Horrible service on the phone call, and tell me didn't sure will delivery to me and need waiting one and half hours, totally piss me off. You guys are such mean service, it's unbelievable, you don't want delivery why would you have this service? I definitely tell everybody how horrible service do you offer. I am pretty sure if you guys keep doing like this your restaurant will be closed soon.

killer cook, prime rib was faaaaannntastic!! Good atmosphere on patio too, entertainment was adept and classy 2 thumbs up.

I grew up eating here regularly, and now make it a must stop every time I am back in town. Always the best Pizza and Italian Food in the area!

Incredible food. Staff is great. Restaurant decor/seating needs a bit of a facelift. A bit worn out. Still, a wonderful place. We will certainly return.

We love Villa D Carlo s pizza so we were very disappointed last night when we waited to be seated only to be turned away because they were closed. The hostess/waitress said, we close at 8 . Turned around and walked away. I looked at my phone, it was 8:03 and we had waited 5 minutes for someone to come and seat us.
8 seems very early on a Thursday night to begin with but your operating hours are your own choice. Problem is, the closing hours are not posted anywhere.
We took our dinner plans elsewhere and were not disappointed to find several other places open late downtown. I work until 7:30 so it s nice to know other people in Kenosha eat later than 6 p.m.

Their food is top notch and their service is excellent. In addition to that it over looks Lake Michigan.

Terrible service! Treated the older community terribly tonight. I ve never been so disgusted by such terrible service. The manager that is there now is so rude and disgusting! Waitresses we so rude! Never again will I or my family return to this establishment! If you are reading this I tell you this is not the place to take your family here.

I have gone to Villa D'Carlo for almost 50 years... It is that good.

Seated at an awful table even though the restaurant was 75% empty. Had the rudest server ever, who actually argued with some of us when we tried to send some awful food back. Server refused to come pick up our bill, then was visibly upset with her minimum tip. Not going back anytime soon for so-so food and terrible service.

The servers were outstanding. Service was very good. Ordered a large pizza and needless to say we left none on the plate. Great sauce and well cooked. Love the thin crust.

The all time best pizza I have ever had anywhere including Ktown. I have lived coast to coast. And what a fun experience. The bartender Josh and the chef was great... Wonderful place. The best place for a fantastic old fashion!!

Food was ok my pasta dish was soggy. Pasta noodles over cooked, water not drained well, sauce dumped over watery noodles. The sauce tasted like out of a mix from Sysco not home made. Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli. Chicken bites were pervaded, dry and tough broccoli over cooked. Gave it 3 stars because others at our table liked their dishes. If they had minus stars that's how it would be graded. Server was not well trained going through the motions, Kenosha restaurants are looking up this is not one of them. If u like Italian food try else where.

This was our first time here and we will definitely be going back. The service was outstanding, food was tasty and pricing was great. Worth all the stars!

Don't come if you plan to be done in a hour. Long wait times (at the table). Full bar and it looks like the kind of place you hang out with friends..... If you were rich.

IMO the best pizza in Kenosha. Other menu items are good as well, plus the service is great. Pride of ownership is apparent as well, they recently updated their bar area and took down some of the old deco. They always put up great holiday decorations as well.

I've been dining here for 40 years. They just did a renovation and it looks great. The Italian food is authentic and excellent. They are renowned for their pizza for eat in, take out or delivery. There are tables outside on the Lake Michigan.

I have been here twice now. It is convenient for a quick dinner to my sons university.It would be wonderful if it was good. I am Italian, and it reminds me of a bad 70's throwback. You could hang old Chianti jars on the walls. The pizza is sub-par, and each time my son gets pasta. This time he had the ravioli. It was dry on the ends. Not made to order at all. Definaltey a chef boy r d kind of sauce. I don't normally complain, but don't pretend to make Italian food if its coming from the freezer Dissapointing for sure. I would rather have anything else for dinner.

