Unbelievable I didn't imagine that it was so big and kept so well ....

A marvelous place of great historical interest, a must see of archeology

Very cool hidden gem away from all the Roma tourists. Could have used a nice map to show the ideal route to walk to see everything without backtracking.

For those who have problems with walking I begin by saying that from the ticket office at the entrance there is a steep climb of about 500 meters to do on foot. From the entrance onwards you can indulge yourself with the paths of the ruins up to the main pool which in my opinion is the most beautiful part, in addition there are the three exedras which are also very suggestive. Also noteworthy is the park with the centuries-old olive trees and the panorama

An untidy historical place but full of life and history. The evening opening with lighting makes it even more beautiful.
The problem arises in the lack of care and many passages blocked due to any work.

Magnificent place, underestimated by the Romans. I myself had a limited image of both size and beauty before visiting it. Instead it is a treasure of culture that reveals the world view of a great emperor. I recommend going with the guide or reading something about it and about the life of Emperor Hadrian before. The Villa, which is beautiful in itself, certainly acquires additional charm to understand it. Good excursion!

But it is not well served by public transport and (January 4, 2019) there was no open dining room!

A path that lasts about 2 hours and a half where you can see the great works of the emperor Hadrian. The ruins of the large and small baths, the house of the praetorians the old warehouses the villa in a large expanse of land all cultivated with spectacular olive trees. The Rocca is a tower where you can admire a spectacular view of Tivoli and its surroundings up to Rome to see. The ticket price is 10 euros per person and you can park inside for only 3 euros all day. Given the great path, several fountains have been placed for refreshment and drinking, you can buy at the sound box headphones for 5 euros that tell the story of the villa, tourist guides of any language and for people with disabilities or walking difficulties can request the help of small electric machines with guide. There are toilets in the path and a kiosk with machines for hot and cold drinks, ice creams, and various products.

Simply gorgeous. Well preserved surrounded by nature. Unique experience. It is advisable to start the visit early in the morning during the summer to avoid the intense heat. Along the way, however, there are fountains, S.O.S columns and benches.

Beatiful archeological site not crowded! Unfortunately there is no cafeteria inside and one has to get out, find a restaurant in a non turistic area, and come back later

I was there the day before yesterday. Shameful that there is no shuttle from the station that takes you directly to the site given the turnout despite being a weekday. Audio guides are not very helpful so I do not recommend buying them.
No refreshment point inside, unpleasant because the tour lasts more than 2 hours at the end of which we find that even outside there is no bar and the waiting for the bus to the center of Tivoli lasts an hour after which a small shuttle where we are crammed like sardines.
Yet it is a Unesco site. CONGRATULATIONS!

The excavations are beautiful but I think they need to be better preserved. Space management certainly needs to be improved.

A site where you can still breathe the magnificence of ancient Rome. There are no toilets abroad in the cashier area and you must first make the ticket and the initial climb to find one. Bring a packed lunch to eat in the numerous areas inside the site.

A gem of the area .A beautiful Roman villa, wonderful surrounded by a beautiful park. Staff at the entrance, friendly, Rimani fascinated by the landscape, shame about the maintenance, you could do more.I advise to go in the morning, so you can visit all the villa within closing time. A villa that must be a tapa on the tourist map.
