Great rooms, valet, av for meeting and location. Horrible service from front desk and room service. I held a 4 day meeting here and my attendees were complaining about the service. They could not advice me on the location of my meeting room. Sent me to 3 meeting rooms before they finally got it right. My attendees were sent to the wrong meeting room on a different floor. I was avised by one attendee the front desk could not tell her the meeting room so she had to leave. AV is very nice to work with. dry cleaning delivery takes 3 calls 30 minutes apart and still no delivery. In fact they finally told that it had not come back as expected. Three calls an hour and a half later someone who spoke English finally provided me with a real answer. I have been holding events for 31 years. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had.

This place has exceeded all expectations. Here for wedding and the venue during COVID was beyond amazing and the room is like something you would expect in an upscale New York Hotel. Highly recommended.

We took a quick weekend trip to Snowmass and booked our room through American Express fine hotels & resorts.

When we arrived the check-in was super quick and easy. Since we booked through Amex fine hotels we were able to get an upgraded room if they have one. The front desk lady informed us that they didn t have an upgraded available for the first night but if we were open to moving rooms the next night then we would get an upgraded room (which we said yes too). When we got to our room, it was a great size room with a little living room, full-size kitchen, and great bathroom in fact, we would have thought that this room would have been the upgraded room.

This is a ski-in & ski-out hotel, and we were able to get our rentals handle through four mountain sports on the third floor which makes it super easy. You can take the quick golf-cart ride anytime to the village and a quick phone call they will come and get you.

The Torro restaurant has great steaks and their breakfast is amazing (service was top notch for breakfast, was a little slower than we would have preferred for dinner).

The next day- the hotel upgraded our room which was even better! Full size living room with a fire-place, a master bedroom with a fire-place, a separate living area that could be used as a 2nd bedroom, and another full-size bathroom! The staff moved our bags for us with no issue!

All around from service to upkeep of the hotel, this is a must visit hotel and we will definitely be coming back.

Been to this resort many times since it s opening. Very nice renovation of public areas. Some rooms have had a nice face lift, others need a makeover. Location is great for skiing, but with Snowmass Village under construction not much else in area and a $60-80 ride into Aspen, with limited Uber coverage. Valet, Front Desk, and housekeeping excellent. Concierge service was extremely poor. Plan on making all your own arrangements to make anything happen. Toro had excellent food. Bartenders are vastly understaffed especially during the day. The Veuve Clicquot vibe is completely gone and so is that crowd. Has to be a huge loss of revenues for the property. This will be our last visit to this once amazing property.

We were recently up in the Aspen area and got engaged. We had been camping the night before and wanted to celebrate and do a hotel and get cleaned up after getting engaged. All the hotels were booked or around 600$ in Aspen and we stumbled upon the Viceroy in Snowmass. Apparently there was limited space there too because of multiple weddings and events going on but I spoke with the manager (can't remember his name unfortunately) and told him about our situation and he told us he would do something for us (we ended up booking what we thought was a normal room). We arrived at 6pm and the room wasn't ready yet which was curious but we were totally fine with it. They gave us free drinks and dessert in the bar which was really nice and then they gave us our room key which was for a penthouse suite on the top floor. We walked in and the room was monstrous in size and amazing overall. They even had a bottle of champagne on ice waiting in there too.

This place does it right and we can't speak more highly about the lengths at which they went for us on our engagement night to make things as special as possible. 5 stars EZ!

We'll certainly be back!

Wow, my wife got sick from a bacteria in the room. Spent our first day in the hospital. Had to call the paramedics and they took her away in an ambulance. They charged us more than the rate when I booked the room, and didn't seem too concerned that the E.R. Doc said that it was the hotel room that she got sick from. What a low class joint.
