No problems, I've always been treated well and have a wonderful Counselor that really listens and cares, same with my Doctor.
I've been going here since 2004.

I just took two days off work to wait a total of 10 hours to be told that they had me waiting for the wrong services in the wrong area of the building. These people have absolutely no idea what they're doing.
Better front desk staff needed. For the most part, the clinic is pivotal to the community. However the front desk /intake personnel always only seems to have 1 efficient worker who cares about what they're doing. Understandably the front desk reps have to deal with some patients who are highly irritated However that should never make them compromise their compassion, patience & efficiency for each client who checks-in. Besides the checkin in process, the clinic runs well.
Horrible! Just to get an appointment you have to show up at 8am and wait anywhere from 3 to 5 hours and you still don't get to see anyone, that's just to make a later appointment thete. I have never heard of such a lousy way to deal with health care. If you have a full day to waste just to get an appointment at a later date then this is the place for you, bc to get in here you cannot call and make an appointment like a normal Dr, you must have nothing to do except wait there all day to make one for another day.
After calling yesterday and making sure about the proper process for a walk in and sharing that we would be using Tricare, when we finally got there earlier today, the receptionist said they could not take Tricare. We suggested to do out of pocket and she explained that would be fraud which I still cant understand why. To make it clear this provider appears in the list of providers for Tricare. Already submitted a complaint with the insurance about this issue
Horrible service, first appointment horrible. You sit in the lobby for 5 hours and Noone explain why. Very rude and when you ask any questions. They told us to come on a Friday because the traffic would be low. Also, we were told that we could not go to another location. Crazy waited over 5 hours. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever seen. If someone is on this site giving good reviews, they are providing completely false information. I really understand why this place is so unsuccessful helping our community. I watched while a patient was arrested for no cause. It is completely sad after our nation is having to deal with the harm from those needing help. Do NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Great place for those who are in need of help with mental disorders or substance abuse problems but lack the financial resources usually needed to get the kind of help they need at other establishments that offer similar services. Also, they have an in-house pharmacy where the most you will have to pay for almost any prescription is only $5! I personally found the Dual Diagnosis group to be very beneficial to myself.
From start to finish. View Point has helped me in so many ways. I don't know how I would have made it through my crisis without them and of course God!!!! You ladies rock!!!
I have been in this program for 2 years almost i only have issues with outpaient service my other programs are great.i am not an addict i have mental health issues.. when you come in for intake or check in for appointments you waiting in a line for atleast an hour. The ladies at the front desk one cant find you in the system or tell you theres nothing to be done. The front office staff at the intake desk is rude disrespectful and they need to be let go. they dont care about peoples needs nor feelings and they never can tell you what is really going on..or tell you i dont know why he/she said that. I applied for an ESA letter.they scheduled me an appointment for my psycoligist. The director told me yes i am scheduling you an appointment. ill have all your paperwork esa letter ready the day of your appointment.2 days later when its time for my appointment the director mrs.kristian called me 45 minutes before my appointment told me no i cant write it we dont do that type of letter after mrs. Kristian said to me yes they will do it and scheduled my appointment for it..over all they refused to write ESA letter.but theres no communication through the whole building
*my husband is in dual diagnostic court order 1 year may 30 2018 was first day in the program as of date june 14 2019 they will not give him a certificate because thwy did not do there drug test through out the program and now he still has to attend classes and when we sxhedule appointments for him the intake desk always tells him no your nor in our system and no we dont have anything on you but tell him to go to class or just leave.
Well they do give everyone access to a phone. Most places don't. That's way I be gave them 5 Stars.
Just wish they would keep me informed about releasing or moving my fiancee.
I've been well taken care of by the front desk, my therapist, Elisabeth Bletsch and Dr. Whissell. Thank you for helping me through the most difficult time of my life!