Seven of us were there and our meal was brought out at 3 different times. People finished their meals before I got mine and all I did was order a hamburger. Manager didn't seem to care about my complaint. Never go there again.

The best pizza in Kenosha, where that REALLY means something

Service was ok. Waiter was very slow to get drinks. Only about 8 people in the restaurant when i ate there so he wasn't busy just talking to other employees alot. Food was just ok. Not real flavorful nothing to write home about. Would i go back. Probably give it one more try.

Great place for a cocktail before the Red Witch sail. Excellent bartender!

This is by far my favorite pizza place! I love the pizza, the atmosphere , and the story behind it all. I definitely recommend trying it!!

We started with a PHENOMENAL appetizer which had a variety of meats and cheeses. I felt honored to try it out as at the time they just started the dish a few days prior!Besides their Pizza, their Pasta dishes are incredible! Rob talked about each of those traditional pasta dishes are made right at the restaurant (along with the HOMEMADE sauce).

My favorite Kenosha restaurant. Has GREAT PIZZA AND ITALIAN FOOD.

Wonderful thin-, but not cracker-crust pizza. I had the pesto. The tiramisu was mind-bendingly good.

Good Italian fare that is reminiscent of a home cooked meal. We sat by a window on a snowy day and it was lovely. The staff was friendly and the service fast. The decor was a bit unusual for me, and the restaurant was relatively clean.

Food is decent Italian fare you would find anywhere. The pizza is the standout here delicious corn meal crust. It gets two stars because the service is well below average. No seating structure, its like they just opened up last week but have been in business for 50 years. Definitely need more staff, better trained employee's, or new management.

Pros: Nice location right off the lake, and nice outdoor seating options. Waitress was friendly and attentive and food was brought out quickly.

Cons: The food was terrible. Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and chicken: pasta was Al dente and broccoli crisp tender (good) but sauce was runny, almost like milk, and had no flavor. I don't like overly salty sauces but I literally dumped 3/4 of a jar of parmesan and salted, peppered and added red pepper flakes to the dish to get it to an edible state. Chicken had a slightly funky taste like it was borderline going bad. And the chicken seemed to be boiled and unseasoned, no browned edges/texture. Bread they brought to the table is dried out, not fresh, and poorly cut so it fell apart trying to take a slice.

My husband and I switched plates halfway through the meal, he had the Italian combo plate, which consists of lasagna, ravioli, and gnocchi in a red sauce. Sauce was seasoned fairly well and had good flavor. Everything else was mediocre at best. The gnocchi was tough.

Maybe we had an inexperienced cook on a Tuesday night an hour and a half before closing time. Maybe the classic Italian entrees are not this place's forte. Either way, we will not be returning.

Our food was bland. The "salads" were lettuce and a tomato slice. Our server, and i am saying this lightly, was the worst server i have ever had. Out of 6 people in our party only 4 actually ate since she forgot to ring in the other 2. Then, she brought our bill 6 times with it being completly wrong. I will not ever step foot there again.

The service at this restaurant was terrible! Honestly horrible. The first thing we asked for was if they were bringing bread and she told us only is we plan to order dinner.... we were a table of 5 with dinner reservations, really? My daughter ordered chicken cessar salad which was delivered without the chicken. We asked twice for it! Finally after we were finished eating 20minutes later she brought it on a small butter dish cold and tough that was supposed to be added to the by now wilted salad. 2 of us ordered the $26 veal marsala that came in a bowl and everything was swimming in a onion soup broth tasting liquid. Disgusting! Not marsala wine sauce for sure. After finding the veal you had to cut it in this soupy broth and it was tough and full of grissel! I asked to have the $17 so called chicken ceasar salad omitted from the bill and she was shocked. This was after many other very rude events like her saying heres another basket of bread im going to set it on top of the empty basket as she whizzed by and it toppels over. Then another waitress runs past our table and picks up the shakers of parmesan cheese and peppers and puts it on another customers table. Easier than getting another from the kitchen I guess. Over priced, awful food, terrible terrible service. Maybe the are few choices in the area but I would rather eat at home then be treated that way and be charged for it.. 1 star too many! Eat anywhere but not there!!!

