Clean and easy to navigate. Staff were very helpful and friendly when assisting us with my young son. They helped us pre-board so he could avoid the escalator. Great station considering the old layout.

Hello everyone I hope you are well.

Hello everyone I hope you are well.
This is my first visit to this station. I'm not disappointed, the train station is huge, you can enjoy the various restaurants located nearby and in the center station. The person at this station is actually competent, the information is important is correct.
From this station there are many buses to go east or west of Toronto.

Disappointing experiences every time. Staff do not seem to be interested in answering or understanding our questions. I had 3 hours of waiting and I wanted to put my suitcase in the deposit. A first employee of via rail told me that I should keep it with me. A second who saw me dragging my big suitcase offered to put it in the locker room (why hadn't I been told about this at the start?). The counter agent charged me a fee of $ 6. I saw that the business class was entitled to free luggage storage. I pointed it out and she replied that it was for "people who paid dearly". I showed my business class ticket and it was a story to pay me back my $ 6 ... which I dropped. Really a very different experience from what we can have at the Quebec station.

This railway station in downtown Montreal is clean and convenient to lot underground mall and lot of hotels nearby. Amtrak have service to this station from New York Penn station and I prefer to take this Amtrak train particularly in Winter due to Montreal requires to have radial tires on cars during winter months. Car rental Budget is on site and McDonald's is located within the station.

Very ugly station, invisible and hard to find from the outside. Montreal has glorious buildings and this is very disappointing. You should be arriving by train into a wonderful Victorian or Georgian train station, but you arrive into an underground that s virtually impossible to find the entrance for outside.

My favorite station. Equipped with many stores and restaurants. It's also quite easy to find your way around since everything is quite well displayed & organized. Maybe not the biggest business lounge.

This station has everything you could want, from all kinds of cafes and fast food restaurants to a flower shop and Staples. The location is very convenient, minutes walk from the metro, a hotel, Eaton centre shopping mall. What's not to love!

Excellent smoke meat. Food and service is excellent. Wheel chair access. Recommend going by metro to get to the restaurant. Parking in gare central and outside gare central near university street.

took the train from albany to montreal.... FILTHY BATHROOMS - SLOW

NEVER EVER AGAIN.... of the bathrooms union rail workers said "they were clean when we started!',..... they don't clean bathrooms.. and because the train lists so much - there is urine all over the floor and toilet..

The employees blame the passengers for urine - NEVER AGAIN _ EVER!

We went to Toronto by via rail in 14 Aug .The train was terrible. The sound of the train's horn was heard all the time and we were not comfortable. The route was difficult to rebuild and we were delayed.I wanted to get a return ticket too, but I gave up.I did not like via rail.
This was my first experience.

Great Station. Connects to Underground City, Orange Metro line via Bonaventure Metro and Green Metro line via Mcgill Metro. It also connects to Place Bonaventure and the indoor skating rink upstairs of that. Clean and spacious and has good sized food court located in the train station.

This one start review is regarding the little restaurant/cafeteria on the left of the 14th track (facing the Via Rail counter). I was sitting there waiting for my train and on the corner of my eyes saw something moving. I checked again and I saw some mouses run around. I never ate the food there and don t plan to, after the encountering of their little friends.

Traveled to and from Montreal from NYC. Easy to find where to go even without knowledge of French. The staff was very nice. I broke a Snapple bottle and they were understanding. The Mcdonald s was very crowded in the morning and thus took longer than expected.

Great train station!I really love how big and clean it is. I have to take it for Uni all the time so the easy access to multiple restaurants/ cafes is really convenient especially when I'm in a rush and need my coffee fix. The people working there are super sweet and always willing to help. Only complaint I have is that not all the entrances are clearly indicated from the outside. It took me some time to find the best way out to avoid the cold on my way to McGill Campus.

A lot of space and sitting spots. Good selection of eateries and cafes. Washrooms could be cleaner. Selection of shops could be improved. I'd like to see more souvenir options. The current souvenir shop has very little souvenirs to choose from.

I love trains, and this place smells like trains. Lots of little shops if you're in a hurry or you need to grab something on the way. Flowers, fast food, bread, coffee, alcohol. There is a food court if you just want to chill. Clean. Big. I love trains.

I like the central station, it is an important monument in montreal. It should do something even more grandiose in my opinion with the building.
I love this place

Superb customer service! Missed train due to roadblock. Staff was extremely helpful: helped searching for alternatives and suggested routes we didn't think of. Also they credited the missed ticket. Never experienced such exceptional customer service!

I have a really bad souvenir with the Montreal Central Station because March 3rd, 2018, my train from Toronto to Montreal was late of around TWELVE hours which is a lot of delays. If I had traveled by horse, my journey would have been faster.
Conclusion, favorize car or airplane.

Horrible building. Not made for travellers with luggage at all, especially the link with the metro station (too small escalators, too many complicated doors, steps, missing ramps). VIA Rail customer services refuses to accept complaints stating that they don't own the building so they don't care, while VIA Rail spokepersons keep saying to the media they never receive complaints. Second star is only for the nice variety of options in the food court.

Back in 8 years ago when me, Sam and the rest our class took the train back home to Toronto after staying there for almost a week. I just want to say about this station it is very nice because they have a nice food court, easy pathways, high platforms to get on the train quickly without having to climb up those to get on and the station is completely indoors without having to wait outside in the cold for a train to come.

Beautiful large station that allows you to eat and shop while waiting for your train or upon your arrival in Montreal. In the heart of downtown, you are close to everything. The station staff are very courteous. The only downside is that messages via intercom are difficult to understand, too small, too high and insufficient quantity.

A station with very clear indications that facilitate boarding the trains, a wide variety of fast food and snack shops. All the staff there are very friendly as in all of Montreal and all the super punctual departures; the station is not very big, but it is not crowded, which is good for the ease of location.
It is worth mentioning that all the staff at Via Rail are great, as are their trains and the comfort with which they travel with them.