It is extremely hard to be seen. I have been waiting to see a psychiatrist since May and am now out of meds bc they will not fit me in. The front desk people are very slow and many are not understanding at all. I would definitely not recommend this place. It doesn't even deserve one star.
They have tried to set me up with a therapist and this woman has cancelled 5 times and they don't even know when she will be back if she will even be back. This place is very unprofessional.
I've been going here for over 10 years (since it was called GRN) and they have a fantastic staff of doctors and pretty much everyone who works there is very pleasant to deal with. Very Affordable and highly recommended! :)
i have been going to this facility for over three years now, i have never encountered any problems with the staff. they are there to help and i have been getting the help i need. thanks ViewPoint
Very Unprofessional. I Have A Appointment At 8 am And They're Supposed To Open At 8. I've Been Sitting Here Since 7:45 am And The Building Isn't Even Open Yet. I Had To Take Off Work For Inconsistent And Unprofessional Service and I Don't Appreciate That! People Have Lives.
Other than the first appointment where I was there 8 hours waiting to be seen everything and everyone was great..
I had a horrible experience at this place and will never recommend it. I am only giving it 1 star because o stars is not an option.
I was referred to this location by my friend and boy was it horrible. I called first to ask if I could make an appointment. The lady that answered the phone said if this was my first time, that I could not make an appointment. I had to walk in to see a doctor since I was a new patient. So I left work to go to be seen and was turned away. There was a fat white lady with frizzy blond hair that helped me. I told her I was there to see a doctor and with her nasty attitude, she said "Oh no, you can't see a doctor today! There is a process! I said OK, then what do I need to do? I told her I called right before arriving and she said, "Well there is a process. I can't see a doctor". Mind you I am in a very fragile state of mind and she surely didn't help. I will NEVER refer this place no matter what. She was very nasty, not empathetic, and just didn't care. I said OK, and turned around and left. When working in healthcare especially mental heath, treating people this way is never good. It takes a lot for people to even seek help, and when they do, people like her will make a person just give up. I would have never wasted my time going to the nasty clinic place if I knew they had a flipping process which meant I was not going to be seen!!
I can't even give this place a star at all. The staff members are so rude. I would not recommend this place for any type of mental health assistance. I have witnessed staff members talk so rudely and demeanor clients so badly. I went for services 3 times and refuse to get that type of treatment from View Point Health.
Shaundra a councelor is the worst councelor Ive ever met. She should Never work in the mental health field another day of her life.
Very caring and friendly staff, pharmacy on-site, very good doctors, very good programs!
Front desk people are friendly and efficient as were the ladies who did my evaluation. At no time did I feel rushed nor where my concerns ignored. I have a wonderful and friendly meds therapist in Dr. Morgan who listens well and works with me.
These people were so helpful. They basically work for free because there are more people who don't have insurance like myself at the time. the group therapy was great. the psychiatrist listened to me and really took into consideration what medicine would be best. And even when I told them that certain meds didn't work from prior attemtps they gave me something else. I made friends in the group and I miss them.
I read alot of positive and negative reviews. It looks to me like the attitude you go in with is what you get back. Although it's not professional we are all human and no one like rudeness. Just my opinion.
Nice receptionists, great place for those who have little to no money to get the help for mental and emotional issues. However you should expect to wait a long time to be seen.
This CSB deserves 0 stars. The program manager Michal Collier for Beacon Place, Five Points is not very nice. She talks to the clients in Day treatment like they have no sense. I worked here and I have seen the way they treat the clients and I do not like it. If I had a child coming here I would never send them here. Michal actually is ok with the staff talking bad to the clients. The director QUANNA SYNDOR is ok and supports everything she does. There is another director Karen Norman. They even hire people whos uneducated and cannot do the job well. This Director only has a GED. They hire family and friends. This place is not a place where anyone wants to work or receive services from. They are quick to bill your insurance, but no good service. All the clients in the day program I will keep them in my prayers and you should keep them in yours. This is coming straight from my heart. Run from Viewpoint Health. The pay is not even worth the stress of jumping in.