Always a great place. Speedy service, excellent food. Way too much food to eat. Had to take some home.

Food was good and they were able to accommodate our fairly large reservation at a pretty late notice. No kids menu but had pizza for 3 of our kids and buttered noodles and fries for our 1 kid that doesn t like pizza. Waitress took a bit to deliver a couple drinks but was friendly. She seemed rather busy.

Love love this place. Been around for many years. Great pizza and dinners. Great service. Little on the pricey side for some things.

Went on Sunday. The wait staff did their best to handle the crowded restaurant. But management was clearly unprepared to handle all the reservation. Will not be taking the chance of dinning there again.

We recently had our small wedding reception there in the basement . The food was great. The service was superior. They worked hard and fast to assist with anything we needed. Big thank you to everyone there. We will definitely be back and send more business your way!

Less than stellar service. Food is ok, but not close to being Italian any more than chef boy are d. Hard to get s good meal in this town. Opt f or Casa Capri for friendlier hosts and better good!

We have been customers for years, however the other night the service was so slow it was nearly non existent. The waitress took our drink order; 10 minutes passed before the drinks arrived; another 10 or so minutes passed before she returned to take our order for 2 entrees; another 15 minutes passed before she brought our relish tray and bread! After nearly 30 additional minutes the entrees arrived. My chicken was good, but my husband's chopped steak was so dry he could barely eat it. He got more au jus but it didn't help much. He should have sent it back. We took it home because I was going to reheat it with some gravy but he decided he didn't want it. Ok we threw it out..........what a waste. We ordered a cannoli "to go" to share later for $5.00. When we went to eat it later in the evening it was stale! I was furious! There is no excuse for that at those prices. Tenuta's has fresh ones for half that price. We were quite disappointed and will probably not go back. It's a shame that their service and food is not as good as it once was. Our 25+ years love affair with Villa D' Carlo is now over. It was the canolli that did it. Update: Unfortunately we went back tonight because our children took us to dinner and that's where they wanted to go. I ordered the sausage bomber; it was the worst I've ever had. The sausage was bland and "stale" tasting, no cheese with a small bowl of red sauce on the side to "dip" it in. The menu said it came with fries and slaw. The waitress asked me if I wanted fries OR slaw. I pointed out that the menu said it came with both and she told me that was a "misprint." What a crock of crap! If you are not offering what it states on the menu, then you should have the menu reprinted and correct the "misprint." This is absolutely the LAST time we will ever go to Villa D' Carlo! Before I could send back the sausage bomber my son in law finished it. He was welcome to it. Never again.

Great place to eat, amazing server's and the best pizza in town. The manager is great helping out the servers and it's a nice place to go cheap or expensive! Love this place

Blonde waitress with the tattoos was exceptionally rude to all in our party. The food was not bad but her awful attitude towards every one of us was completely uncalled for. We spent hundreds of dollars at the restaurant and live just up the street. Due to her attitude we will never be returning.

I love Carl's pizza! I moved away about 5 years ago and I took for granted the awesome pizza in Kenosha. You simply can't get pizza like this in every city. I went back for a family function where we rented they place and it looks very different.

We've been ordering Carls pizza since I was a kid... over 50 years.. this is the hardest review I've had to write. I used to believe that Carl's Pizza was the best pizza around...bar none. Ask anyone that knows me... We ordered 2 large pizzas tonight. 1 was supposed to be no charge due to an ordering error the last time we ordered pizzas. They conviently lost any record of this. The second pizza was burnt and was not eaten. Not sure what is going on at Carls, but it will be a while before we order pizzas from here again... what a shame. Bob DeCesaro
