After an 8 hour drive, an amazing massage with Crissy completely alleviated my shoulder pain. I was very relaxed and ready to start hiking and sight seeing. She made me feel very comfortable and was easy to talk to. I would highly recommend her! Charlotte M.

Real review about the time share lodging.

Real review about the time share lodging.
Start with the good that made it two stars. The program that they put on and the staff working are great. They have lots of activities that are fun. Doc and Matt are great hosts.

If you are looking for modern, you are in the wrong place. I feel like I went into a hot tub time machine and transported back to the 1980 s. Except we are modern day with stuff that has been used since the 80 s and the parties the last 40 years were awesome because the once red floor is brown, the once pink chairs are brown and everything is brown. Time for an update.
Overall, I don t recommend this place unless you get an amazing deal.

The entertainment is great but we use to be able to listen to Katrina until 12AM you cut her down to an hour and only on Fridays and Saturdays. So the fun stops at 10:30 for your guest. Katrina and Andy are great with the guest. You do always have great song and dance and great comedians I give you that.

Well, we took a vacation after more than a year, due to Pandemic. We took a all inclusive package(activities and meals) and a traditional room. The photos seemed nice, boy we were in for a surprise, the whole resort itself is so dated including the stain filled carpets, we managed to call the housekeeping and they did clean but old stains they don't budge, they disinfected, considering my 9yr is not yet vaccinated. The maid service and activities are sort of there but not up to the mark, as they advertise on their website. The water isn't pristine and outdoor pool needs TLC. They have one washer and dryer for main rooms, timeshare rooms and traditional rooms. We wasted a whole day doing just one load of laundry, this was our vacation per say. The vending machines were crapppy and did vend everything other than the detergent.
The plus side was the good air and mountain scenery.
The dining service was very slow and we being vegetarians, did not have much choice, they did accommodate our needs, but too much cheese, don't know if Italian food is such or it was Chef's way. We enjoyed the breakfast and very good quality butter.
Overall spend your $$ someplace else than this resort. I wanted to keep it local and wanted to experience the upstate NY. I will definitely choose better next time.

The Villa Roma is a nice getaway. The food and service are better than most of the Catskill resorts. The golf course is in very good shape and maintained well. Due to its hilly terrain, I wouldn't recommend it for "duffers", but good golfers should handle it fine.

This is a multi building resort and hotel. The timeshare condos are roomy with adequate size kitchens. There are hotel type rooms as well as one and two bedroom condos with outside decks.
You can purchase food packages in the main hotel area for dining or visit their restaurants for all meals as you wish. There is a coffee and ice cream shop too.
There are many activities available to join in on and a few bars and nightly entertainment.
With Covid they do comply with CDC guidelines related to housekeeping and all activities!

1 star, only because I can t give it 0. SUNDAY. Place is empty, yet they gave us a room FAR from everything, had to manage several ramps with handicapped person. Room has a musty smell to it, but is clean. Dinner spot closed, sent to Roman Cafe, where food was mediocre at best. MONDAY Tried to join some activities, but no one here. Dinner spot still closed, dinner at cafe again. Pot roast was warm ( at best ). Chicken was literally FRIDGE COLD inside, had to send it back and get a different dish. Waited 35 minutes for replacement to come out. Tried to join poker game, only 1 other person showed up. TUESDAY Went to dinner, got sent up to 3rd floor dinner hall. At dinner hall, told it was too late, they don t serve after 730 ( we got there at 755), told to go back to 1st floor. Again, warm food. Every seat/sofa/armchair must be here since 1970, they look worn and cushions just disappear when you sit on them. A TRUE WASTE OF MONEY. Can t wait to get out of here tomorrow.

You do not need to be a resort guest to enjoy a meal and a show here. Make reservations for either and they take care of you at Check In. EXCELLENT meal. I think due to circumstances this summer wait staff is stretched. But they give outstanding service. Friendly, well trained, knowledgeable and try to accommodate all requests. Be patient, it will pay off. 5 star experience.

My grandmother, wife and I stayed at The Villa Roma for one week, and it was the best week we've had in a while. The staff, including Matt and Doc Holiday, provide excellent entertainment. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and the staff treated us with the utmost care and respect. 10/10 would come back!

This place has a lot of positive things like good food, many activities on site, free shows and much more but it also has many small negative things. Worst WIFI I have ever experienced in any venue. Different networks for Timeshare and hotel and you must connect with each depending where you are. In the Roman Cafe couldn't get a signal without playing with connections. Secondly is Parking by the main entrance where most activities and restaurants are located. You either park by your room, in.oir case a Timeshare unit and walk or call for the van to pick you up. If you drive they have a parking lot which is a distance away from the main entrance and the lot has more potholes than NYC roads! With so many people walking the roads are poorly lit which can cause tripping or some other type if accident. In the main lobby the ice cream and Starbucks shop was closed most of the week, we arrived in Sunday wasn't open until Thursday. Mask wearing is an issue. If you had vaccinations you do not have to wear a mask however, children were running around without masks throughout the hotel and Not one staff person did or said anything. This is just wrong. I said they are small issues and they are but we still had a great time, staff is very helpful and willing to assist you whenever necessary. Cleaning staff were wonderful. Waitresses in Roman Cafe were excellent. Scenery is amazing, deer everywhere.