The counselors and doctors here are great, but dealing with those in the lobby is awful. Not to mention that your first appointment MUST be a walk in, which took me over 4 hours to get in and out of there. It's ridiculous. They need a better system to help new clients.
They helped me get disability insurance and provided me with a safe place to stabilize my medications. The dosages of my 13-15 daily prescriptions took a while to configure. The staff was experienced and friendly. I was glad to have their support. Especially after, the week in ICU, getting my heart and organs functioning normally. Without Viewpoint's help, I would have failed to reach 5 years post heart attack, considering all of the other complications I have.
Nurses and Doctors do not care for patients properly. View Point sends patients home, without warning family of imminent danger they may be in. View Point will then not want to be held liable for their mistakes!
The receptionists are very slow, rude and dont care about anyone in the room they eat and watch stuff on the computer while on the job. The Doctors are good
HORRIBLE!
I've had at least 8 years on and off with VPH and I wouldn't take my dog to this office.
Their office staff is so rude and the doctors are burnt out.
Don't waste your time, it's not worth the upset they provide.
Have never waited more than 15 minutes for an appointment and that was only one time. Aside from the obnoxious other mentally ill patients waiting in the lobby, this place is just fine for treating mental health. The doctors are friendly and easy to work with, and the medications being available on site makes everything convenient. They need a larger operation to be able to help more people without exhausting the current staff, but I recommend this place to my friends and anyone who needs help on a medical level.
I am only giving them 5 stars because of the incredible young woman that works in the front office named Monique. She is an angel and has helped me and my family so much. She goes above and beyond for not only me, but others I know that get help here. Everyone in drug court knows and loves her for her positive energy and know how. If there is a problem she will give her direct extension to you and keep in contact until the issue is resolved. Basically treats you like youre way more than another mental patient. I highly recommend you deal with her. I also have much respect for the doctors because they do a lot and want to help us get to a better place. Overall, it's a solid place for help and recovery.
The best thing about Viewpoint is Kirsten Toth and Dr. Carol Morgan.. Kirsten is number one Therapist there and Dr. Morgan is awesome. If they leave then I will follow. They are very personal and compassionate. They truly listen and try to give practical suggestions and real solutions. Kirsten is hilarious. I love her. Her laugh therapy is just as helpful than talk therapy.
Zero Stars for the service they provide for their clients. I have been to this place three times with my dad, the front disk is as rude as it can get. I cant believe the unprofessional service ,its mental health clinic and it looks like the staff needs some mental treatment. I will contact the management.
This place is a joke and I haven't even started yet. Called two weeks for emergency appointment. Best could do was 8 days later. No one called, nothing. Called Monday saying appointment was wed at three. Tells me I don't have appointment. Sends me paperwork to fill out. I send it back immediately. Tells me I will have my appointment as I indicated. Well it's wed and nothing. Called. Kept getting disconnected. No response to email. Finally got someone. Her answer..I'll send them an email. Unbelievable
Waiting with a client. And you literally wait ALL day.
Stayed here for about 10 days post detox and no idea why people are leaving bad reviews. All the staff was very respectful and polite, some of the nurses were amazing caring women who truly cared for the patients.
The food was decent and they were always giving out extra snacks between meals for everyone. There was meetings, but mostly you sat around, watch TV, played cards or kicked it with other patients, but this isn't some "hardcore" hospital. It's a nice clean place if you need a timeout from life to get yours back in order.
Horrible place to get treated for mental health. The staff doesn't care about helping you or not. Therapist took sick leave so my reauthorization was rescheduled so far out one day and I didn't even get the reminder call. My mental health got worse after the staff at the front desk treated me with most disrespect and unprofessionalism. YOU CHOSE YOUR JOB. I NEVER CHOSE MENTAL HEALTH!
Trash customer service. If you are depressed and want help look else where
