed. Staff very friendly and lovely to our three children who we were travelling with us. Excellent breakfasts. Very clean. The pool was beautiful. For family point of view it's really good as being parents we don't have to worry about our kids. Overall a great experience would love to be back at the property soon

A perfect place to relax from your busy schedule. Lot of extra sports activities, clean and tidy rooms, tasty food , best place for people preferring pure vegetarian food, also has a small cricket ground , ad volleyball area. Swimming pool is equally clean directly accessible from the rooms. Also has villa for accommodating big groups and has a play area where you can party all night with permission.
Overall a good experience at economic cost.

A good place with a great swimming pool ..gives a real feel of village by keeping us away from technology.

Best resort at the best price.. Adventure rides, swimming pool, outdoor and indoor games.. Only vegetarian food is provided... Worth to spend weekends here with family.. Quite a long distance though.

Rooms were worst maintained.after taking long time to change the room, next room was also not good.

Stayed in this beach resort with family for 2 days and was blaming ourselves as 2 days were very less. This resort was fantastic considering big clean swimming pool, hospitality , Food, security and whatever you can think is best. Even if you think to identify negative points, you can not find a single one. Want to visit here
again.

Great Place for a family getaway! Food is awesome, staff are very courteous!
The only place in ECR where every room has an attached pool and prices are very reasonable.
Completely pollution free, you will feel very close to nature. A lot of activities to do like rope walking, ATV, shuttle, football, Indoor games and many more.
Mobile Network is very low! Rooms are very large and spacious, ample car parking space. Value for money.

Pleasant stay, great service,We stayed from Wednesday to Friday last week. The weather wasn't great but at least the hotel was very nice.
Got a little time to relax in the pool and have a drink. Our suite was very roomy, clean and accommodating.We will most likely stay here again as this was definitely the place to be for a good time.

The food was good. I would suggest you to take one day package only as the rooms were average

Good resort for families. Only Vegetarian food. Swimming pool is clean and easy accessible from rooms. Saffs are helpful. Easy check-in and check-out. No Room services and food is expensive. Suggest go for complete package including food. It will be cheaper and no restaurants near by. Need to improve the amenities for indoor and outdoor games. Roads are bad near to the resorts.

A really nice place for a get together with family, friends or colleagues. well maintained area and they also have a lot of outdoor activities which people can enjoy. The variety of food in vegetarian is good. They also have a big swimming pool,rooms are nice and spacious. Overall a nice place for a Weekend or small gatherings. Definitely worth trying..!!!
